I had a legit shot at the variant but it being landscape made me hesitate

It's harder for me to get those to work in my display area than the vertical posters

I'll probably be grabbing one of the regulars though.

Snagged a variant.

Still not 100% sure it's the one I want, but I knew it'd be harder / more expensive to get later so went for that. Plus, I have 2 days to get the reg if I change my mind and shouldn't have trouble getting my money back + more on the variant.

I don't have a lot of landscape prints, let alone a set, so not quite sure how to frame and arrange them well. I guess I should have a look around and see how others have approached it.

I don't understand Jock's stuff :(

Think his Ex Machina is my favorite but I spend a lot of time looking at his work and can't decide if I'm into it or not.

Taylor's trilogy looks far more interesting.

Seems like Jock's best Star Wars prints were all concepts Mondo chose not to use.

My James Jean Shape of Water should arrive tomorrow -- very excited about that! I wonder what the final count was. It looks like the Rogue One from Mondo is also arriving today.

We got a WIP/mostly finished update image this weekend of another one that is happening and I absolutely died at it. It's an amazing group.. really wish I had been able to get in earlier for the Porco Rosso. :*( I have Totoro and Castle in the Sky up at work!

The person who runs the group suggested there would be a big one (and expensive at that) coming up soon so if anyone is at all interested in Ghibli films, I cannot recommend the group enough.

Wait, does that mean there will be open spots coming coming up?? I would love to get in on that.

If not, I have no problem paying resell for these, they really are fantastic. I've been able to track down Matt Ferguson's Nausicaä and Eng's Castle in the Sky, think this new From Up on Poppy Hill will be next.

I assumed that the group was open to join but I guess I could be wrong? I suppose I don't want to do anything wrong by sharing info if I'm not meant to, but the admin can probably be discovered fairly easily so it'd be worth reaching out to them if you're interested. They posted on GAF previously but I'm not sure if the person moved over here or not.

I wish that Eng - Shadow of the Colossus commission would have happened. The ICO print is one of my favorites and a SotC companion piece would have been perfect.

Very interesting. I just assumed all commission groups were super exclusive, but I'll poke around a bit.
