I read this as Ganon and then instantly thought D'Onofrio could possibly pull it off.Oh, we're finally becoming the D'Onofrio appreciation thread I've always wanted?!
Bring back Goren!

Finally. I've been waiting for months.
Netflix has ordered a fifth season of Charlie Brooker's praised dark anthology series Black Mirror. No word yet on the number of episodes.
Yeah was announced weeks ago, the cast even offered teary final words.Did I miss the announcement that Once Upon A Time was cancelled?
They started labelling everything with "The final season" after this weeks episode.
Oh wow lol,Yeah was announced weeks ago, the cast even offered teary final words.
I really hope they won't rush this. For me only half of the episodes from the last season were interesting and enjoyable.
Netflix Orders Australian Comedy Series From 'Summer Heights High's Chris LilleyMGM Television (Fargo, The Handmaid's Tale) has optioned Hiding In Time, an Image Comics miniseries written by Christopher E. Long and illustrated by Ryan Winn, to develop as a television series. Richard Smith (In Her Name/White Horse Pictures) is attached to pen the adaptation.
Australian comedian Chris Lilley, who created and starred in series such as Summer Heights High and Angry Boys, is to front a 10-episode comedy for Netflix.
OUAT sucks. Just watch the Magicians. The best show on SyFy and probably the best fantasy show on TV (next to Thrones).
Man I am old, I remember when Sundays and Mondays were big movie nights for network tvNo surprise at all the reruns there. Funny seeing a movie listed... I don't think many channels even bother hosting primetime movies, with the rise of streaming. I feel like there was always a moving playing on weekday nights on most networks.l
I think I just remember Sunday night Disney movies on ABC. Maybe that was around the time that ABC was bought by Disney?
I think it's more of a need for Brooker to work with some more people on ideas and scripts to prevent the next season from getting too homogeneous. The "Cookie" stories are getting a little played-out.I really hope they won't rush this. For me only half of the episodes from the last season were interesting and enjoyable.
butwhy.gifCrown International Pictures, producer of William Sachs' 1980 low-budget science fantasy comedy movie Galaxina, is bringing a reimagined version of the pic to the small screen. The company has set writer/producer Mark A. Altman (The Librarians, Agent X) to develop and showrun a science fiction TV series based on the film, which starred the late Dorothy Stratten as Galaxina, a cybernetic being who holds the key to the discovery of the mysterious Blue Star crystal. Crown is going out to distributors for the project.
I had no idea they were cut down and censored? My parents rarely took us to the theater so TV was how I saw a lot of movies. Thats interesting. "The Wonderful World of Disney" sounds like it could be the name of what I watched. Did that have Tinkerbell flying around during the intro and showing a castle and water on the screen? They also hosted it on network tv (at least, in Canada called "The Wonderful World of Disney").
I mostly remember the movies on Fox. Either a family, comedy, or action movie. Although it would pisse me off as a kid, because they were heavily cut for time and censored. I used to tape the movies I didn't own on vhs, and hated how stuff was cut from when I went to the theatee :/
One of Hollywood's long-lost scripts, period horror thriller Harrow's Alley, could finally see the light of day after British actor and writer Emma Thompson partnered with His Dark Materials producer Bad Wolf to develop it for the small screen. The project is set up at HBO, sources said.
...
Harrow's Alley is set during the black plague in the 17th century and follows an English town as it deteriorates. It follows the fortunes of two men, likeable but lawless rogue Ratsey and well-meaning alderman Harry, who are both trying to survive the dangers of the time.

The worst contender was Home Alone 2. Loved that movie, but only had my taped copy. Now if I rewatch it, the cut scenes stick out like a sore thumb, since I've already forgotten them :/
For Disney, I only recall that they showed the electric parade between commercial breaks. Also, it looks like Wonderful World was ABC, but what I saw was different... This intro was what I remembered (such nostalgia!)

Hm, thats wildly different from what I saw so I wonder what I'm thinking of. lol
Thanks I'll take a look through and see if I find one that seems familiar. If you Youtube "Wonderful World of Disney intro" there's plenty that pop up from the 70's till just last year, so I'm sure one of those would be it.
I think the first 2 seasons are on Netflix.Every time I see a commercial for The Magicians, it looks interesting. I should watch it, but just haven't had the time to do so with as many shows that I watch already.
Is it on Netflix or Hulu?
Yes. Season 3 is currently airing.
y'all been watching the Joel McHale show? It's pretty funny, it does make me wodner who watches these other shows they make fun of tho.
I guess this is the thread to ask but for the life of me I can't find any details on whether The Last Kingdom season 3 is in production or not. Just some folks saying that it should be coming back for season 3 but no confirmations. Have you guys heard anything?
It's listed as ongoing on the production company's website, and that's the best I can offer. This is so true though:I guess this is the thread to ask but for the life of me I can't find any details on whether The Last Kingdom season 3 is in production or not. Was Barbarella too high brow? Was the name recognition that valuable? I don't get this one at all
Yann Demange, the director of '71 and the upcoming Matthew McConaughey movie White Boy Rick, is teaming up with Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams for HBO's Lovecraft Country.
Demange will direct the first episode of the supernatural racial drama and exec produce it as well.
The show is being exec produced by Peele, Abrams and Ben Stephenson.
Lovecraft Country is based on the 2016 novel from Matt Ruff. It follows a man named Atticus Black as he joins up with his friend Letitia and his Uncle George to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father. This begins a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the terrifying monsters that could be ripped from a H.P. Lovecraft story.
Misha Green is writing and also exec producing.
Interesting, I guess that means the show is farther along than I thought. Also, for those of you like me who thought that this put Demange out of the running for Bond 25, turns out the films typically undergo principal photography in December/January. So, this likely means the pilot will film in the summer-fall or Demange is bowing out of the Bond race. There's movement on HBO's Lovecraft Country adaptation as they've hired a director for the pilot.
