I cannot set display to 1440p even though my monitor is far beyond that (I have one of those 21:9 Ultrawide monitors) on TV it works fine, but sometimes, I just want to play on my monitor, when I am working late, should try different HDMI or am I fucked?
Yep, USB audio support is a really glaring omission. I have a great headset I can't use with my Xbox because it doesn't support USB. Just do it like the PS4 does - with the option to select whether the USB device is used for Party chat audio or game audio.
An extra list that shows my GWG games is one of the most pointless 'updates' I've ever seen lol. They were already in the other list. :| If you were determined to add that crap why wouldn't you just make it a filter choice for the regular list of stuff I can install?

I do like the directional sounds but hearing the old swish sounds clash with the new ones. Hopefully those get tweaked, too. Edge needs quite a bit of work but it's surprisingly good now. Now all I ask for is extension support.

Since the two latest Alpha updates my console just won't wake up from standby, it does the "on" chime then right after it does the "off" chime and I have to press the power button on the console to boot it up, doing a full boot.

The Xbox One sounds since it launched have always been really obnoxious to me. Very happy with the new ones!
They were 360 era sounds. Always stood out really badly with the One UX IMO (and the swish sounds that are still in stand out even more now!)
Yep, all I need is Ublock and I will most likely consider another Xbox to plug in as a PC-like station in my living room.
Edge is pretty bad (prior to this 3.5gb update). Crashes a lot, UI navigation is terribad, and misses the whole point of using the same browser from PC since it misses many features (no flash, no tab sync, no reading list sync, no passwords sync, no extensions)

Man they REALLY screwed up the audio on this update, Using a cable box through HDMI-IN is now super quiet and almost unusable, while the dashboard sounds are blarringly loud, some apps are super quiet while others are loud, This has never been a problem in the 4+ years I've been using an Xbox to run my cable box through it. Happened to both my Xbox One X and Xbox S after this update. I've reported it in the console and the preview forums.

I'm getting REALLY annoyed by Achievement Language not being in the language that you set your System Language to, so I reported it as an issue. There needs to be an option to set Achievement Language or it should just default to whatever your System Language is.
Btw. an other 3.5GB update coming later today. They are now investigating this weird Power Shut Down issue, after you Power Up your console. I've been hit with it today, without knowing that it was an issue and I almost freaked out.

Man Plex is so messed up, the previous workaround fo switching to one app and then back to get rid of the constant emblem through movies/TV stopped working after lasts nights update. Now Plex just crashes when you do that.

What does suck is that espn.com recognizes it as like IE6 or something...so weird.

• Casting from the Xbox – Apps such as YouTube
Automatic discovery over WiFi is currently not working correctly. The YouTube app relies on this to make pairing seamless (Link with Wi-Fi). There is a known issue with uPnP and state separation that is being investigated. In the meantime, please use the second pairing method in the YouTube app. Launch the YouTube app then go to Setting à Link TV and Phone à Link with TV Code. Follow the directions on screen.

We are aware that the Schedule details is missing after you re-select your schedule from Dark or Light in Theme.
I'm sorry guys but I can just repeat myself. I'm beta user and the last update I've got was today with the new system sounds and the new edge browser, everything is fine but i STILL don't have the Game Pass category under "My Games".
Does anyone have an idea what is going on here? What went wrong? Is that Alpha exclusive for some weird reason? Is anything broken?

At least for me, the Wi-Fi pause issue fix works. Also seems to have stopped it jumping to weird speeds (I normally get 20mbs per second, per my plan, but sometimes it would jump up to 130-150mbs, then immediately drop to 300kb/s).

- You can now also upload content directly to Twitter. This means your screenshot and footage captures will now display and play directly in your Twitter feed, and it will also appear as part of your Twitter media. We'll even help you get your clips discovered by suggesting hashtags! To do so, just go to your Recent captures, pick an item and Share to Twitter!
- The Store button in Guide will be replaced with a Search button, which brings up a dialog that allows users to search through their installed content, Settings, and Store games and apps.

- If Microsoft Edge was pinned prior to downloading the 1804 update, attempting to launch Microsoft Edge from the existing pin will now succeed.
- We resolved an issue in which Games and updates are installing to non Home consoles even if you have selected to not keep games and apps up to date.
- We resolved an issue in which Upload Studio would fail uploading.
Settings
- When accessing the Language & location page in Settings, it may take a long time for the page to load.
- Pi-hole users may encounter issues signing in, creating, or recovering accounts upon downloading the 1804 update. This is due to a new configuration file which is downloaded from a URL Pi-hole blocks by default.
- Workaround: Add clientconfig.passport.net to the Pi-hole allowed IP address list.
- We are aware that some Spatial Audio users will experience unexpected game volumes and are working on a fix.
- We are aware that the Mono output feature is not working as expected in latest builds. The team has identified a fix and is testing. Please turn off the feature if you are using an audio receiver with less than 7.1 audio channels.
- We have identified an issue with Dolby Atmos for Home Theater and certain AVR models that will result in random sound cut outs. If a sound cut out ever occurs you can change your audio format settings to something else and then back to reset it.
- Some users have reported that HDMI in volume is lower for TV Input and some media apps. We are actively investigating. Workaround : Start Background Music and goto the Audio Settings and set the volume slider to 50% rather than 0% and the volume issue is fixed.
- In the Now TV app some UI elements are disappearing during playback.
- In the Plex App some users are experiencing buffering. We are actively investigating this issue. Workaround – You can back out of the Plex app to home then go back into the Plex app and playback continues.
- The Netflix team are updating the app as it is crashing for some users. Workaround – Please check for an update for the Netflix app.
