I've been watching reactions to Yorknew City and the way Kurapika looks when he is in the bed and when he speaks to Gon after waking up....Poor kid. It is tough to watch because you know how Kurapika wants nothing more than to have peace and serenity with his friends. He isn't really about that darkness and murder life. He is just forcing himself to be that way for the sake of his slain clan and his current friends.
His resolve is respectable as all get out though. He doesn't give a fuck about literally killing himself.

Made it to the Rose in my rewatch, damn that was great. Humanity goes up to A rank you silly ants, we've spent the entire time length of our species thinking up the most efficient ways to kill each other. Meruem should've read the databook.

Nen is so versatile that people would create hatsus to screw with machines.

well tech can do that, you don't need nen to make a virus. when tech progresses far enough the type of viruses people can engineer will far outstrip what any one person with nen can do. One person just can't stand up to the raw power of collective achievement.
I can see that being her thing too. Is anybody else liking the way Togashi draws Camilla's hair or is it just me?
Well there are planes in the HxH yet i still would take Tsubone nen plane over them, i would take a virus made by a magical power then a normal one. It's not like nen would stagnate just because tech progressing, future nen can be just as crazy as it is now. For all we know Tsubone great-grandaghter could be making jets and hacking nen could be something as crazy as some of the current abilities are.
And if Nanika granting wishes is a nen power oh boy theres nothing to do against that.
I of course would agree with you on the real world, but in HxH with magical powers in the mix i don't think its that easy.
EDIT: But in terms of destruction, nen has nothing on tech, that weak/cheap bomb is far more powerfull than any nen attack we have seen.

I haven't read in a while - Can anyone refresh me on what Kurapika's new ability is? Related to the queen's dolphin bug controlling ability?
In a very very very simple way that dolphin can steal hatsu for Kurapica to use or give it to other people, like the queen, to use. It's limited to 1 time. But requires the Emperor Time to be activated, and eats away life - 1 Hour every 1 Second of use. And once you equip it theres no turning back until its used.
I think those are the main points.

Hopefully. Some people have pointed out that his divination had a combination of all the other results and it would kinda suck for his ability to just be an alternate take on Emperor Time.
The gap between Zero and Rose is something too. Zero just gave Meruem a few scratches. Rose turned him into a small, crispy piece of charcoal that also inflicted him with an unavoidable death even after recovering. On top of that, it also killed two others that went into the radius of the explosion.
It is the human intent coupled with the progression of technology that makes it so comparable to Nen. Or at least potentially so.

If impurities appear in the water, the user is a Conjurer.
If the color of the water changes, the user is an Emitter.
If the leaf moves on the water's surface, the user is a Manipulator.
If a completely different change appears, the user is a Specialist.
Check mark for all of them. I'm sure Togashi will come up with something interesting.

I also think Leorio is going to be the focus once they reach the Dark Continent. Leorio's the perfect choice, because he's one of the most normal and relatable characters in the series. I want to see his reactions to the horrors of the Dark Continent, and experience the expedition from his perspective.
Will Leorio get top-billing over Ging, Beyond and Pariston in DC though? Because that's the only way I'd be happy about this, he's gotten the shortend of the stick for too long. I got super hyped when he was recruited into the Zodiacs, Kurapika wasn't even in consideration if not for him.
There's so much I want to know about him. For example:
- Just more characterisation
- His goals more clearly defined and given focus/progression. Set something big up for him so he has a reason to get top billing in an arc.
- Lets see more of his powers. I wonder if he employs restrictions/sacrifices or rely on emotion like Gon and Kurapika do or perhaps he went the Killua route and has a more grounded power.
- Explore his whole mindset of "I was just chilling while Gon was fighting for his life. No more" - It's quite a grounded step in character, but an interesting one nonetheless. It doesn't have to be over the top.

I'm hoping this will actually be the case. Leorio's time has got to be coming. He's one of the four main protagonists of this series, but has yet to receive anything even remotely close to the attention Gon, Killua, and Kurapika have gotten. DC would be a great place to change this.
I imagine he's powers and restrictions will be more like Killua than Gon and Kurapica

Assuming Tserriednich is the true main villian of this arc, I wonder if he will have any conflict with Chrollo and the other spiders, or if they will just be exclusively focused on Hisoka. The idea of having so many powerful people confined to the ship is cool.
