Thanks for the heads-up on Rabbids. Unfortunately it seems to be sold out, but I was late.

It's one of the only games that makes me want a Switch, though I worry about the difficulty. I already have Mario, but only because I pre-ordered it in advance and saved 25%. I did the same with Rabbids, thinking I'd have bought a Switch by then, but ended up returning it because I hadn't.

I'm tempted to grab Pokken Tournament since I missed it on the Wii U, but I'm not sure I'd actually play it enough to justify it. I might have to think on this one.

A friend of mine went to Best Buy to buy Mario + Rabbids at 29.99$ today during lunch, but since they were OoS he offered a rain check for when they'll have more in stock, even if the discount isn't there anymore he'll be able to buy it at that price.

Oh, nice. I don't really feel like going out today and am exhausted, so I'll probably just wait. That's likely YMMV anyways.

Thanks for the heads up though.

I'm currently on the second area of the four. It's been really easy so far. Never have I been at a near risk of losing.

Just go to Walmart to price match Mario rabbids. I just showed them the Best Buy price on my phone. Took 5 mins at most.

Don't worry about the difficulty. My fiancé is near the end of the game and she has never played any strategy game before. I had to explain what Mario + Rabbids were using chess as the anology. She loves it. So if your interested go for it especially at that price. Even if you hate it I'm sure on a double trade in at EB you will make your money back Atleast.

Oh okay. I've heard conflicting things about the difficulty and since I generally dislike and suck at strategy games, I worried it'd be too hard for me. Some people have said it gets pretty difficult.

It looked fun when they showed it at E3.

My skills are pretty bad lol. I tried playing the first Divinity Original Sin. It did not go well lol. I couldn't leave the first town because I'd lose every battle.

Yep I just did this today too. No hassle and they didn't even go to check BB's website to see if there was any stock. Just the flyer was okay.
Walmart won't accept the website lol. They only accept the flyer for PM.

They've been swindled out of too much money from people posting items for sale on Amazon for dirt cheap, like 4K TVs for 100 bucks lmao.

Totally forgot the Royal Edition was coming. Has anyone traded in Final Fantasy XV recently and remember how much ya got?

Granted I might just wait for a black friday deal because I doubt the season pass will go on sale 25-50 percent.

Y'all talked about poutine and no one mentioned Shawarma Poutine? What is wrong with you people. Tsk tsk.

Also, 50 dollars for FE Warriors or should I drop 70 for Kirby Switch? It seems to have some pretty meh impressions from the demo thread.

Or skip both?

Dont know about Kirby because I am not a fan, but 50$ for a 70% game (fe:w) is way too expensive.

Maybe the game is better now with updates?

Welp I learned my lesson at H&R Block.

It was mine and my girlfriends first year claiming common law and claiming kids. So there were a bunch of things I've never done before in regards to tax credits so I was afraid to mess up.

I had a good idea what to expect. Was about half what I expected as well as my girlfriends baby bonus was a lot lower.

So I question it, lady tries telling me I only get half of my girlfriends personal amount and half for Kid since he was born in June and that's when we became common law. I had no clue so I just agreed.

Went home and looked it over. Lady put all my girlfriends scholarships as income. So there was 7k extra income that shouldn't have been there lol. If I wouldn't have noticed it would have cost us over 5000.

They said it'll be fixed by Monday. Should I be able to get my money back for filing for me?

Man, fuck H&R noise. Scam artists at best.

Do your own taxes, it takes forever if you have lots of shit but so worth it.

I usually do but was afraid of messing up. Luckily I knew better. If they do that to somebody who dosent know better they get swindled out of a good chunk of money.

No idea if the government woulda caught on that it shouldn't have been income or not.

Doom for $50 is really tempting, but I would still feel ripped of because it is always on sale for on other platforms for $20.

I bit, even though I have it on PS4. It's such a great game worth the double dip. The posts on twitter showing the latest update's fixes sold me on it.

But yeah $50 is a bit much for a 2016 game. Though I'm not interested in some of the longer games recently discounted (perceived higher value) like Skyrim and Rabbids.

To each their own. I think Doom is stellar.

Anyone know if the copies of I am Setsuna that VGP has have English text on their cover? The English text cover usually sells for more than VGP is asking, but there's a version with a Japanese text cover that apparently also plays in English, which sells for less than VGP is asking.

Anyone was able to buy a gift card with their Loblaws card?

If not possible, I'll give the card to some food bank.

If not possible, I'll give the card to some food bank.

Under terms it says you can't use it for alcohol, gift cards, etc.

I think food banks prefer cash too.
Don't know if it's the same in Ontario:
The Greater Vancouver Food Bank (GVFB) says their organization and its sister groups are more than happy to accept the cards, but says would-be donors can actually triple their assistance by not donating the cards.

That's because when they get the cards, food banks are forced to buy food at retail stores, rather than through their bulk wholesale suppliers, explained GVFB CEO Aart Schuurman Hess.

I do my taxes through Simple Tax. Takes about 15 minutes. Mine are just income + some RRSPs so not exactly rocket science.

Can't wait to spend that sweet $35 refund this year $$$

Feels bad for my wallet. All of my savings are gone now. I hope I will get some back.

I'm avoiding doing my taxes because of that $19 I'm getting back.

I guess it does mean I didn't load the government interest free money , but it's so pathetic

It's considered safe to buy from vgp using PayPal Express, correct?

I just bought a couple of things from there and I just wanted to make sure.
