Ugh, it's going to be -20 on thursday here in Bollnäs according SMHI. I hope everything goes smooth for me and my family when we travel to Gothenburg this Friday. Otherwise it's been so damn cold here

Yeah I am a little concerned about that, but we won't actually be arriving till Thursday so I'm hoping we miss the worst of it.
We have Amber weather warnings in place from 6 in the morning tomorrow till 6 on Thursday night. If anything you will be arriving during the worst of it.

In my tabletop session today we were on a snowy mountain peak, our characters freezing our asses off in -20C. The one player who lives somewhere in the Middle East just scoffed and said that's ten degrees warmer than here. Full immersion.

Meanwhile I live in the Florida Keys. Have to feel bad for him, I might be shivering in 60F temperature but from my time living in Michigan I know I wouldn't want to be in his shoes. I love snow and the cold but not THAT cold.

Damn well I guess we'll see then. Thanks for the heads up.
No worries. Hope you can make it over. I love the snow and there's something romantic about it which is good for a honeymoon. I just know out airports are I'll equipped to deal with a sprinkling of snow never mind what is currently being forecast. Might not be so bad if you are flying into Glasgow cos it's gonna hit the east coast worst. I wouldn't expect Edinburgh to be open tomorrow or Thursday though.

Yeah we are flying into Edinburgh. We have a layover in Amsterdam, so I suppose we might end up getting stuck there if it happens.

Walking my dog now in a windy -14°c was not fun. The winds made it feel like -30°. I wore double pants and a nice coat but my face was dead by the time I got back inside. Dog didn't care though, always happy...

Lol. Was -12°C this morning here. Went out with my dog, he did his business after 200m (pretty fast for him), turned around looked at me and went straight home. I didn't mind.

No man my dog is basically a mini version of a snow wolf. I still have the video of when he first walk out into snow a year ago (he's two years old now), first thing he did was basically lie down in it! Let's see if I can't find it and make a gif...

Edit: here it is!

-25c, "feels like -30c" this morning in Finland. What the fuck. Thankfully this looks like the coldest it'll get according to iPhone's weather app.

I've been working from home for a few days but was going to go to the office today. Woke up and saw -27C on the thermometer. Guess I'm working from home today as well...

-6 currently and I can't postpone going to the grocery store anymore. Crap.

Seems like today will be the worst though. Too bad not a speck of snow had fallen where I live. If it's freezing as hell, at least do it right nature!

And you're from southern california? My child, you'll freeze. Paris is around the same temperature as I mentioned above, so get some layers going. Spain should be a bit more tolerable, but then again, it was snowing in Italy yesterday so I don't know what it's like in Spain right now.

Get a good coat, scarf, gloves and some thick socks. You'll need them.

It's still nice outside, imo. -8 here in Antwerp and had a lovely morning bike ride enjoying the sun. Some icicles on my moustache but besides that it's the perfect February weather.

Taken me over an hour to do a six minute journey. 12-18cm here in the East.

Work is still usually another forty minutes away. Fucking Hell.
