Polar vortexes/jet stream ridges have seem to be more and more common.

Europe is still relatively warm, especially given comparable places on the same latitude.

I hope climate change doesn't fuck up the gulf stream too much. :(

Yeah, it was actually snowing a little in Cornwall today. My town hasn't seen snow in like ten years, maybe longer

I don't have much sympathy for the UK, well down south anyway. They talk and act like it's the apocalypse.

Yes it fucking is. I'm supposed to move this week, lucky me. Thankfully I have a goddamn super sauna in my new apartment.

BRING IT! :D

Kidding aside, it's *really* fucking cold here. The actual temperature isn't that bad (-7C to -10C) but wind chill is absolutely crushing. :O We had close to -20C "real feel" this morning. #welp

I'm moving from the North East of Scotland to the French Riveria this week. It's motherfucking colder there than here! What the fuck that's all that about?

Canadians and Russians all looking at this chart and scoffing (politely in Canada's case) at European weaklings. That's nice February weather.

Meanwhile, we keep having record setting days and really weird patterns here where I live in the US (South Carolina). It literally went 40F one day, 80F the next day, 45F the next day then 75F, 80F, 81F, 48F, then back to 65F. Crazy stuff. A few of the days over the last week set a record high for that day in recorded history.

Normal temps this time of the year are 50-55 degrees Fahrenheit. Getting 75-85 is crazy and being 40 degrees one day then 80 degrees the next...is confusing, and nauseating.

Yeah, this is fucked up. We have had a relatively warm and snow free Winter this year, not like it snows a lot but still it happens even on a miniscule scale, and now out of nowhere right before March we are dipping below O and expecting snow. Literally, how? Greece isn't all sunshine all year, but March does reach 10-15°C.

In Manchester UK.

October 2017: 'Temperatures have reached 0 degrees Celsius, winter has come'.
February 2017: 'Weather has been exactly the same for 3 months, soon we will see the sun'.
