The Vita isn't selling out fast enough because all past titles were low-profile, but because nothing is selling for the platform. No, it's not the titles, it's the audience.
Regarding the "Guns, Gore and Cannoli" mess:
@LRG, yes, it sounds like breach of contract on the dev's part and your lawyer should look into that.
BUT: If you decide to cease & desist the release of the game, I think I'm done with you. All of you are about getting games released physically, and you shouldn't be attacking each other. Again, contracts can't just be ignored like that, that's not what I'm saying. But please do not have a factory-new set of PS4 games destroyed out of, yeah, more or less pettiness. You're better than that.

Start reading from the middle of that page. There's some comments from Douglas on the GG&C issue.
LimitedRunDouglas wrote: A little concerned about this as we have an active contract from two years ago still.

LimitedRunDouglas wrote: Yes, our contract gives us worldwide-exclusivity. So this is concerning.
FoP wrote: Yeah, I don't fully get the worldwide-exclusive thing. For some games it makes sense since the rights revert when LRG has sold their version, so stuff like RIVE and tge EAS games work since they were released after the LRG versions. Ghost Blade had a loophole. But what about games like Dariusburst that already had a version released? Oh well, the fine print of LRGs contracts is hardly our business.
However, while this certainly is a shitty situation it's certainly one that the developers themselves put themself in. Unless Josh let them go without Douglas knowledge, so the contract still is valid, of course it's a problem. However the SLG version is probably hard to delay - they did nothing wrong unless they knew LRG already signed it, and if they don't sell them there's the risk of breaching two contracts, so unless it can somehow be legally stopped within a day (during a weekend) I don't see it being delayed. The problem is the developers of course, and I gotta say I really wonder what they were thinking. I mean you hardly forget such a big thing as a physical run if you're a small developer, and it's strange that if they thought the ball was in LRGs court (while inreality it was in their own) to not get in touch for over a year.
LimitedRunDouglas wrote: It wasn't canceled by either of us. They could have done a reprint after our print, but not before. The ball was kind of in limbo, but they hadn't even followed up or bothered to tell us that they would like to go with someone else. We've had a dev ask before to be let go to work with someone else and that is okay, but not asking is like a slap in the face and a breach of contract.
LimitedRunDouglas wrote: Everyone should be safe. Either you will get your money back, it will be delayed or canceled.
Lawyer looking into this.
shinoff2183 wrote: So your saying this ain't happening. Will you guys still release it. Looks like a great game. I just want it
LimitedRunDouglas wrote: I'm saying regardless of the outcome everyone will be okay.
I have legit no idea what will happen yet.
It could either be not affected, delayed or canceled (SLG)
Ours is most likely canceled if their's isn't.

Should be announcing some more stuff Monday!
No release planned for March 2nd!
I don't have a horse on this race, so I probably shouldn't voice my opinion, but from here it looks like both LRG and the developers of GGC screwed up, the former by letting a contract slumber for two years without acting on it, the latter by getting fed up with it and going to another publisher without first clearing things up with LRG. While legally LRG are in their right to pursue action, morally I don't think they should -- trying to set an example so it doesn't happen again is not the ideal way to act on those situations if they don't intend to scare away potential partners in the future.
However, it seems clear LRG won't do their own release if SLG isn't stopped: "Ours is most likely canceled if their's isn't." As such, if you are interested in the game, you probably should get it now or risk having to go through scalpers later. In the scenario that SLG release does get canceled, you get your money back anyway.
That was before the market gotten so comparative, the extra thousand copies on the market will make a huge difference. After the Ghost Blade mess I think they will only do multi-region for major release.
SLG stands for Strictly Limited Games, an European competitor/counterpart to LRG.Interested to know more about this, Could you explain more ? what is SLG and GGC ?

It was released by Play Asia which led to its LRG release being canceled.
I guess that's the problem with working with small indies. They can be a tad more amateur ^^'
March 9ths games will be sick. Super excited for them all but especially the SHMUP!
Not really...Has the physical korean version of Battle Garegga on PS4 english text?
Limited Run Games said they were currently investigating the possibility of a North American version back around this announcement. Just be forewarned about the prominence of Korean text if you're going to take a jump for the import.
i'm secretly hoping that, nurse love addiction and garegga aren't all on the same day otherwise i'll be having to gamble on buying each seperately and then the waiting list becausei don't trust one thing to go out of stock while i'm adding something else, i nearly lost night trap that way

GGC is Guns, Gore and Cannoli, a game we are discussing on this page as being released by SLG today while also being in an exclusive contract with LRG.

SLG - Strictly Limited Games, GGC = Guns, Gore and Cannoli.
The problem is that Limited Run Games signed Guns, Gore and Cannoli two years ago for an exclusive physical release. Said physical release hasn't happened in said two years. Fast forward to last Friday, whereby Strictly Limited Games announces that they're going to be selling a physical print run of Guns, Gore and Cannoli today. End result, LRG's getting the lawyers out.

This has my vote!
I've been trying to keep myself from pulling the tigger on the Korean version of Battle Garegga for the past week now. It's not easy, I'll tell you that much...March 9ths games will be sick. Super excited for them all but especially the SHMUP!
Any idea when we can expect the announcement of the March 9th games to be made?

LRG should step in and make a physical Vita print for Darkest Dungeon and Steamworld Dig 2.
