The PS4 has yet to sell the same amount of copies as the Vita version already did for the same batch.
Man, less than a minute ago for Munch's Collectors. So gross that people are selling this at $140 on eBay.
Welp, Paypal royally screwed me over. I added Munch CE to cart the second it went live and I was already logged in Paypal but instead of the order going through after pressing "Complete order" I simply got a message saying I have been logged out of Paypal due to being inactive. Really confused and frustrated right now. :(
they do some fudging of the numbers behind the scenes to make it seem like less copies are available.

I had to buy the mega bundle. I was planning to buy the three games, but really didn't want the LE of Oddworld or Revenant for PS4. I hope those will be easy to sell.

So I click add to cart when oddworld LE went up and it was listed as sold out on the next page :/ I can never get anything good from these guys
Oddworld LE should be trivial to sell, Revenant might be more of a problem.
I think we're going to carry on with the refrain "the Vita is not the problem" with regards to sales, and their conservatism with regards to Vita releases in recent months have just bitten them.
They really need to go back to that method they tried with...was it "Night Trap" where they took orders for an entire day, for the standard edition.

it was Ys Origins, Night Trap sold out pretty quick and then they had a lot of people crying about missing out on it
I think it was Y's, but, yeah, for big and anticipated releases, I wish they had a preorder window. Night Trap was a fiasco and a half because everyone knew it would sell out in seconds, and it did, and people were pissed about it.
Edit: Nothing for me this week. I'm done with the Vita, and the other games didn't interest me (And one seemingly reviewed poorly).
Seeing the demand for Oddworld is moving visiting the LRGs booth at PAX up on the list of things to do first.
But really, it only thrives through speciality retailers and online pre-orders. Gamestop only carries like, 1 copy each in stores. Not healthy, but the small market is still there.

Call it a hunch, but I think we're going to see LRG Vita sales drop off a cliff when they start releasing Switch titles. I know this idea might upset some folks, but I think there's a lot of overlap, and when it comes to choosing between the two most folks are going to buy Switch releases.

Switch is 100% my vita successor. Never even took the dock out of the box and will buy all of my weird Japanese games and Indies for it lol.
Seems clear as day no one is buying vita games anymore. Everyone buys Switch only games now
Depends on the games imo. I personally dont plan on buying ported Switch titles if they already have a physical release on the PS4 or Vita.
Dont really want to rebuy a game for the Switch just for the sake of it being on Switch and portability. I could use money for something else. Just my personal thoughts on it.
There are quite a few Vita titles on the books with no Switch version in site that I will juggle my schedule for a chance to buy; VA-11 Hall-A, Narcissu, Nurse Love Addiction, Fault Milestone One, Cosmic Star Heroine, Rabi-Ribi and the not quite formally announced The House in Fata Morgana. Of these the only one I would 'switch' to Switch as a preference if available is Rabi-Ribi because I feel like the game would be more satisfying on a larger display. Visual novels (and Cosmic Star) seem to cry "play me on a dedicated handheld".
Not for me. I have a Switch but it's simply not portable enough. Too large, battery doesn't last long enough.
Add to this the unforgivable sin of having no d-pad.
Not unless they release the same games for both systems, and I don't think there are any potential Vita/Switch games?
I don't know why some people think they have to sacrifice Vita on the altar to get Switch releases. They're coming, we can have both, it's fine.
There's something I've been meaning to ask about. The LRG release of Dariusburst CS for Vita comes without any of the patches included on the cartrdige. According to one of their tweets, every single patch does nothing but adding compatibility with the DLC. Do we have any official patch notes? Read somewhere else that one of the patches add a quick restart option, for example. I've also heard that all of the patches are included in their PS4 release.
For Switch to be fully realized as THE handheld darling, it must get all the Vita and 3DS worth while games, while receiving Nintendo's undivided attention. Both consoles must be sacrificed to make this ideal a reality.
