Today I have received the limited run games card binder and I love how the cards look there, however I don't understand why is so difficult to obtain the complete card collection, I hope that they make something so people can get all cards, now it's ridiculous if you want a complete set.

Yep the trading cards are much better than the postcards we used to get, I doubt i'd go out of my way to get a full collection of them given it would probably end up costing too much but an option to be able to acquire them if someone wanted to would be nice. I know they were probably thinking trading of them would work out better but that's not exactly easy for most people.

The plan:

1x Oddworld regular edition.
1x Metronomicon
1x LRG trading card binder
1x Ship Items (because I'm getting worryingly close to the $500 shipping insurance limit).

I need to shoot them an email as I'm still waiting for them to ship my held order back from when Rock Boshers went on sale.

What's everyone picking up this Friday? Personally, I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to even get anything. As I mentioned before, Asdivine Hearts was awful, and I can't in good conscious drop another $25 on more Kemco swill. Munches oddyssey is a maybe, but I'm not as munch of an Oddworld fan as I used to be, and it's not like I can't get it for less than $10 on the original Xbox. I bet it'll get Xbox One support, too. Finally, Metronomicon, which looks neat, but I'm not crazy about the art, the game looks more rhythm than rpg, and I get bored with rhythm games quickly.
I might buy Revenant Saga if it's available.

Revenant Saga, both versions, unless something comes up.

Doing a dry run for tomorrow, I plan on getting four games. Is the LRG card binder a good test item? For four of them, I see 12.50$ shipped to USA or 20$ shipped to Canada. Should be the same price for four games?

Some updates to the pages for tomorrow it looks like, The Metronomicon now has a soundtrack bundle and the mega bundle has also changed to include that soundtrack (so is more expensive than it was previously). All games now state that they're not ready to be shipped immediately, Oddworld shows as early March the others don't state a date for shipping.

I see we're still getting randomized reversible covers. When is this going to end? It sucks that you still can order two and not even know if you're going to get two different covers or not. The only reason I want to buy two is to have one of each cover.

Munch's Oddysey is just a reverse cover so you can just switch it instead of having to spend $60

I already know they're reversible as I mentioned it already but I keep them sealed for the collection in my library. So that doesn't do me any good. LRG said they were going to stop this practice.

I swear I'm the only one on here that doesn't care when the game comes in. Especially when no intention to play it ASAP.

I'm only speaking for myself, but I have a moving date coming up. Considering the track record that many here have had with shipping issues, having no clear fulfillment and shipping date could be a problem. The sooner I have an idea of when said game is shipping out, the sooner I can ensure that my information will be updated with LRG's database and make corrections if needed.

I understand the whole patience to play thing, but after some of the nightmares I've seen with our group here, if I would have known ahead of time that certain titles weren't received from Sony yet, I might have passed on buying them.

i don't really care either because i tend to hold it and then let it blow after 5 games, only problem i have with LRG is by the time i'm ready to ship some games don't always come with cards which i don't really care about but i still enjoy getting those cards

It just needs to be communicated. (Right away)
And like the other user mentioned, it can be important when you know you're going to be away or possibly moving as he is.

They knew they wouldn't have the games in stock when they were announced.
Just say "shipping in xxx".

The main thing is that you can be a good customer and end up with 4-5 $100+ orders that haven't shipped. Not that I don't trust them to eventually ship, but having thousands of people that could have paid out up to $400-600 each for pending product isn't a good thing. Not to mention that having an order marked shipped doesn't really mean it shipped, just that a tracking number is assigned.

It isn't like they have really been caught up either. For the most part releases have been fast enough that it's a rolling window.

At least be up front about it.

It's been a while since I have been tempted to pick up an LRG title on the strength of the cover alone but, hot damn, Metronomicon's cover is the hottest fire.

Going to pass on Oddworld and take a chance picking up the PAX copy in April instead. Not a big cover collecting guy but there's a novelty to it I can appreciate, and saving on shipping to Canada doesn't hurt either.

Just placed my order. Decided to just go with one copy of Oddworld, and I passed on Metronomicon.

Edit: Oddworld is sold out. That was quick.

surprised that in the email last night that LRG mentioned the other oddworld games go for a lot now and that Munch's Oddysee wasn't limited to 1 per customer

Didn't manage to buy the Munch's Oddysee HD collector's edition even though I was right on time. :( Why is such a high-demand product limited to two per customer instead of one LimitedRunGames ?
