Why not? I'd say we have a pretty decent chance at getting it, actually. I don't see why anyone would jump to such a conclusion as early as this.
If you miss my stream, here it is (full demo):
It's a short demo. You battle Shin and do a side-quest. The graphics don't look all that good, but the soundtrack is dope. I think it will never get localized, tho.
Just played the demo. I enjoyed the gameplay on foot. Not too fond of the driving though.
Yeah it took me about 55 hrs to beat Ishin @ ~35% completion, so that's more than fine with me.Ishin levels of content eh? That's actually pretty great as I felt Ishin had a decent level of content (right up to the grinding for the last couple of items for the completion list!).
Honestly I wouldn't even bother trying on a first run because you need to beat the game at least 2x anyways and the game has missable, entirely arbitrary hidden trophies in every other chapter that you have no way of knowing about unless you dig through a guide online, so you may already be boned anyways.I started Yakuza 0 the other day. So far I am on chapter 2 and have done just about all side quests possible to this point. Except the pocket circuit ones that require a ton of money, and one for finding a different shakedown. Is there anything else I should be doing as I go through the game to alleviate getting all the trophies later? This game doesnt seem as bad or tedious as the other games trophy lists.
mudai yep I was just about to rave about the Binary Domain theme too! Awesome nod.
The game actually reminds me of ishin in a few ways. Wanted Man jobs are back, gear system looks back and applies seemingly to both clothes and the car. Smallish hub city, etc.
Don't know if anyone here has a favorite Yakuza series boss fight, but my personal favorite has to be the feral tigers in Yakuza 2. I never felt that level of anxiety until Saejima fought the giant bear in Yakuza 5 (funnily enough, the bear returns in Ishin). Man vs Wild I tell ya.
Yes as a matter of fact. It happens a few chapters after Ryoma joins the Shinsegumi. It's the EXACT same bear as the one Saejima fought with even more quirky hitboxes.
Edit: the bears can be fought in the tournament arena as well.
Finally got the hanneman cp in mahjong, this shit took me around 8 hours, i was going crazy with this.
Nicely done :) On the bright side with it out the way you should hopefully find any future Mahjong trials easier since the game (and challenges) never really change from game to game!
I only have 8 JCC wins and mahjong left. With no prior mahjong knowledge this could take at least 15 hours right? Finally got the hanneman cp in mahjong, this shit took me around 8 hours, i was going crazy with this.

Link?Anyone watch the latest Yakuza stream from Sega? Really appreciate the level of detail and love put into the localization, all the way down to title fonts of arcade games that had a limited release in the West...
Like to be honest I think that was probably my issue with Persona 4. It just felt /wrong/ to hear it in english like that. Like a "how do you do, fellow kids?" type thing.I rather the honorifics be left in, as long as its Japanese voice acting I'm fine with it, if its English VA's saying stuff like "Kiryu san" it just sounds weird for some reason.
As long as it's Majima talking to Kiryu, I'm fine with the occasional "Kazzy-kun" honestly >.>Yakuza went through weird translation inconsistensies. Like the first 1st game with the dub had a lot of Japanese terms in it. And then the PS3 games had "Kazzy" and stuff. They are doing everything right now.
