A little Torn on Huber's kingdom come deliverance discussion. On the one hand I thought they discussed the controversy well, but then Huber doesn't understand why people are upset about 29GB day one patches...how can someone be so out of touch?
I don't know why they did it, but apparently the game is made out of 2GB "blocks", so if something small is changed in a block, it needs to download 2GB. I honestly don't mind it as much either (I don't own Kingdom Come, but I have seen other big day one patches), but I understand why people really don't like it (people with slow internet/low datacaps and it just doesn't feel right that the game isn't "finished").A little Torn on Huber's kingdom come deliverance discussion. No, I don't think they need to be further covered up with episode titles or game titles. The majority of contexts will include the title text, and likewise most games will be recognizable from the image alone. I much prefer to use a clean bit of art, and the top banner clearly displays the show logo or type of content. And you'll see the same goes for a lot of thumbnails from IGN, KindaFunny, Netflix, etc.It propagated! If you're cool with me being nitpicky, I'd still try to work out into the thumbnail the title of the game / title of the podcast, because if the embed doesn't have the youtube auto-context, then you're left at the will of the embed-er to actually put the context in. I think that's why most channels do it. Still a good new look!
Fair! I also like the clean look better, just a small concern I had but if it's done elsewhere with no issue, great! It says 997 for me, I wonder which 2 of their videos are blocked here in Italy.

I don't know what Secret of Donkey Island is supposed to reference either. There are a lot of video games out there, it's natural that not everyone is in tune with references to every game.My point is the title of the Quake parody game has the word cake spelled as QAKE. It's not exactly the riddle of the sphinx. I've never played any of the Quakes but even I'm able to recognize what shooter "QAKE" is parodying and that's why it's so weird that Kyle doesn't get it. It's like seeing a point-and-click adventure parody called The Secret of Donkey Island and choosing to describe it as "like Police Quest".
Probably some European thing then. I am curious to know which videos are blocked, but I don't think there is a good way to find out.
Also Huber was really bad at explaining the Father/Mother situation in Kingdom Come. He made it seemed like the father was an asshole that treats his wife and son badly, drinks bear and slap girl's asses all day. In reality it's the opposite, he's like this incredibly talented blacksmith who left everything to leave in a small town with his family, is a great mentor to his son and protects him and his wife until the end.
I really don't know how Huber got a bad vibe from him. Just because he's kinda strict? If anything he's just like Ryo's dad in Shenmue.
Oh yeah there was the bar maid too lol. It's really clear that they are together, don't know what was weird about the flirting.Yeah i was really confused at what he was talking about. Husband tapping his wife's ass is creepy? And the main character might be a bad person because he is going to go out with the bar maid?
I was like dude what are you talking about lol. Eza does know that sex happens right?
That's what happens when Kojima worshiping happensWatching the Metal Gear Survive stream...yikes. This is rough.
They were wildly underleveled for the multiplayer and they didn't play a single story mission.
If that isn't not giving a game a fair I don't know what it is.
Consensus: Meh.
On top of that they constantly made fun of the game on top of that...it's like why even play it then? I'm not even interested in the game but I wanted to see someone play the game for real to see if I'd change my mind. Not getting that at all.
This isn't the first time I've seen EZA judge a game after barely playing it either.

That's the number when looked at in Finland. Well, it's 1000 now that TTE S2E4 is out.
It's weird, even after TTE it still shows as 997 (and it's not the browser cache as I tested it in different browsers). That's the number when looked at in Finland. Well, it's 1000 now that TTE S2E4 is out.
Maybe one of them is the last Ubisoft E3 conference (or maybe both Ubi conferences they've covered) cause I think its use of licensed music led to it being blocked on certain devices so maybe countries too.
Probably that one episode of Easy Update where Ian and Don go on the most xenophobic anti-Italian rant I've ever heard. Couldn't believe my ears at some of the things Don was coming out with.
Hey, Axass, seeing as your Italian may I ask you a completely unrelated question? How is Gomorra received over there? Series 3 has just made it to the UK and I have to say it's probably my favourite TV show of all time but hardly anyone talks about it. I hope it's getting the credit it deserves back home.
Little Podcast spoiler:
Goals are gone. Bummer, I liked them. But the game pitches should be fun, too. Brandon's answer was pretty great.
Oh, and cool little guest appearance.
The podcast isn't public until friday, that's why. And last week it felt like a bit and some people here were still hoping that Kyle wasn't serious. We're spoiler tagging...podcasts?
Don't get me wrong, I'm VERY spoiler-sensitive but at that intense level of spoiler-sensitivity, it's on you to not come into the thread until you've listened, not on others to tag their posts.
And goals were retired last week already.

I understand it if there's a surprise appearance or something.We're spoiler tagging...podcasts?

Duuude, spoiler that shit. ;)So, I'm wondering if the panel was actually in on that "Kyle's Imagination Rap" segment or not. If they were in on it, they certainly sold it very well. Especially Brandon.
Then again, he does have some acting experience lol
I'm sure they weren't just sitting silently for two minutes if they didn't know about it :PSo, I'm wondering if the panel was actually in on that "Kyle's Imagination Rap" segment or not. If they were in on it, they certainly sold it very well. Especially Brandon.

I found the butt slapping weird too, and after thinking about it for a while I realised why: it's one of the first things you see the main character's parents do. There's nothing wrong with a couple being playful like that with each other, but as a writer, why would you choose that particular action when introducing two characters, parents no less. I don't know these people yet so them being cheeky is kinda weird instead of endearing. Build up to it.Yeah i was really confused at what he was talking about. lol true. i really liked this episode. it might be the best ever.To be fair this podcast does have a couple moments I wasn't prepared for :P
