This sidequest from Majora's Mask was not only the most involved from a storyline perspective, but was also tricky from a gameplay perspective as well with an FAQ. Felt super satisfying to get them together right before the moon hits, before you Song of Time the eff out of there, and this scene was a very cathartic moment in a game that is often about unhappy endings.

The game's pretty linear so you have to come across this. You can't miss it, plus it's one of the rare moments where Ellie and Joel are in a chill mood.

I saw the giraffes, but I don't remember them coming close to Ellie and Joel.

Edit. I just watched a video and I definitely didn't see the queue to pet that thing. I probably ran right by it!

This was one of the happiest moments in a game for me in recent memory. I felt kind of teary during this.

Oh man, that was a great one. So touching, and the timing of it all was incredible.
