Excellent season finale. Emotional, strong dialogue and acting. Not as action packed as I expected but honestly I think the episode was far better for it. We had tons of action already and this was a very Star Trek ending!

The explanation for what happen to Michael's parents was rough. They didn't go into to much detail but they went into it enough that one can easily take the next step and figure out what happen to her mother. Wow.
So glad the rank is back and love the family sequence at the end.

I wouldn't go that far. This show has been pretty good about how they show sexuality. That's not how I took that scene.
Not going to cancel yet. I going to watch this episode a few more times and I'm know I'm going to binge watch the season at least twice. So they're at least getting another month or two out of me until that is done.

It would be really cool if they could get Quinto if Paramount isn't going to get off their ass and make a 4th film.
I thought it was a bit rushed for a finale, but it left the show in a very interesting place for S2.

Very satisfied! Less bombast than I expected from a season finale but I'm completely fine with that. I have a lot of thoughts that I'm not going to type on a phone, but I really enjoyed the season.
Season 2 should be interesting, hope we get an ETA soon.
