The thing about ROTS was that it was one the one prequel that had some incredibly anticipated scenes that people had been waiting for for decades.I never understand how people think this one is the one that's ok.
It's one of the worst films I ever seen.
TFA is 5/10
ROTS is 7/10
OP is right. TLJ is 4/10 after 3rd viewing

Anakin's fall to the dark side, the Jedi Purge, the end of the Clone War, Obi-Wan fighting Anakin on a lava planet, the rise of the Empire, the birth of Luke and Leia. It was impossible for it to be boring. This was after the first two films which were full of nothing and wasted time. The underlying story or at least the potential is so great and there's so many lightsaber fights and major moments that for some people it's easy to overlook just how bad the execution was.

One thing I did not expect from Star Wars fandom would be a narrative that any of the prequel films would be better than what the sequel trilogy has to offer. It's just bananas to me.
Eh this is the only thing I disagree with. It's a nice looking movie.
Yeah, it's garbage. However, I disagree, it is only the second worst; the honour of worst goes to attack of the clones. Though the margin isn't that large. This has become such a tiresome trope.
The worst Star Wars movie by far
More embarrassing than the love story of Attack of the Clones
So terribly awkwardly transparent an attempt at 'mature' themes, with all the 'elegance' of the other prequel films
The silliest turn in film history when Anakin goes from awkward teenager to slaughtering a kindergarten without questions
The worst opening of any Star Wars movie, 20 minutes of fighting with no motivation, no purpose, no direction
The most offensive treatment of any Star Wars character in its disposal of Padme
The worst portrayal of R2D2 in any movie
Tailor-made for 13 year olds who want to feel grown up when they're just kids
At every scene another attempt at selling toys, like all-time worst character Grievous, followed by the stiff as fuck Ewan McGregor jumping on a lizard to ride around for no reason
The worst acting yet by Hayden Christensen
Yeah, it's disgusting
Prequels > New Trilogy
TFA = Worst Star Wars Film
ROTS is on par with the original trilogy.
Original trilogy (and SW films) aren't even that good.
The worst opening of any Star Wars movie, 20 minutes of fighting with no motivation, no purpose, no direction
I can only think that people that say these things were edgy children when they first watched ROTS.Didn't even get to the bottom of page one.
We all like different things, but saying ROTS is better than TFA and TAJ is not an opinion, it's wrong at a molecular level.
"The dark side of the Force surrounds the Chancellor"
later
"A SITH LORD!???!!!"
- Mace Windu, dumbest man in the galaxy
TFA is the first (and last) good Star Wars film released since 1983.
Obi-Wan's pretty close, he's told by Dooku that a Sith Lord controls the Senate."The dark side of the Force surrounds the Chancellor"

"A SITH LORD!???!!!"
- Mace Windu, dumbest man in the galaxy

I enjoyed my initial viewing of TLJ and gave it a 7 but each time I watch it l, I see so many flaws and the score keeps dropping .Haven't seen it since December 26thTFA is 5/10

How about Episode II Attack of the Clones is by far the best Star Wars movie ever?
TruthTo be honest RotS was screwed the moment they cast Hayden for AotC. Even if they hadn't of messed up everything else there's no way he was going to be convincing as the guy who becomes Vader which was the most important thing the movie needed to achieve.
Despite that being worse, it isn't that much worse. How about Episode II Attack of the Clones is by far the best Star Wars movie ever?

Even if he just thought he was totally lying it's not something you just don't tell Windu or Yoda.
