Super duper awesome.

I know it was already basically announced but so nice to see it confirmed. This is like my #2 most anticipated title behind any Atelier games.

Christ though, February has been the most brutal month on my wallet. Factotum today; Revenant Saga next week then Oddworld the week after. I may have to skip Fallen Legion by virtue of literally not being able to afford it lol.

There are 3 other games being announced today?

Also, variant covers are reversible now aside from one of the Munch covers since you can't do that with 3. 1 is intended to be a PAX cover.

"OMG PAX EXCLUSIVE WTF?!"

I got to pay for the booth!!!!

Just wanted to get that out of the way haha.

Good to know. Is it PAX East?

Missed out on New and Tasty with driving back from East 2016 so getting to pick up Munch this year would be fitting. Do those games tend to last the whole show?

Not sure, but we will try to make it PAX East. Originally it was for PAX South, but we missed that obviously.

They tend to last the whole show, especially Vita titles. PAX attendees are usually there for the AAA stuff or aren't aware of the Vita gospel.

I really think you should look into alternative methods to finding a way to pay for a booth, as your current method works against the market you're catering to.

Can't sell my soul or body anymore, so there aren't a lot of options. We typically have enough to sell on the website after the event, so it usually works out for everyone.

Forgot about today's releases. Now Factotum is sold out on the Vita. Will have to wait for the second batch.

How about selling them on the website before the event (so more people have a chance), and if any left over, sell at the PAX event? I know the PAX variants havent sold out at an event yet, but a time may come that it will, and it is gonna suck.

I think the bigger question is if the PAX events bring enough revenue/word of mouth to even be worth the booth fees in the first place.

Great, I'll be sure to swing by!

I'd imagine having a presence at shows like PAX also helps make connections with developers that will lead to more LRG published titles.

Everything sold out quickly this morning, by the looks of it.

Awaiting to hear about the mystery games, like the RPG, for the rest of the month.

They're PAX exclusives so they have to actually have them available there when they go. They've always kept copies to one side for the website as well though, even if they all sell at PAX there's usually enough to at least give some people a chance of getting a copy the usual way (which is the fairest way to go about it).

They mentioned they do it to pay for the booth.. selling beforehand accomplishes the same thing in the end, they said they had no other way of doing it... like just put a listing up for PAX and say these copies will help us pay for our booth, bla bla bla.. it will sell out, bam, no need to alienate their consumer base

We don't usually just sell the variant though, people looking for the variant at our booth will pick up other games. The goal is to promote traffic to our booth.

So without the variant there, u dont think they will buy anything else?
PAX South was much slower with us not having a variant. Typically when we announce a variant we get a huge line formed as soon as the doors open. The secret to a successful event is having an exclusive, it's why pins are so big right now, booths with them get a lot of traffic. I don't feel like an LRG pin is enough to drive customers though. They usually get a pin for playing a game or buy it due to being a penny arcade pin.

So pax east is going to have 2 variants? Bit Trip was supposed to be south but was delayed..

I went to the booth at PAX Prime/West/whichever last year and went for the Ys variant..m walked out with a copy of Jotun. At the time I didn't feel like waking up early to play the fast clicking game, but it still looked interesting and an "since I'm here..." situation. I saw lots of people in line picking up Ys plus like 1 or 2 other titles.

I feel like it's rare for boths to actually sell their own games. I was surprised to see that Yacht was selling Shovel Knight copies.

I am anticipating the ' will ship in Mid-March' last second add-on
None of the games for tomorrow have that disclaimer that they don't have it ready to ship yet, I wonder if they're going to sneak that in minutes before it's up for sale again.

Y'all were right.
I hate this.

Please note that this item is currently in manufacturing and is expected to ship in March.

I'm pretty sure a lot of the announcements are already scheduled!

Not sure, I'll ask him when he gets back from moving some stuff to the new office.

Bit.Trip PS4 and Screencheat are here and are shipping asap. We've been for the most part trying to stick to selling things that are in hand. Right now honestly the delays help our shipping team a little since Windjammers CE took forever to ship, we also had to get the Blind Boxes out, and we are moving to a new office next week.

Don't add the "manufacturing delay" notice on the day of sale.
It's very misleading.

Does that mean Revenant Saga has been delayed from 16th February, where I assume it was the "unannounced RPG"?

Great to hear Bit Trip is shipping soon, very eager to play that along with Croixleur Sigma. Any idea when that game ships out?
