I kinda like quests that you do while playing the game. I'd really like more quests like this:
- Spend 500 materials
- Do 500 damage to players
- Do 1000 damage to structures
- Heal 200 HP/shields
- Place 5 traps
- Get 10 head shots
They're practically stress free for good players, but new players will find some challenge to them.
For stuff like you're suggesting, I would rather have some set of challenges to be completed that are always available rather than random daily quests. Dailies should be stress free IMO, and probably should stack up a lot more than they do now. The annoyance of trying to do Top 6 squads and getting 7th with 9 people left pretty much kills my will to play for a couple days. Thankfully I only have 3 tiers left, but bleh.
I really, really, really hope that pink bear is an actual skin.

I tweeted them daily for a week straight, I messaged several official EPIC guys on reddit, I opened a thread in their official forum, I opened a big reddit thread where an EPIC employer even answered (the only time at all about this whole problem) but this was a week ago and I just opened a new one on reddit. I tried to do everything I can but EPIC is just ignoring this issue for that every Battle Pass owner f'n paid for.
Last thing I could do is opening a separate ERA thread about it cause it's, in my opinion, a serious problem that this was a advertised feature for that we paid for and they don't do anything to fix it. It almost feels like they try to hide from it or ignore it on purpose, it's ridiculous.

Yeah, you're right, why talking about serious issues here and get this spread out, just let EPIC be dicks which only have dollar signs in their eyes.
I like how there are different standards for different companies. If this was EA's Fortnite, a paid feature not working for two weeks with next to no communication would have prompted armageddon. Epic should be held accountable for something they charged for and have failed to fix for two weeks now.

Epic have said they are working on it, its potentially just a difficult bug to squash. They've said they are open to further compensation on certain issues and have done more than enough to build up good faith with the player base with past issues.
Its absolutely fine to be upset about this issue and its great that you've tried to raise awareness but this is an early access title and that gives Epic a certain leeway with issues and their response time. It is acceptable that not all systems are going to work right, yes, even ones you've paid for - that is the caveat of Early Access, if you're uncomfortable with that, you shouldn't have bought in, having said that Epic have done a fantastic job of support with this Early Access title. Yes, this one specific issue they could been handled better, but again, they've said they are working on it and said that directory to you no less, their turn around and communication on almost every issue is practically an industry standard. How many hours of entertainment have you gotten since buying the Battle Pass? For me its been hundreds, that has made it such a fantastic value that the Xp bug effecting my friends and I is the most minor of complaints.
Whats not fine however is the hyperbole you use and the insults you throw at the development team that are clearly working hard, communicating well on almost all issues, and setting a damn fine precedent when it comes to Early Access and monetization of not just a free to play title but modern games in general makes you sound really rather childish, you need some perspective.
Now, not all fixed bugs are always listed in the patch notes, i'd recommend you test to see if its still there before continuing your outburst.

It was still there as of 2AM ET. My friends found out the hard way and were pissed it's been broken for two weeks.

Finally, took them long enough, he's just talking about the play with a friend challenge here but I still think that this problem is related to the other so in theory it should be fixed next week.
So, when do you reckon Blitz will hit? Also, another round of 50v50 before Season 3/Battle Pass 2?
The patch in question doesn't go live until tomorrow, but it appears it won't be fixed until next weeks 2.5.
Edit: And now we do have confirmation that the Xp bug and friend challenge is fixed in 2.5 with an Epic dev apologizing and stating that they were just more challenging to identify and fix than they'd anticipated.

Are you trying to grind to 100 or something? It would be really low on their radar because it has so little impact on the grand majority of players.
Seems like he's behind on reaching level 70 and trying to get levels to reach it faster? I'm just guessing tho.
I've got friends trying to make a sprint to the final tiers of the Battle Pass and play together to get more XP. It will have negatively affected them in a big way after not working for three weeks.
Yeah, but the tier levels are different from EXP levels. The stars (tier level EXP) you get from leveling are negligible compared to the stars you get from daily quests.

You're not the first one saying this. But I'm still asking myself in which world a 90% XP bonus every single round "has little to almost no impact".
No I'm not grinding to season level 100, I'm still trying to get to Level 70 in the Battle Pass, besides the daily challenges, leveling up the season level is the only way to get BP stars and if you play much, like 4+ hours daily, this actually has a huge impact to the battle pass level progression cause 5 season level ups, x1-x5 give you 9 BP stars already, if you do 5 more you already have 2 and a half whole battle pass level. Of course it goes significantly faster with a 90% bonus and since the grinding aspect of the Battle Pass is ridiculously high in general, you almost need this bonus to reach this if you don't find the time to at least do the daily challenges every single day.
Or, like some of my friends, if you don't have started on day one and just started later with the battle pass and more playing of Fortnite.
Than you also have people who don't want to reach 70 but maybe only 40 and maybe them just have started 3 weeks ago, the impact of this bonus is so, so much higher in low level where a 90% bonus alone can give you the level up and 1 BP star, so no matter how you turn it, it has a big impact.

Like I already said, don't forget the Level 5 and Level 10 stars, 5 stars every 5 level, 10 stars (one whole BP level) every 10 level. It just isn't that small.

You need 690 stars to max out the battle pass. You can only get 200 or so from leveling to 100. The XP required to go from 83 - 100 is the same as 1 - 83. Most people won't hit level 100. I max out the battle pass a week or so ago and I'm only season level 94....

Well, you can get a total of 22 tiers for EXP if you hit 100. That sounds like a lot, but the EXP curve is exponential. Interestingly, the maximum number of extra levels you could have gotten even if your EXP was doubled is 15. This is if you made it all the way to level 85 from 0, you missed out on 15 levels. It gets worse as you go down in EXP amount. If you got to level 10 you'd have made it to 16. 20 you've have made it to 32. At 30 you'd have made it to 44.
So you missed out on a max possible 15 levels, or two-three tiers total with your EXP loss. I'm sure someone at epic sat down and did the same math and decided that it wasn't that high of a priority.

It helped me a LOT to watch a few streamers play before I jumped in myself. I learned a little bit about where to find chests and some basic building strategies. Once I gave up PUBG, I was pretty knowledgeable of Fortnite and had a win in under 10 matches.
Doc is going in blind (seems like). So many things to learn. I felt like PUBG was a lot easier to pick up, honestly.

I finally have over 1,500 V Bucks from Save the World. Hopefully these Valentines skins will be that price.
On the screen for the Battle Pass it should say how many days are remaining in the top right corner.
If you do your daily challenges you'll be fine. Also i you look at the top on the battle pass page it tells you how much time is left in the season :P
Only had time for a couple games but got a quick reminder today of why I like this game so much, especially solos. Lots of sloppy building, movement, and shooting on my part tbh but still a fun fight. My excuse is that it was my first game of the day and my hands were freezing :P

Not a lot of game time, but since the week BR launched (I bought the deluxe version or whatever it was called: the first upgrade though, so the one after the standard version, not the ones with multiple copies of the game).
I've not played the game much, like I'm on the mission past the first storm defense, which is like a handful of missions in. Most of the V Bucks are from daily log in rewards (you can apparently get daily missions too, but I've not unlocked those yet), but last night I unlocked the collection book, where you can store items you get to fill up a sort of sticker book, and at level 6, which only requires putting about 8 or so things in, gives you 500 V Bucks.
The Storm defense missions give you 100 on your first go, and there seem to be a few of them going off the mission list in game.
I'm on day 67 of logging in now. On day 70 I get 150, same on day 77. Basically, you either get 150 V Bucks every week, or 300 every fortnight, just from logging in.
I would have a bit more, but I bought a few loot llamas before the cosmetic stuff was released for BR.
One of the login bonuses just after 100 days was 800 v-bucks, i was really quite happy. Look forward to that!

I feel like I have enough stuff from the deluxe edition to not have to bother with buying many more loot llamas, and I'm planning on upgrading during the next sale to get the two extra copies, so no doubt I'll get more good stuff then.

Playing Solo, down to the final 3, smallish circle is on the mansion in Loot Lake, 2 guys are fighting each other on the roof, I'm sitting in the lake at the base of the island, one guy gets killed as the circle is shrinking, the other guy jumps off the roof to escape the storm, lands right in front of me, dies on impact.
