I'm getting clobbered in this Kyoto track with the Gr4 cars. They're too fast at a lower SR level where people are overshooting turns or just being jerks. In fact all of these events are kinda bad for SR. Interlagos is very high skill, and Alsace is tricky plus has the tugboat TTS. They need to always include one SR haven event.
edit: whoa I just refreshed and they changed
N300 -- Nurburgring GP - 2 laps 12 cars (fixed: TTS)
Gr.4 -- Dragon Tail II -- 3 laps 16 cars (BoP)
Gr.3 -- Interlagos -- 10 laps 20 cars (BoP, fuel and tire wear)
Are you comparing them to other racing games? Because I do bot see any other racing game that loks as good.Whilst I appreciate the visuals in this game are excellent, it wasn't really impressing me the way I thought it would, till I switched off my HUD entirely and suddenly the game is a lot more realistic and visually appealing. It's crazy how much a HUD takes away from the realism of a scene.
You're not the only one.

wow really? ok, i don't agree, drive club has jaggies and is inconsistent. to each their own.Other games generally, but I still personally feel DriveClub looks better. The IQ might not be comparable, and obviously it runs at 30fps, but in motion to me it still looks and feels more realistic, CGI like and dynamic.
Won my first racing yesterday on Kyoto!
Somehow RNGesus puts me in a field where I was the pole position with a 0:40:735 (the race before this one I was 9th).
Despite being nervous as fuck the whole race, I was consistent all the time.

It's almost as if there are other increments of time between 1 day and 1 week that could possibly be some middle ground? PD already discovered the 25th hour in a day, surely they can discover this magical middle time frame!
I still can't get rumble to work with G27, dunno what I'm doing wrong. The DS4 actually gives me better feedback of the road than the wheel.
I don't think I'm playing until we get weeklies again. Right now there's ~20% of variance in qualification times, a higher degree of bad drivers on every track, and close to half the drivers don't finish the race. It's not fun.
This is me! lol....I'm still dreading going online, but I think by completing all the campaign it will boost my confidence, it's a decent learning tool.License done with all golds at 100%, drive test at 75% all gold, circuits test at 35% all gold.
No online race yet.
So does that patch note confirm. 3 Daily races 3 weekly weekly races?

Does controller sensitivity affect wheel sensitivity?did you try the settings from gtplanet? controller sensitivity 7, ffb torque 8, ffb sensitivity 2? With those I can feel the rumble strips a lot more, maybe not all of them but a lot more than with the default settings
"Patch notes:
- 3 additional races have been added to Sport mode. These events will rotate in a weekly basis"
Believe
I would've thought it wouldn't, but some posters on the gtplanet thread swear it does, I figured it wouldn't hurt to set it... I really like that combo for the G27 with drivehub
I don't understand why they felt the need to go to the complete opposite extreme that every event is now changed out daily. A middle ground seems far more sensible here. Have two events that go throughout the week, and one event that is daily. That seems like the perfect balance to me.
lol...good one
I get your justification, but that is what testers are for. We are paying customers, not paid testers. This game also had an extensive closed beta and then a open demo/beta. It took all of 45 seconds of logging in to the closed beta to arrive at the conclusion, "three daily races are not sufficient for the prime game mode of GTS" I expect my paycheck any day now from PD. This was also one of the top voted suggestions in their bug/feedback submission forum.I know if I had to convince my boss of something gathering data from the extreme ends would be the first step.
That's odd. Like no rumble when going over curbs, etc? Mine rattles like crazy over curbs but that's really the only time I get any 'rumble'. FFB works though.

PD really need to hire a community manager if they want the game to be successful long term as the messaging isn't clear enough for a GaaS.
