yep this game has no depth. Pros will get bored fast....

After checking the storage, it seems like the old data was completely erased when I chose that option. It sucks ass, but I'm not crying over it. I'll just speed-run the first arc in the story mode and re-do the combo challenges to get most of the Zeni I had earned back the next time I play.Wow, that's terrible. You should at least be able to restore your data from PS+ if you have it auto upload, right?
My game also crashed after I saved and trimmed a video, so I guess suspending it for video editing is a bad idea. Save data was fine though.
Yeah, the big weakness of Vegeta is how short his range is. It's really hard to punish dragon rushes with him because he's so short that his down+H launcher misses on block a lot. I get counter-smacked out of my own counters a LOT when I'm using him, which is not something that happens nearly as often with Hit or Yamcha.
Okay so I guess my only question so far is: Why is Adult Gohan not in super saiyan form? And I'm assuming there are more characters/costumes that I can unlock. This roster feels kinda small, no?

Don't play casual if you're a beginner and wanna fight others your level...
Also worth noting that I believe you can cancel block to super dash if you're blocking regular ki blasts. So if you fight someone who ends blockstrings with something like Vegeta's 5SSS, you can just blast through it and start your own combo.
oh cool, I'm basically using the same team as him (my 18 and Trunks are just flipped atm). I don't know squat about competitive team building in these games, so it's nice to see my picks in use by someone who knows what they're doing.

Whew. These loops.

lol, so he's a shitlord too? All I know is his name's familiar as a competitive/tourney player. Sure would be cool if there weren't so many dumpster fires in gaming.I used to like Chris G (pro player) before I found out bout his racist remarks. Be careful giving him money, etc unless you're down with that then it's on you I'm not judging you
I do like how he doesn't curse. So that's something...
Another plus he brings what he finds fun he doesn;t just stick to top tier (at least in mvc:i)
I too learned this the hard way. Had a way easier time in ranked (even though it still matched me up with people a few levels higher D: )

I mean, I got 17 wins and 30 losses. Just play and don't worry about it.That's what I have been doing in the past 3 days,
I'm having a rough time, 0 wins so far, so what would you suggest other than casual for a uber beginner?
edit: ok got the answer above, but it seems like bad to have on my record the losses.
When I finally get good I would want to have a decent rank and not like 1 win 300 losses.
Final Showdown from SRK posted them in his video just before official release:
After a j.S in the corner, you can link a flip into j.L, plus a lot of other stuff. His channel has some good combo videos showing routes and options for some characters (like Ginyu, Goku Black, etc.). Entirely solo too!

Yamcha's moveset isn't as complicated as it looks, actually. The little |_> icon means "follow-up". So basically, when you're using either of the two wolf fang fist variants (Square or Triangle), you can hit the buttons mentioned there as a follow-up attack. For example, if you do the triangle version of the attack, you'll teleport behind the person and hit them a bunch of times, and then if you hit O, you'll burn a super gauge to do the wolf fang Flash finish.
Basically, he kind of plays like Marth's Dancing Blade moveset from Smash Bros - you can follow up the basic input for Wolf Fang Fist with a number of different attacks to change up your attack style based on the buttons you hit during the animation.
Past that, he just has the Kamehameha and his wolf fang dragon punch. The sheer number of follow-up options he has makes him seem way more complicated than he actually is.
I blame WrassleEra for the temporary loss of my Robo avatar :(Clutch. Had to do a double-take on your avatar to make sure it was you, lack of Robo'
Takes time.I fuckin suck at this game , is it normal ? I tried a lot of matches (around 30) online but i get wrecked all times .
Fighting games take time and effort to get good at. Don't get discouraged just cause your getting bopped now, just use them as learning experiences.I fuckin suck at this game , is it normal ? I tried a lot of matches (around 30) online but i get wrecked all times .
Really? This is what I've been doing and I've been doing ok for myself.Don't play casual if you're a beginner and wanna fight others your level...
So is 2B a universal juggle starter? Seems allow a juggle on every character I've tried.
2B is 2M. Some anime games use ABC instead of LMH.Okay I know what the fuck is 2B? I know I'm new to this way of writing moves but I swear this is the first time I see 2B! We talking about Nier now?!
Unless you mean 2H since H is right above B. In which case, yes I think it launches the opponent up for everyone.
(I swear can we just write Down Heavy?)

Maybe B was wrong, but I mean down medium not heavy. I know heavy is a launcher, I'm talking about eh trip. I'm curious if everyone get a juggle off it, I assume so.

I'm scared of ranked...
