My order just shipped and despite the screen issues, I still want to give the phone a shot. 15 days and if I don't like it, I can return it. Blue tint doesn't worry me but the color issues do. From what I read tho, that can be fixed with sofware.

Well, I'm gonna try to get one. Stupid Google not selling it in 99% of the world (they did sell the Nexuses here in Sweden).

I was thinking about ordering one, but all the news about the screen has turned me off and reaffirmed my original decision to get the X. Screen issues with the Nexus 6 drove me crazy, not dealing with that again.

I got mine in the mail today. Not going to open or use it until I hear what Google's response is to the burn in issue. They've got a return window of 15 days from the day you receive it.

I got my Pixel 2 XL last Thursday. It's been great so far, no issues.
-Camera is as good as advertised.
-Screen is okay. I do understand why people may not like the coloring. I am watching the burn-in issues though.
-I find myself using the Active Edge feature a lot more than expected. Its quite handy when you want to set a quick reminder, etc.
-The vibration motor is also one of those under-stated good things.

I also picked up the fabric Google case for it which is actually pretty nice. It's not worth the $39.99 they are charging though. I get 25% off of accessories at Verizon through my employer so I took advantage of that.

I am. None of the screen issues are things that would bother me, though I guess burn-in would be a concern.

I'm still super happy with my Pixel XL that I got as a replacement for my Nexus 6P, though.

I've been extremely happy with my Pixel 2 XL. If they're going to do some sort of replacement for the screen, I'd even be happier!

I'm not quite extremely happy, but this is basically where I'm at with it. The camera is really impressive, and coming from my failing 6P, it's just so nice to have a new phone. The screen really is my one real flaw with the phone, and I think I can mostly live with the blue shift and I fully expect Google to give another color calibration option. There was an app posted to AndroidPolice that's supposed to bring the display's colors closer to other displays. I haven't tried it, as there are some complaints in the comments that it's negatively affecting performance.

My Verizon contract is up in June of next year so my plan is currently to get the Pixel 3. Hopefully the smaller version gets the bezel-less design next year.

I've got one on the way and I'll probably keep it. It should be a decent upgrade as far as battery life from my Pixel and that trade in deal is pretty nice.

I'm not. I thought about it, but decided to get the Note 8 instead. Samsung's fixed all of the issues I had with their previous phones. I really wish that Google would start selling these phones in stores other then Verizon. I know you can finance one through Google, but most people would prefer to get it through their carrier.

I might take a look at the Pixel 3 if it supports Band 71 next year, but we'll see.

This is the first phone I've bought since my iPhone 4S that isn't a Nexus or Pixel.

I've had mine for a week. The first couple days the color felt a little off, but now I am used to it and actually prefer it. The camera is amazing, and coming from a Nexus 6 it is so much faster.

The only disappointment I have is in the accessories. I can't find a good protective case or tempered glass screen protector that doesn't take a month to ship. But I guess that comes with a new phone. The case my wife got for hers is already starting to discolor.

I usually never use a case for my phones. I really dislike the bulk it adds. I might change that though since my last phone had literally fallen apart around the same day my Pixel 2XL was delivered. And the Pixel is so slim already that I cant even tell it's in my pocket at times. Adding some bulk might not be a bad thing.

This is the one I'm thinking about picking up

Been playing with mine all day and I really like it. Huge improvement over my Xperia Z3

I received mine yesterday, and I think I'm going to return it. My primary complaint is that it's too large for me, but the blue tint at off angles and dull colors aren't so hot either. Potential screen burn-in doesn't sound so good either. But yeah, I took a gamble upgrading to the XL model this time around and it was definitely a mistake regardless.

I haven't had any issues with that yet. but I think they've extended the warranties on all the phones in response and plan on doing something about the color issue.

Right now the screen doesn't bother me at all but if it could look better with no effort on my part then hey

I've got a panda
quack quack
ordered but it's probably not shipping until end of November.

I get the complaints even though a lot of reviewers make it seem like the 2 XL murdered their firstborn, but I'd rather judge for myself. And waiting so long gives googs time to do updates and that

Same for me. I ordered the clear case on Google's site. But i can see it doesn't protect the screen at all. It's not even low profile, the screen sticks out.

I had a clear case for the pixel 1xl and it still has a bump on the edge, so if it landed flat, you wouldn't crack your screen. Now, if it landed on a rock or an edge, you would be hosed.

But this case for the xl 2 is a disaster waiting to happen. And their tempered screen protector is still not in stock.

So i just ordered a fabric case and if that's not good, I'll get an otter box.

Got mine yesterday. So smooth coming from a Nexus 6. Played around with the camera a little bit and it's such an upgrade from what I was using before.

I have the regular Pixel 2 and I've loved it so far, except some sort of error where it keeps automatically changing my wallpaper.

I was thinking of getting the XL, but I have pretty small hands. How bad is it for the small handed? I tried it at the Verizon store but the giant brick on the back kinda makes it hard to evaluate.

Had my P2XL delivered on Weds. Didn't expect the blue tint issue to be a huge deal. Geez, was I wrong. At least the phone I got shows blue at the slightest angle. Tried to use it and see if I would get used to it but it ended up straining my eyes and giving me a headache. Called Google and have a replacement on the way. If this next phone isn't any better I'm asking for a refund. I really had high hopes for this phone.

Got my shipment notification. Mine will be here Monday. Fingers crossed that I get a unit without the burnin/poor blue tint angle.

This is why I am extremely worries about pulling the trigger. That and small hands

I may just got with the pixel 2. Anyone had an experience with it in terms of compared to the Nexus 5x, especially with regards to battery life. That is one thing I hate about my Nexus 5x.

I've owned iPhones for years but I like modern Android, some of the only exclusive iOS apps that I care about were chopped off in the removal of 32-bit support, and I'd like the option to mess with phone development without buying an Apple computer. So I've been considering going from my 6 Plus to an XL 2.

Haven't been able to pull the trigger yet. My fiancee is getting an X, so I'll probably wait until after I toy with that, idk.

I really really want one, but just dont want to pay out of pocket since im the type who changes phones often. Im with tmobile and have jump so Im not sure what I'll do, I just got the iphone 8 came from the OnePlus 5 and have a preorder on the 10 but I might sell it for profit then pay it off and buy an XL. I'm mainly an android guy but Im a huge tech guy first so I always try the new iphones.

anyone rocking a pixel 2XL now?
Got mine last night. The display is definitely a different tone than my Pixel, but I'm not having huge issues with burn in/ image retention or blue shift at this point. Really like the look and feel, but have to give it a few days before making any decisions.

My Nexus 6P is starting to shut down randomly, and I'm really thinking about switching to the regular Pixel 2. My co-worker has the 2XL and i'm not sure I like the look of the curved edge bezels and the pricing. I guess I'll wait until the OnePlus 5T and HTC U11 Plus are announced.

I would have got one, but I'm not done paying off my Pixel XL yet and can't really justify the upgrade. Pixel 1 is still fantastic, although I got some burn in on the bottom home button bar a few weeks ago. Oh well.

My coworker is and she loves it aside from the size. She doesn't mind the blue tint and hasn't had any burn in or screen retention issues yet. She does miss iMessage a bit.

I'm rocking the Pixel 2 and coming from a Nexus 5X I have no complaints.
