I still have no AT-AT. Not even the micro fighter. :(

Still kicking myself for not getting the 2012 or 13 version, whichever it was.

Now just holding out for UCS version and stopping at that.

The only LEGO set I kept from my childhood is the Dark Side Developer Kit, which is the only AT-AT I've ever had.

At least it can walk! (even if it doesn't look as good as the dedicated AT-AT's)

= based on this Forbes article https://www.forbes.com/sites/luketh...reveals-60th-anniversary-sets/2/#3cd7b8825b9d
there will be 2 collectible retro sets in Walmart in US, no info for Europe (yet)
Also there is repackaged Classic 10715 and the receipt should get you a retro building instructions when registering online, poster was put up probably too soon as the page is not up

That may make me buy the wheel before it's retired... Many are perfect character to buy a theme park. With the carrousel, the upcoming coaster and the friends sets...

It's just... I don't have any spare room!

That is my problem. The Expert Fair sets have an huge footprint. And I already missed the mixer. I have to let it go (argh it will be hard to resist the rollercoaster)

Whoooooa. Getting so many of those. Some just for the collectability of them (the brick guys) and some for awesome parts. Also, I'll be getting a ton of those dragon guys, I loved that design.

The 60th anniversary sets are... meh. If they remade the 2x2 windows in the original mold though, they would have been amazing. I'll pick up the freebie on Februari 1st but there really should be something like Town Plan this year.

I ended up buying King's Mech and Tech Wizard Showdown, because I guess I need two lego mechs? They both look rad, and I think I got them for decent-ish prices.

Oh no. I watched the Lego Ninjago Movie last night and I want all of the mechs. Well, the Green Ninja, Red Ninja, and Black Ninjas anyway.

I have like a million black figure plates even after covering all my roads with them. I welcome orange ones, they will be amazing for rooftiles.

Hey, I'm not the only one buying Nexo Knights sets? Wow! Kidding aside, Tech Wizard is a great set. I'm about to pull the trigger on a King's Mech too.

order U-Wing on eBay, said factory sealed but there was type over the LEGO tape at the end. I opened it up and 5 bags, instructions, and stickers are there. All the bags seem sealed and I see all the minifigs...but feel like I need to build it immediately to make sure it is all there. I am worried and don't want to wait 5 months and see that it is missing something.

Anything else in that set that someone might try to take? or am I over-worrying cause it is eBay?

I'd check the seller feedback. If it's a high number I wouldn't worry. Or just build it. Heard it's a great set.

Toys R Us still has minigures at 2 for $5 though they do put a limit of 8 per purchase.

I ended up getting the entire LEGO Batman Movie Series 2 minifigures.

I ended up at checkout a few times to get everything.

Does anyone know if/when they're doing "pre-orders" for the 60th anniversary stuff?

Or is just going to be order when released?

Hmmm maybe if i start planning halloween and christmas MOCs now I'll actually do them this year.

Silent Hill-ifying my modulars for halloween and Winter Village HIllside for next christmas, I'm thinking.

Or maybe I should pick something not seasonal and plan to assemble it by like june. I guess I'm only gonna get new regular castle/kingdom sets if i make some myself, and I definitely have some ideas...

the point is that I wanna move from hoarding things to getting creative.

People expect stock to be THAT bad fir the giveway?

Also, one per order or one per household?

Better safe than sorry in my experience.

Stock with LEGO stuff always seems so hard to call. Like I bought Saturn V pretty early on (ordered it early from B&N) but it was (and maybe still is) hard to find easily.

Giveaways I really want I always make sure to do it as soon as possible since there's rarely giveaways I find worth it. Last one I made sure to get early was the Revan minifig from KOTOR.

What time of the day does shop.lego usually update the giveaway sets? Midnight eastern time?

In the US , 9pm PST Saturday Night before the day in the promo which makes it 12 am (the day of the promo) EST I believe.

I just used my accumulated lego points from last year to get Assembly Square for 160 usd including tax and get the 60th anniversary promo.
feels good to use the points for something so significant, and not have to worry about forgetting I had them as I usually only buy direct from lego when special promos I am interested in are available.

Haha, I was at the gym and nearly forgot about this tonight, haha.

Ordered the Winter Train (little pricey for the piece count, but my fiance and I love using LEGO as Christmas decorations and this will be our first full holiday set, plus the set seems like it doesn't have too much longer until retirement), Women of NASA, and Wonder Woman Brickhead.

Still had a giftcard from Christmas that covered half of it so bad a bad little haul! But I'll be moving in the next month so I doubt I'll even take them out of the delivery box until March at the earliest.

I know complaining about Lego's online store is a common topic, but MAN their website is so bad it always baffles me.

Trying to place a big order right now to get the 60 years freebie, and TWICE now I've gotten most of the way through ordering only for it to kick me back to the main page with the message "Sorry your checkout time expired, but you can go back to your bag and checkout again! :)"

I'm not pausing or anything in the process of all this, it's so annoying. Especially when you're putting all your sensitive info in, cashing in points, etc. This better not order me 3 of everything.

It really is one of the worst sites I frequently visit.

I can't count how many times I've wanted to just browse through sets by theme, I go to change theme, and it just doesn't load the next theme. I have to refresh probably every other time I do that.

Okay, the third time was in fact the charm.

60 years freebie is mine, along with Assembly Square, finally! I had $45 in VIP points to cash in, so that was nice too.

I'm getting Ahch-To and the bottle for the promo, but I need slightly above $10 more to qualify. I'm sort of looking for a few more sets but basically just for a part or two, and it feels like a huge waste. Then again it's also a waste to buy something I don't actually want just because it takes me right over the limit.

Maybe shouldn't have impulse bought the Mulan and Lobo sets recently :D

I locked in the promo set by getting the LEGO Technic Ocean Explorer and a smaller set. Now to figure out how to get those Walmart exclusive sets.

Is stock potentially so bad that I should consider ordering something now, then ordering my real stuff when ship in a bottle comes out and returning the original order?

Bought the diner (had $40 in points) to get the anniversary promo. I was thinking that I should have wait to get the free flower together, but I don't want to miss the anniversary set if it is sold out. I may place another order to get the flower. The anniversary set limit is just one per household? I can place it again in the basket but I am not sure if the second order will go through.

It's price before points usage right? I have £40 saved up so I only need to pay £60 (£100-40)?

The system placed the promo in your basket as soon as you place an item over $125. I guess it won't remove the item if you use points after that step. The text only says that you have to spend $125 before shipping and taxes.
