Has anyone found any interesting Gotenks stuff online? I've been searching youtube but all I can find is pre-launch stuff.
If it weren't for the fanservice-y writing the story mode would be absolute cheeks. Why do we have to grind our way through dozens, if not hundreds of battles with an AI that doesn't even wake up until near the end of the second arc? What's the point of the RPG stuff when it never matters once the battle actually starts and you're steamrolling through the battle? Why does nothing fucking happen in the third arc for several maps in a row? I'd have ignored this shit completely, but they lock one, and only one, character behind the very end of the game, so if you don't want an incomplete roster you're going to be in for an absolute grind. I'm surprised I'm not seeing more salt about this.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of localization taking so many liberties here. There was part were Yamcha was praying to "Kami", and I heard Piccolo say something in Japanese like "Kami? You must be talking about Dende...", but the translation in English was "I see why Bulma chose Vegeta" or something like that.
Yeah, if it only happened once or twice it wouldn't bother me much but it happens pretty often and it gets really distracting.
The robot wives have needs is another big one, Goku doesn't say anything like that at all.
is there really no way to turn off the Auto Combos? Been looking everywhere and it looks like there isnt an option which is a bummer. Im not the most advanced player but im not a novice either. Would really like to turn this off so I can actually learn the combos myself instead of accidentally hitting an auto combo.
configure it as a generic controller via steam, it'll work fine after that

The traditional one is carved into my soul so I probably won't do this alternate method but it might be helpful for the influx of new players to anime fighters.

there are moves in the middle of the auto combos that cannot be done otherwise
if you could turn off autocombos, you would end up with a lot less options
it seems the best combos will be at least part autocombo, so it's not like there's nothing to learn
I took two extra zeni bonuses and did all the extra fights I could find. you want the money to buy capsules
experience doesn't seem to matter too much. got to the final boss of the first arc, it had 16 levels on me, and barely 20% more hp than one of my chars
I'm having an odd issue on PC where I can't save the graphical settings. I change them and they stay changed while I play, then I go back to the main menu, quit normally, and when open the game again, they've reverted back. This started happening after a certain point, and the options always reverted to what I had at the time, so I decided to delete the config.sav file from the corresponsing AppData folder. This has reverted them to the default, but I have the same issue, any changes I make are reverted on game exit and reload.
I'm guessing nobody else is experiencing this? I'm googling around and finding nothing...

nope. all I hit is that once I entered the lobby my controller stopped working (even tho I choose "start game" with it), and that was fixed with restarting the game
Actually pulling off these trials and loving it really. All these other fighting games have some insane combo trials that sure, I'd probably eventually pull off if I tried long enough but this game I can just do them after a bit and then get into exactly what I need to use for the characters that I play than learning mega-combos. It's dope.
Damn, this game looks like it might be too complicated for me. I might need to stick to Tekken, but this looks so fun. I couldn't figure out how people were doing jump cancels in the beta and they seem essential for this.
Yeah I guess the zeni bonus is a good idea, it's just that the story mode is kind of boring and never wants to end lol

1st story was alright
2nd sory was pretty entertaining due to the characters it focused on and their interactions
3rd story was pretty cool, I liked how

Lobby gotta go, or let us select local Battle or arena batte from a menu without a lobby. I really appreciate the single player being as lengthy as it is personally, it's something to do in the mean time and needed for a audience who might not just like constantly fighting.
The only problem is that player matches aren't working correctly at the moment. Everything else is working brilliantly.
Buy, it has issues but so does every game. It's not TOO bad.

That doesn't make any sense.
I mean, if you've been playing tekken for years, tekken 7 isn't a very hard game to play. He could very well be use to tekken, while learning a brand new game can be daunting.
Still aren't working on PS4 for me. Anyone on PC know if they've been fixed there yet? Was going to double dip to help a few of my pc friends learn how to play but if they don't work it's a moot point.
I'm guessing the "No Rooms Found" is a problem most people are having as well?

Jump cancels are easy. You're literally just pressing upforward + normal. The near universal jump cancel combo is (Light starter), Down + M, Standing + M, UpForward + L

Try using L1, it's essentially a menu select that just warps you to the locations. You can completely ignore walking through the HUB this way.
Hey guys just started the game. Did up to chapter six in story and some training. Went into ranked and got my ass handed to me... I'm doing OK in other fighters, gold in sfv, but never played one like this. It's so chaotic even more so than smash four players and items on lol.
The training seems to leave out some stuff? Is there a good guide on the basics of the game and some more advanced stuff? Saw some comments here about jump cancel for example.
And is there a good place to look up character specific stuff? I'm thinking of going Trunks, Kid Buu and Hit but I have no idea if that team even works and how to use them as assists and such. Appreciate it!
