I'm watching Sky Force Anniversary videos to make up my mind, and the game is beautiful but at the same time it makes it kinda hard to read. Somebody else has the same feeling ?
It may be different while your playing it yourself...

I play it now on Vita and it's awesome, no problem with seeing and dodging stuff.

Got both games. Surprised Sky Force went quicker than Croixleur.

Oddly, Vita version of Sky Force sold (slightly) slower than PS4 despite less copies being made, while Croixleur seems neck and neck with copies exactly the same.

I took it eventually (on PS4). Thanks for your opinion, I was right in feeling it was maybe related to the videos, then :)

These days it's always neck and neck for a while, then the PS4 version goes ahead. It's probably more obvious with bigger releases (and also why LRG is getting more and more coldfeet about publishing on Vita)

I bought both, but I'm reaching the breaking point, too.
Not sure how much more of this I'm willing to take.

UPDATE: My bad, that's the review score of the PC version, while the PS4 version is sitting at 71.

Grabbed Croixleur Sigma for Vita. Would have liked to get both but unfortunately the money's just not there right now. I already have Sky Force digitally so I figured I'd go for the game I haven't played yet.

If you want us to support an act of addiction, you're in the wrong place :3
I think most of us here are picking only games they're interested in now (I may be wrong but that's the impression I'm on) so you should think about that instead of instantly regretting your purchases.

Oh please, why are you citing the PC score? That version has like half as much content as the PS ports. PS4 has a 71 Metacritic.
On the French website I use to visit, it's sitting at 4.5/10 ^^

I have bought both too, but in any release have felt this before, I have doubted many many times before grabbing the games, I don't want to regret losing the complete set but at the same time I think it's too much.

Sure, but my point was that with less copies available for it I'd be expecting Sky Force Vita to be neck and neck with the PS4 version, not Croixleur where the amount of copies are exactly the same.

(LRG have been reducing the number of copies of their Vita versions lately, this is the first one that's been the same and it's actually selling faster on Vita. Lesson = it depends on the game, not "Vita games sell slower"?)

Not that it matters too much anyway I guess, since everything will sell out with time, but it's nice to see after the doom over the last few pages that Vita releases continue to perform well.

Both Croixleur Sigma are around 5% now, around mn 27.

Oh, right. Well, Croixleur Sigma strikes me as a typical Vita Asian game, so I'm not surprised the genre sells well on this system.

I have started thinking on giving up buying all releases... today is another +100$ day and the releases just don't stop and it's starting to feel very difficult to justify it. It's sad after buying everything but almost 400$ a month is just crazy, and even though they tell releases will slow down I never see that day.

At this point unless you're really into playing every game on multiple platforms then keeping a complete collection seems pretty crazy, the release schedule is only going to get busier and there's even Switch games on the way, the cost of keeping up with that is pretty high. I'm still ok picking up the Vita games but I've pretty much dropped PS4 releases now unless it's a standalone release of something I'm interested in.

if we're being honest here, most of the time with anime/japanese games the metacritic score doesn't really matter because they always seem to score low like wiht the neptunia games i really enjoy them but they have metacritic scores of 40-50

There's going to be a set of people who enjoy the heck out of them. But they will make everyone else cringe and feel embarrassed for watching a Youtube video of the game.

On the contrary, I'd say anime/japanese game fans are super devoted (no offense here) and more often than not tend to offset the bad reviews with generous grades. Especially since there aren't that many bad reviews in the first place, the general public not playing these games much. So I often felt that the Metacritic averages for these games were inflated somehow. You can't say Croixleur Sigma scores low. Neptunia Rebirth 1 has 7.2 as of now on Vita, more on PC. Megadimension Nep VII has 7.3. Etc. These are GREAT scores.

Of course that's just us having opinions here ^^

I was really interested in CS, but after finding out it was pretty much a budget one-room battler with little story, I decided to pass. I want to spend more time focusing on games with good stories this year and not get caught up playing every average indie that's thrown at me.

Still picked up Sky Force! Can't resist a good shootemup.

Finally received my Windjammers LE for PS4 today. Got a blue frisbee, was hoping for a pink one.

Got my Windjammers order (LE and both regular editions) this afternoon. Easily my favorite LRG release yet! Love the packaging and color choices. I don't want to open the LE box I got and noticed a small hole in the shrinkwrapping. My OCD is killing me here, lol.

So are Croixleur Sigma and Sky Force Anniversary already pressed and ready to go? Sorry I haven't purchased from LRG since the manufacturing delays. I'm not sure where to confirm this.

Hopefully with people receiving Windjammers CE my held order will be shipping soon, it's the one thing that has been holding the whole shipment back.

Round 2 update: both of the Croixleur soundtrack bundles have gone, as has Sky Force PS4.

Remaining stock as of five past the hour:
Sky Force Vita: 334
Croixleur Vita: 351
Croixleur PS4: 306

I am surprised how quickly Sky Force has sold, particularly the PS4 version.

I was a bit worried that I'd miss out on Sky Force Anniversary given the reports of a fast sell out this morning but I managed to get a PS4 copy! I played it for free when it was on PS+ and I enjoyed it well enough. Thanks for making it happen, LRG. Hoping for Sky Force Reloaded eventually too.

It is getting a release at some point. It was reported on a few months ago.

Sky Force selling that quick actually makes sense. It's a vertical shooter, and the developer is excellent at community relations. Put those together and 3,000 was a highly conservative print run.

Not quite as fast in the evening batch huh? Sky Force PS4 beat Vita again (it'll be gone entirely in the next half hour or so); Croixleur is still going fairly evenly between the two.

Nice to see!
