PS4 version is great; I assume the XB1 version is comparable.
You can configure it so that you have 6 face buttons + 4 shoulder buttons (e.g. mapping L3/R3 stick clicks to shoulders) for lots of shortcut options.
A friend found a place selling early standard copies but by some miracle decided to send my pre ordered one so it arrives tomorrow morning, and it includes the blue unlocks, lobby avatars and a Goku figure so I think it's worth it. Can't wait!

Yea, I honestly could see the meta to switching out characters as much as possible. The amount of life regained when sidelined I think is the most I've ever seen in a tag game, but I've only really played Marvel tag games.

I did see this video where those 2 unlocks don't actually look that bad if you do the story, and some single player stuff like combo challenges and playing arcade.
He said it took him about 2 days.
While I'm counting down the hours for Monster Hunter World (8.5 hours), the funny thing is that I can actually grab DBFZ from Gamestop an hour earlier. I'm in hopes that I can get it installed and play a few rounds before MHW starts the install or does the preload or whatever.
Don't know how much time I'll dump into DBFZ (let alone if I'll get the season pass), but I can't wait to get my hands on this one too!

Honestly if this works as well as we know this is going to work, I wouldn't be shocked if ASW gets more deals to do more 2D anime-styled fighting games. One Piece though would be a great choice (alongside with the Jojo).

If not go find a tutorial video quick on YT, and learn the basic mechanics at least. Auto combo can get you far. Knowing how to do a beam if you are full screen, knowing how to spend your meter, quick recovery, and then also learn how to teleport behind someone hitting triangle and circle at same time if you have one bar. Oh and tagging out mid combo or whenever you need it to keep shuffling folks to stay alive. Assists are key too.
Odds are there will be 1 killer there, and the rest of you guys are all casual fighting game dudes. Block a lot, and then smash square when you get the chance will get you far.
One Piece and Naruto+Boruto will probably be guaranteed at some point.
Then Shonen Jump: Cross Tag Battle.
Stare down each and every opponent before the match and show no fear.
If they can start a thing with this, it will %1000 be with Naruto first

Well, that's more on Bandai Namco who is the one with the license of a bunch of animes/manga than with Arc Systems. If they see a success with DBFZ, maybe they'll try it with other franchises.

Man why the hell even let us pre-order on steam if you can't pre-download and you can't even get the game until noon I should have just bought it tomorrow when I get paid.
