I know, but it's really just setting up something, presumably bigger. It felt disappointing after the long wait.
I was happy with it. Granted I'm currently on a reread so it's not like I don't have material to go through. The art was worth it any way.
The Korean scans for chapter 353 are out! Brace yourselves my friends! The chapter is AMAZING! The last page instantly gave me goosebumps!
The overall gorgeous quality of the art! Femto's creepy eye reveal! The sudden appearance of Flora! CASCA'S BABY! Sensory overload! SEND HELP!
I won't look...but is it amazing for the art or the story developments (or both)?

I'm reading volume 27...this shit's too good. The anime didn't adapt this because quite frankly a couple of their computers would've exploded just trying to animate Locus' apostle form. I love how he just merges with his horse, Ludwig from Bloodborne would be proud. The funniest thing is that Miura had to draw Griffith even girlier for Charlotte's depictions of him. Is it wrong that Charlotte knitting fan art of Griffith is one of my favorite reveals?
I love how Flora appears in the dream, just like how she told Schierke she would. I'm surprised I didn't see it coming!
I also really love how she appears from within Schierke's hat, which obviously means a lot to her as her hat and clothes were handmade by Flora and she visibly gets upset when Isidro knocks it off her head all the way back in Vritannis.
It's all the little details and references everywhere that makes me adore Miura. He truly is a visionary, master storyteller.

Do you have a link to that image of Guts and the Armor in the forest? I always wanted to ask because it really makes a good background.
That's a negative. Generally speaking though the first translation of newly released Berserk chapters are hilariously terrible, so it's better to wait for the second and more proper fan translation.
I would laugh my ass off if I ever came across a modern translation that still called Guts "Gattsu."

I don't know why you guys are waiting for a translation. These recent chapters are more about the imagery and they hardly have any dialogue. You're going to know what's going on by just looking at this chapter.

Oh I agree. I always cave in and read the early Korean scans, but I still always read the English translations too.
