Sounds like Heist is next then! Huber and heist sounds great.
Did the guest that was on White Hole ever make a return? He was really good.

I feel like Ben has talked so much about DB Fighters and MHW these past few months that it's gotten kind if annoying. I liked the frame traps where they talked about more games, or maybe none of them really played many games these past two weeks.
Not as much as I hoped but I found some on Twitter. Maybe the Community Showcase will have some more good stuff?
Jones has been super consistent with getting Cup of Jones out recently
For me the problem is that if they want to talk about a game before release they should do it in a preview. I can only imagine MHW becoming a topic yet again next frame trap and the segment be probably equally as long, same for DBFZ. Or maybe I'm just wishing back for the 4 people format
I really like Cup of Jones live.
When did that change take place?
I really hope MHW is decent playing single player, none of my friends will be getting it lol
Does anyone miss the old 4 person frametraps? I feel like they should rotate the formats do 3 people some times and 4 people other times

wow.. a lot has happened since I took a break. Why was the official EZA discord shut down?
Not shut down, just made "unofficial" (unless I missed a shutdown somewhere).
I think that at a certain point, the Allies realized they didn't have the time to properly monitor and manage all the various communities that popped up on various social media platforms. So they picked a few that they had time for (their Twitter, Facebook, forums, etc.) and asked for all the rest to be unofficial.Ah well what made the change?
Was it just too hard to mod? Just curious is all. Not a huge deal if they never gave an answer

Next update on the 1st of FebruarySpeaking of Box Peek, does anybody remember when Kyle said he'd next give an update?
Kyle's shows are always great.

I both do and don't miss it. I miss it because I feel like they talk about less games now, especially smaller games. But I don't miss it because it did feel like during some of those segments, not everyone could feel involved in the conversation and on video that looked weird. I'm fine with the format as it is now, but I tend to skip around and only watch the segments about games I care about. Can't even remember of the last episode where I listened to/watched the whole thing.Does anyone miss the old 4 person frametraps? Ah, I was not aware the Kinda Funny tried doing an animated series. I can definitely see how that would be pretty difficult to pull off, especially with everything else the Allies have to do already. I do really hope they continue to revisit Reindeer Academy in some way in the future though, the concept is just too funny!
Oh man lol! Yes! St. Nicholas and Krampus definitely need to get worked into the lore somehow haha! God there is so much potential for Reindeer Academy, it's incredible.I tweeted more to them. With Santa being the main villain, I pointed out that Santa can be an anagram for something far more HELLISH.
I mean, Santa's all about that red!
I also said it would be cool if the good guys at one point had to find the "first Santa" St. Nicholas, which would lead to an epic showdown of good verses evil.
I did not bring this up, but Krampus should also factor in to the series.
Basically I liked FrameTrap when it was a speed dating kind of thing, to keep up with the Allies, each bringing up a list of games, big or small, in quicker successions. And then go for the in depth discussion with the Hottake.
I guess that's what it was for me and I loved it. "Catching up with 4 allies" was more enticing to me than "let's talk about this big game for 40 minutes but it's mostly Ben because he has to do so much to keep this engaging" I suppose. And let's face it, you still get lenghty monologues, like when they talked about Divinity. That's never what frametrap was though. It was often times one of the allies practically monologing for half an hour or more about the games they had played while the other day there disinterested or vaguely engages depending upon there interest in the games being discussed. Frametrap turned into a very bloated show that was hard to manage because you don't want to tell someone to stop talking but at the same time if everybody's checked out, maybe that person should stop talking. Hence the switch to talking about games so that each ally has a chance to chime in even if they are uninterested in the game they don't have to wait long before a game comes up that they are interested im/knowledgeable enough to talk about.
I just had an weird idea.
Remember Brandon's fitness stream?
... what if the committee selected a EZA group fitness stream? Would they do it?

I think we just have to agree to disagree here. We definitely still get lengthy monologues, just less of them I suppose.I guess that's what it was for me and I loved it. I understand the appeal of each format, even though I preferred the earlier one. It used to be a loose "What are you playing" discussion, and now it's a roundhouse discussion of set games.
I'd say the way the games are brought up and talked about changed a lot though. Also, they're only 3 now, so less diversity.Maybe I'm not understanding the format change but as far as I'm aware now everybody just tells Ben the games they want to talk about before they start streaming and Ben writes them down. No games are getting left off the list and frequently people have a "wait I forgot to mention..." game that they tack on at some point anyways.
I too prefered the old Frame Trap, mostly because I loved the way the Allies would bring up random guys in their "what you've been playing" segment. I wouldn't even look at the timecodes, just to keep some kind of surprise in a weird way.
Now it's much more formal, it's Ben bringing up the games (which I know doesn't really matter, but it does change the vibe) and the discussionsare longer, which tends to make me check out when the game doesn't 100% interest me. Also since the discussions are longer, Ben has to talk so much to keep it focused, he tries to rephrase what the others are saying, find some threads to follow, which kind of hinders the flow. It's not at all a criticism to Ben, but it's the nature of the beast I guess.

Yup. These no-gimmicks stream are nice to have from time to time. Just the allies playing something for two hours and that's all.
