Hahaha, I feel bad about it cause he's at SA 2 (fed him a STR SSJ2 Vegeta at one point), and I had to use battlefield medals to Dokkan him, so that's some gems/medals down the drain. But fuck it, that's all the push I need. Eat good rage Geets.
Rageta is 100% worth it, too. I only have him at SA4 and he's just getting stronger and stronger with each SA level I give him. Especially since I have his bottom right path open, so every SA level he gets means more orb nodes for me to open.
I reallllly wish I had 1 dupe of him at least so I could open that path. I got him as the GSSR on my first multi, and I'm not tryin to pull again if I can help it. Only have 29 stones right now and I'm really stickin to not to fleetingly spending money in this game anymore after I spent way too much on the UI Goku banner. New year's resolution lol.
It just makes it so tough to decide on investing in him too much though because of them not being clear if he's going to be exclusive to this banner or not. I want to get him to SA 10 (got plenty of kais but I may try my chances on a few 50% AGL Geets and Bulmas), but that will be a lot more worth it with at least 1 dupe. If he's going to be in the standard SSR pool from now on as unfeatured, then hell yeah I'll do it cause dupes will probably come one day. But if this is a SSJKK/Pikkon situation, I may never have another chance at a dupe again. These "special" cards are awesome, but they need to tell us if they're going to come back around or not. It's dumb that certain cards are just as exclusive as Dokkan fest cards if not more so, but they don't mark them as such.
My gut impression is that he's going to basically be like Super Kaioken / STR Pikkon and not come back until (IF) that event comes back around. Rageta doesn't feel like a unit they're going to leave in the pool since he NEEDS these specific event medals to evolve and if you were to pull him after this event ended you basically can't use him.
So I'm going to bank on Rageta being a super-limited unit and NOT a general pool SSR like Cauli and Kale.
What gives me hope is that this event is marked as "Story" where as the SSJKK/Pikkon event was marked as "Special". So hopefully that means the story missions will rotate in again after a while like any other story stuff. That might make it more reasonable in making him part of the standard pool, as you may not be able to Dokkan him at the time you get him, but you can once it comes back around. Similar to something like the Father/Son Trunks/Vegeta.
The bigger problem here is once again it's just dumb that they don't make this stuff more clear except for Dokkan Fest exclusives. I'm gonna try my best to hold onto my stones, get him to SA10, and pray he's in future banners, whether part of the standard pool or on another featured banner. It wouldn't be as much of an issue if he was straight farmable, but dumping kais into a unit I might not be able to get any more dupes for might not be the best idea. And that grind is fucking ridiculous. I'm gonna probably give a couple of AGL Vegeta/Bulma 50%s a shot, but I can't see myself getting him all the way to SA10 that way. First one that fails I'm gonna be out.
I'm at the very least going to feed him the two Pudding Kais. That'll get mine up to SA6, which means I have a decent shot at finishing him without another set of summons.
With the pudding kais, I'll have 15 kais in my box. And I've got I think 5 more waiting for me in baba's gem shop, and 3 more that I can buy with supreme kai stones (but I'm waiting to see what all I'm gonna need to complete LR VB). I'm just so stingy, lol, and I don't know if I wanna give him the kais/orbs if I don't have any other chances at dupes. Damn game.
Not sure why it would be? People say to go with AA for Super Gogeta because he ignores type, which would normally be one of the benefits of crits - but I could swear I've seen someone crunch the numbers and find that crit still has better damage output even then. Anyway, Rage Vegeta doesn't have any such overlap, right?
The greatly increase attack for 1 turn facet of his Super Attack. It would stack I would think.
I think you'll have to look at number crunchers on the Dokkan reddit.

Unless the super attack buff is extremely huge, there is no reason to go AA (except Gogeta & LRTrunks)

Yeah, I like putting AA on certain cards that can stack stats on SA, but with rage geets having counters, crit is definitely the way to go. Plus his stack is only for 1 turn, so at most you're only gonna get one additional stack for that turn only. And that's IF you get a SA out of the AA.
Lol this card is fucking nuts. It's almost easy to forget he has counters cause he has so much. Like it's so good that I feel like Bamco is fucking with us. Like it's somehow not going to be that great in the long run or something. Maybe cause of categories. He don't have one yet, and they may never give him one to fuck with him. It's just hard to believe a non-dokkan fest card is this good and will stick around.

You could reroll for LRs since there are some banners with them and some great units in them (the Beerus and Vegeta banner has LRs and SSJ2 Vegeta is amazing in this game). The game does favour LRs since the meta wants them in the categories team.
If possible, start the account with Broly and get the new RageVegeta.
You will start with good mono-STR team, and able to play World Tournament easily.
but the way to awaken the LR Broly will take a while.
Or maybe start with LR Gohan

Yeah, If you want to have peace of mind for a while a LR is your best bet (good leaders).
You are not tied to anything so you could reroll endlessly.
I think when it comes to this banner LR Broly + SSJ2 Vegeta and Bulma would be your best outcome.
You missed new player friendly banner of Ultra Instinct Goku which was perfect for rerollers but on the other hand you have that beautiful >1% of getting LR in this one.
If your rerolling, then yeah reroll until you get LR but other than that no even on their banner it's incredibly hard.
Yep if you need the units go for Broly, Goku Black and day of destiny SSJ teen Gohan. Those are the LRs and try to get Determined to fight back Vegeta, he is really good.
I'm so confused about LR units appearing in this Beerus/Vegeta banner, because it doesn't state that in the news announcement for it, or show them in the featured units. I assume they show up on the long-as-hell character list?

They're on the list but at the bottom. This is not the first time (hell the universe 6 banner has the LRs in them), every non dokkan fest banner has LRs but their rates are abysmal.
Yes, they're in the character list, not featured. They're in pretty much all (if not all?) non Dokkan Festival banners, like the Caulifla and Kale banner, type specific banners (LR Goku Black is on the current TEQ one) etc. But they're never on Dokkan Festival banners.
They're also in the universe 6 banner! Basically, most non-Dokkan banners tend to have them as super low chances.
So my wife just pulled LR Majin Vegeta on a single summon from Universe 6 banner. I've never been more jealous. We are f2p by the way.
Horrible luck, I did two multi summons (50 stones each...) and didn't get Tien like I was wanting. Fuck lol.
Got all the paths open for AGL SSJ2 Vegeta and Bulma. Not gonna invest orbs yet though. Obviously they are going to be the MVP for LR Frieza in the future, but honestly don't even think they'll need the orbs to do that. It's a really strong card just with it's base stats and passive for that event.
I decided to farm up 1 more to UR to attempt the 50% chance SA raise for the STR one. Told myself if it went through I'd try again, but if it failed no way. It failed. Fuck that shit so hard, used 5 more kais and he's at SA 10 now. What a dumb grind. A dragon stone for a stamina refill and an Elder Kai medal completely wasted.

So I've been doing some reading and apparently JPN Dokkan last year gave a shit ton of stones for the anniversary of the game? Any chance of that happening again?
Got my Vegito to SA 10 and I only had to use 1 stone (and a dupe INT and TEQ Vegito).
Now to wait for the final Vegito to 100% him.
How many stones did they get, was the second anniversary for JP Gogeta and Omega shenron?
We probably get a similar amount of stones (but never the 300, they'd have to fuck up royally again), or better.
