It might be connection related. My connection usually sucks due to the internet in my house being absolute garbage.

Apparently they lowered the gold amounts you can earn weekly by quite a bit based on a reddit post I saw.

In "Battle Rewards" before the update of 15th January you had to play 6 games a day and you could get 680 gold a day for that plus the daily 100g for being over 96 in credibility, 5460g a week.
Now for playing 4 games a day you get 370g. They added weekly rewards, if you play 30 games 840g + 20% if you have above 96 credibility score. So weekly you will get the most (370*7)+1008=3598g
Resuming you will get 1862 gold less a week for doing all the battle rewards in a week.

So mad! Had a ranked win streak going and was about to go to the next Platinum rank. Then 2 players go afk over who gets mid. I feel like Platinum has been more toxic than any other rank I have been in so far.
The higher rank you get the more toxicity you will encounter. I mean usually. Although I feel like on other MOBA games it tends to be that way other than the lowest rank as for some reason all the smurfs and angry people are in the low rank so you do encounter some crazy toxicity there. But the higher rank games you go into the more people expect you to play on par with the best players, so if you make a mistake people get mad and go afk or people go feed. It's stupid.

Why does no one go mid? In league usually people are fighting to be mid, here people just run off to top/bot straight away in pairs. Am I missing some way to choose your lane before the match starts? Every single match I've played I ended up in mid because otherwise it would have just been left empty, it's really annoying.

Weird usually I'm stuck top no matter what. It's usually two people running mid or two jungles every time.

I've noticed with the patch (I've played about 8 games now of ranked on the new patch) I have a lot of strange things happening. I was using my dash as Ormarr and it would constantly go the opposite direction of where I was aiming. I also was under tower trying to help attack the tower (there were no enemy mobs under it) and my character kept getting stuck doing half an animation and never hitting no matter how much I spammed the button. It almost cost me the tower, I had to reposition about 3 times to get it to work.
I see a lot of complaints about the new side bars for bigger resolution phones but I kinda like them, I wish it showed your character portrait as well so it was even on both sides but they work and look nice.

I'm not seeing any new side-bars at all? I thought that enemy portraits were supposed to appear now for you to tap and target, but my UI is still the same when in a match. Am I missing something?
It depends on your phone resolution. Those side bars are only for phones over a certain resolution because if they made the resolution fit it would give an advantage to the players seeing more of the map.

I can see it being really nice to aim using a second stick while holding a bumper down. It could work really well. I'm excited to try it out. I'm just hoping we learn whether or not accounts can be copied over because I don't want to lose out on my 24 levels or full arcana page.
It's a bug. They already sent out compensation mail to everyone for it and said they're trying to fix it.
Everything has issues trying to skillshot in a direction, even flicker. It tends to slingshot in the opposite direction for no reason. There are problems with touch screen swiping not registering correctly.
What do the high frame rate and hd graphics/display options do? And way to see what the fps is?

High frame rate unlocks it from the 30 cap up to a 60 cap. There used to be an option to display FPS but I don't see it anymore.
There's no high frame rate option for iOS version that I can see. Display FPS is there though.
I think the high framerate option is for supported devices only.
Cooldown reduction is awesome on Zephys. I think that is why, it allows you to be extremely mobile for chases and the knock up.

Yeah I'm starting to think the same. I'm stuck in gold 3. People just don't communicate and go AFK or get upset and feed. Or don't realize a certain lane needs help and get upset they were getting stomped.
taara's one of my favorites, so good in the jungle. mana free clear, mobility over walls, lvl 2 ganks.

Switching from wifi to 4g does not require a restart. At least in my case I didn't restart (android user).
In the case of reconnecting to an in progress game, my sister had the game crash on her (android too) and when she restarted the game, it loaded the match. No idea if there's an option to rejoin the match.
That pretty much sucks. What I do whenever I'm not sure of my connection is that I test play with casual first before attempting rank. Better safe than sorry.
