If you have posted the present, would you mind passing me the tracking number, or through another intemediary? The problem is not only customs, but here in Malaysia they only send packages during working hours, with prettt bad customer service if it's not delivered.
If you haven't bought the gift yet, I wasn't kidding when I said I didnt mind US nintendo or PSN eshop cards :). I wanted to make this as easy as I could for you, since it's the first year and all
The enthusiasm I can provide doing this is why I love doing Secret Santa. Giving really is better than receiving for presents.
Yesterday I received a package from overseas. I was like "What's in the box? It could be anything; it could even be a boat!"
It ended up being another gift from my secret santa. I really liked the little touches you added to the package and the personal note inside the card; I need to keep that in mind for next year. I had not heard of Moonspell, but I am currently listening to it as I write this post and I like it so far. Candy is always appreciated and I look forward to trying it. Stouts are one of my favorite styles of beer. Gonna let the bottle sit a few days since I am sure it got shaken up in transit, but I look forward to trying it. Thank you very much!

Jo-awn im impressed by your sleuthing :P you killed it... i left my wish list somewhat vague for my secret Santa since i enjoy a surprise, but you really knocked it out of the park and i feel spoiled haha
i want to thank you for taking so much time personalize the gifts, you really were spot on. I have a kid robot collection to add too and the mini legos to boot. the con loot is great and the syfy bag in particular is a fave. the pins and cookie sandwich light, random fun stuff. plus you just happened to get me one of the few nendoroids i've wanted but hadn't gotten. totally unexpected.
For the card in particular, its a great memento and will be kept for holidays to come. you wouldn't have known this at the time, but i have 4 other holiday/birthday (same month) cards with hand drawn animal crossing art from people ive known over the years. I never asked for animal crossing to be the subject in particular of any of these cards, it just happened. getting yours and seeing the animal crossing art (well done) and message was uplifting and much appreciated... also, i definitely plan to make it out to NYC!

Checked the tracking for the gift I sent and, looks like the post over where they are Attempted Delivery again on the weekend :( I'm soo worried my giftee isn't going to get their gift now :(
Have you contacted your TT about the planned delivery attempt? It might help if they know when it's supposed to arrive.
Nic did contact me for the shipping info and has forwarded it to them I believe, checking the tracking notifications I get it doesn't tell you when its going out, just after the fact when delivery has been attempted.
My SS has finally contacted me 2 days ago, and now waiting for her gift.

Well, the gift addressed to me is still stuck somewhere on the way, but I have the tracking number and I'm fairly sure it'll get through reasonably soon now that the holidays are over. To my SS – please don't worry about this.
I was contacted by my SS today explaining the delivery and giving me a tracking number, should've arrived by now since it arrived in my country on the 20th. The waiting game now, could be any day.

did you by any chance choose which figure builder you sent me? because these 2 are the respective "jackpot" figures of the sets they are in, you literally sent me the best figures of the 2 sets. I'm amazed.

I was planning on getting you some Animal Crossing themed Amiibo but then I discovered that you're an avid Amiibo collector so I decided against it. I figured that you probably had good bunch of them even though I didn't know which ones you had. The comics, Where Do We Go From Here? I got at C2E2 as it was by a small comic book writer/artist. Since you're quite active in politics thread, I figured that you would like it. Every year I've participated in the SS, I always love to go all out making a custom card tailored to the person. It got my creative juices flowing again in a way that I haven't done in a while from design to finished product. I was going through a dark period so working on the card felt incredibly meditative once I got into it. Writing the note also felt cathartic as I'm fond of handwritten notes.
I was originally going to include a drawing of your AC: New Leaf character as part of the card but I realized that simple is usually better. Fun fact: The reindeer was quite challenging to render so I rendered it as close to the in-game model as possible. The fact that friends gave you the same themed cards meant that something was right given your recent love of AC: Pocket Camp.
I'll leave you with one last gift idea that I had. I was going to send you a Blu-Ray of the 1994 Street Fighter: The Movie as a bit of an insider joke because that same night I mailed out the package, I went to the NYC Era meetup. The movie that was being screened that night? Street Fighter: The Movie. It was so bad, that it was good. But yeah, feel free to add my FC on the 3DS. I still game on it quite a lot but took a break. My FC is 4270-5906-0151 so feel free to send me yours.

As for the Monsters I guess I am just lucky. I didn't even touch the boxes till they came to me so I could pack them. I love that Wizorb soundtrack. It's a great game if you never checked it out. The Bayou Billy soundtrack is classic NES stuff! Hope you enjoy them!

NYRAD really outdid himself by sending some amazing quality Austrian candy that is mostly gone, and a graphic novel adaptation of 'Voices in the Dark', which was illustrated by her mom. It was also signed by her and Nyrad. So cool!
I really appreciate all of it dude! Your mom is one quality artist too, have been going through the book and it's been awesome. I really like the aesthetics of it.
PS: love all of the candy, but my personal favs where the Neopolitaner, the Milka, and the drag thingies. I still have to open the gummies and the Mozarts. I think I just named all of the candy. haha. I need to find a way to get some more of that here.

My gift finally arrived this week. It's pretty amazing, thank you so much, Secret Santa! I actually thought about getting the game before but it's difficult to find here so the only option would've been to order it overseas. Unfortunately there's no note, so your identity is a mystery.
Their slogan is a slightly desperate rendition of "If i could only stop ..." because it's highly unlikely that if you eat one, you wouldn't just eat the whole bag.
Like, the same basic idea as Pringles, but delivered with a lot more guilt and self-loathing

Just found out that another friends present was held in the depot without any reminder card left so there is a good chance it's floating around here and I don't know it :(
My tracking says it was delivered. But since you didn't get one i was going to put another package together to send.

The only explanation I can think of with my parcel not arriving is the mail person couldn't understand the Scottish accent on the front of the package. :D

Just been informed mine has finally arrived today, all I was told was its big and heavy so I'm hoping it's a case of whiskey!

And here I am to talk about my haul from my ever so generous and thoughtful Secret Santa, GavinRobertson.
Firstly I spied the box at my mums place, this big black bohemoth that weighed in at around 5.7kgs. I loaded the box into the car and drove home very excited!
I couldn't believe how heavy it was shipping must've cost a bomb to get all the way from Scotland to New Zealand. I took off the black wrapping and bubble wrap around the box then took the box into the lounge.
I had no idea what to expect so opened the box with my partner.
Of course I'd better follow these instructions because I don't want to ruin any surprises. I proceed to unpack the box and here it all is.
This was an amazing package, the Tartan heart with my family name on it, the whiskey, the Dundee Marmalade (so glad you sent this Gavin, I love marmalade! I only mentioned I didn't like condiments as I have an allergy to sauces like mustard and mayonnaise. Jams and other spreads are fine), the Dundee cake, the Zippo lighter with the Scottish flag and your little Scottish Broons & Oor Willie hardback book.... Everything was fantastic with so much thought gone into it. I'm only disappointed it didn't arrive in time for Xmas so I could have had the whiskey during the Hogmanay, but alas.
