These videos make me so excited about both games!
Mario Tennis looks a lot better than Ultra Smash and I'm more interested in this story mode than in Open's tournament structure, so that's good news.

I'm thinking Mario Tennis Aces will be a June release, right after E3. ARMS did the same thing and still technically counted as "Spring" because it was the last day of spring.
Releasing Mario Tennis Aces right after E3 will allow Nintendo to promote it with a live tournament at the show. And it will also give them more time to make the game and dole out updates.

Came late to the GX train, tuned out of most things Nintendo-focused for a few years until the Switch announcements/rumours late 2016 & early 2017 .
But yeah, since the Switch release and my burgeoning love of Nintendo returning for the first time since the N64 GX has probably become my favourite YT channel.

I love Gamexplain, it's the go-to channel for basically every Switch-3DS owner (super fast with their updates, game & watch, the discussions are so enjoyable,...), but i've to admit i laughed at this parody.

Just watched the Dragon Quest Builders preview by Daan and Jonneh. Great work, as always. I'm quite tempted to try the demo for the game. :-)

I had actually completely forgotten the Ultra Smash subtitle until it was mentioned in that analysis video. Just goes to show how much that game was phoned in; the trailer for Aces alone looks like it had way more care and attention given to it than the entirety of Ultra Smash.
Funny enough I just started playing that about a month ago and it put everything on hold, lovely game. Nintendo sent me a survey on this & Golf Story! I would like Mario Golf too.
I've enjoyed all of the Mario Tennis games I've played, even the oft maligned 3DS title, but I never tried Ultra Smash. Partly because it was 80 bucks at current game prices here and that's insanity for what the game is. At 60 I might have considered it (but more like 40).
I feel pretty optimistic about Aces though even if it's 80 bucks, which is highly likely. Game looks great so far. GX's analysis only confirmed this in my mind.

Gamexplain is kind of like fox news to me, ya kind of pop your head over to see what they think on a big event. If they love it, thats kind of their thing to love all things nintendo, if they dont, you know nintendo did something really wrong :P

This might be weird, seeing as Gamexplain's work is SO visual, but I'd love a podcast from those guys. Maybe it's just because I'm so into podcasting that I want everything to be a podcast but I think it could work and I'd happily listen to those dulcet tones on my commute to work.
