i think Jalen should transfer to a school that runs an offense that calls for the QB to constantly be on the move. I don't think he's got a future as a dropback passer, and if he wants to get to the NFL he's going to have to switch positions.

I remember hearing a Trent Dilfer interview about Tua last year where he gushed and basically called him a generational talent.

Some people thought it was hyperbole, but now????......Well....

add on 2 RB's that have signed (from what I can see). Kid from Louisiana that played QB and Jerome Ford. Both backs look to be on the smaller side, like Jacobs. Don't really see anyone else on the radar for this year at RB.

I think Bama is still trying to get that McKee kid out of California or Foster from in state. Foster is 14th ranked Dual Threat and McKee is #3 Pro style.

Then there's Tua's brother the following year.
Jalen should switch to HBack, if he can catch. Haven't had a solid hback that i can remember since Brad Smelley.

Don't forget 2019 has the Bear's great grandson out of Hewitt-Trussville whom we're pursuing.

Maybe he can transfer to Georgia Tech.

Minus well. He already got a W against Georgia in the one game that matters, what's two years of L's against em?

But seriously, he has H back written all over him. And maybe punt returner; he and Eddie Jackson on the same level of seeing running lanes open up.

I was kidding but a 5 star talent at QB in that system would be crazy to watch.

UGA safety/linebacker Rashad Roundtree has given up football due to concussions throughout his career. Didn't play at all this year so media thought this news would come at the end of the year. Was a 4 star out of highschool I think 3 years ago. Never played much in college, maybe a few special teams plays. Probably moving to a medical scholarship or whatever they call it.

Jalen was a 4*, but yeah, that'd be fun to see. I really want him to stay in Tuscaloosa though. Want him to make it to the league, and I'd love to see him make a game-winning play in a future natty for us so he could get the fame he deserves. This last game made me even sorrier his TD run against Clemson was effectively erased; QB or no, he should be a fairly legendary player for us. I hope Alabama history is kind to him.

Damien quietly rushing for 1,000 yards again and still apparently not being rated highly enough by scouts is criminal. Hope he lights it up again this year. The two Harris's and Jacobs will be nasty. Jacobs can finally explode as a slot receiver with Tua at QB. Hope Brian Robinson stays the course with us too.

If Georgia lands Tyson Campbell.. they will have 7 5 star recruits in their recruiting class..

Jesus..
We need him and the other big DBs coming in. That's really the last spot that needed a makeover. Bama picked on our 5'10" DB, Parrish, all night the other day.

UGA has a pipeline to American Heritage HS. That's where Michel was from along with Isaiah McKenzie and a kicker from previous years.

I thought we would catch them if we get Friday, Walker and Baptiste but now a bunch of CB's are trending UGA for some high rated guys so I am gonna say that dream is dead. I am very much okay with #2 though if that is where we end up.
The dream died when Carmen left imo.. if we get Friday, Walker and one other (Oats?).. I'm fine with a top 4 finish considering how bad the early signing period went for us. This would be an excellent rebound.

Just please let us land Zack Harrison in the next class or someone needs to be flogged.. that would be unacceptable as he has top 5 pick written all over him.

I still think we end up at #2 personally. I could potentially see Texas catching us but I doubt it. Bama will probably make a surge at the end but I still don't think they catch us either. In the end it doesn't matter all that much but I would like Urban to get at least one recruiting crown while he is here lol.

Think Bama gets close but it would be hard to catch tOSU or UGA.

I hope UGA gets Tyson Campbell and that WR out of TX, Tommy Bush. Would be a good replacement for Javon Wims since he was a senior.

Helfrich is a great OC. Even as Oregon's defense cratered the offense still kept them in games. Helfrich is a good pick up.

Oregon hired Aaron Feld. Awesome.
Oregon got DJ Johnson. Hell yes.
Devon Williams. Jalen Hall. Joshua Moore. Jaylen Waddle. Spender Webb. Miles Battle. Michael Ezeike. COME ON!

Otis Reese? Yeah I think that's been the rumor for a while now.

Aaron Feld has a great mustache and seemed like a great member of our staff. He's learned from some good people so he should be able to run a strength program effectively. Good pickup for y'all.

Didn't Chip Kelly call the plays when Helfrich was OC? And didn't Frost call plays when Helfrich was HC?

I'm stoked. Cristobal's relationship with him at Alabama sold it. His quirk seems to fit well at Oregon too.

It was a mix. Chip had final say. Helfrich adapted the offense extremely well over Chip's four years. That's what still impresses me. Also, Oregon lost two starting WRs, its starting TE and its best corner right before playing tOSU in the title game in 2015. Really could've gone a different way if Mariota had his normal tools that day.

Helf was never a great HC but he is incredibly smart and crafty as an OC. He's eye for talent is questionable however as he had his incredible hits like Mariota but also incredible misses like Tua (who literally would've committed to Oregon had been offered). He also got stuck with sanctions for three years as a coach and still recruited pretty okay on the whole. It was a good thing he was fired but he never seemed like a great HC but a potentially exceptional coordinator.

Listening to him call games this year in the box really illuminated his football acumen.

This is second Florida player in less than a year to have a condition like this. It's crazy and I feel bad for them.

3 more committed to coming back next year, top 2 WRs and one starting DT. Not going to lose too much this year to draft of underclassman. Next year looking goooooood

Bama's not coming close to Georgia. Not only are we not in on the highest ranked guys, but we don't have the numbers for a big class this year.

If Georgia doesn't win the championship in two years every coach there should be fired. It will be 2001 Miami/2013 FSU stacked.

only one team can win the title every year. Georgia just has to be in the national championship picture, and win SEC titles. if its 9 wins, no SEC titles and finishing outside the top 5 every year then yeah, someone might be losing a job.

Yeah. 2018 team will be more talented than 2017 but might be more sophomores and juniors than this year. Lot of that will depend on if Roquan Smith, Deandre Baker, Trent Thompson, and Lamont Gaillard come back for their senior years.

Smith is supposed to be a top 15 pick but since we haven't heard anything on any of them yet I'm wondering if a majority of them are coming back. Would be a great base for the 2018 team.

I think they expect to be back and competing in the playoffs. Gotta win the conference first though.

I mean, if the only thing that keeps them from a title in that timeframe is sharing a conference with the GOAT coach who's still got the most talented roster in the country, sure, fire everyone for incompetence or whatever. Lol
