See the fashion update on the previous page! I hadn't watched that one yet.
Thanks for posting. I updated the OP.I like the gold water, just hope it feels as good as SAMUS RETURNS at this point, 2.5D never convinced me
the game still needs some polishing. but every update removes a bit of faith that it's gonna get it.
The game still has at least 3 to 6 months of development left, and that's supposing there's no delay into the 2nd half of 2018. Almost all of polishing in games happens in the last couple of months. The developers of the massive and super well received Horizon said that 3 months before launch the game didn't look or played like the release version! I mean bloodstained will never look like Horizon but I can already tell, for example, the water here looks significantly better than it did in the last update.the game still needs some polishing. but every update removes a bit of faith that it's gonna get it.
Pretty much you polish only when you have all systems and assets in place, not before. The game still has at least 3 to 6 months of development left, and that's supposing there's no delay into the 2nd half of 2018. Here's to good ginally playing Bloodstained in 2018. May there be no significant delays and we get a fantastic game worthy of being the spiritual successor of Castlevania we all want.Pretty much you polish only when you have all systems and assets in place, not before.
They still have plenty of time to tweak the game until their deadline
Well, so far we've seen that the Switch can do an admirable job of handling UE4 ports with Snake Pass and NBA Playgrounds. Since Bloodstained is at its core a relatively simple game (no crazy physics simulation, etc.), I would suspect - or hope - that it shouldn't be downgraded visually. I'd say at the most, it might end up being 30 fps instead of 60 fps, but maybe it'll be 30 portable and 60 docked?Any news on a date yet?
I'm also curious about platform differences...I have my pledge sorted out for the Switch at the moment.
I was under the impression that any "port" will not start untill after the game is done since they aren't the ones doing the porting but another studio is ?Well, so far we've seen that the Switch can do an admirable job of handling UE4 ports with Snake Pass and NBA Playgrounds. I have Switch as my chosen platform as well.

So there would be no news of anything like switch , vita or so on untill the game is close to gold status.
was i wrong ?
AFAIK, the Switch version is being developed alongside the other versions. The cancelled Wii U version and the (somehow still not cancelled) Vita version are/were being outsourced to Armature.
I wonder if Armature is still being in charge or needed for the Switch version if that now get's the same UE4 version as the other consoles/PC. Part of the contract was port work for the engine down to Wii U / Vita, i think.
December 31, 2019This showed up on Amazon. Saw it on Wario64's feed. https://t.co/QKzsXPwj4l
It was not about that , it was more about my hopes up when it crashed when i saw that ./I know it's a placeholder. The news is that it's on there at all. Maybe there's some kind of announcement about a date coming.
