Of course not. I just don't think they care that they don't.Do you honestly think Apple believes everyone has the same ear shape?

Yeah, I'm not gonna buy AirPods because sound quality is important to me.
I think you misunderstood what he meant. He isn't talking about a specific feature, just the fact that the Airpods not being in-ear buds (with those plastic tips that create a seal) allow more outside noise in.Wait what? They can do this? Ive had mine since last may and I didn't even know that.
I'm not in the market for new earbuds, but I'd probably be open to a new wireless pair with audio quality on-par with the $100 Sony, Sennheiser, etc. models. Sticking to wired for now. I'm hoping Apple drops better AirPods sometime soon. Are you looking for a wireless pair that provides good sound or you sticking to wired?

Muddy bass as usual. There are 20 dollar ear buds that sound far better.
You want to carry them around individually? Are you insane?!I had them for a week, but then returned them. The battery life was just so freaking bad. And I hated having to carry the little case around everywhere. Maybe in two years they'll be where they need to be as far as how long they last.
Instead, I picked up the Bose Soundsport headphones during Cyber Monday.
Music/listening will get around 5 hours. Talk time is much less, about 90 min. I throw one in my ear to Skype with a friend while I game, and they run out of juice pretty quick. But in terms of just listening, they're quite good. What's the battery life like on these? Can they last like 4 hours plus on one charge?

That's not entirely true. 15 min will get you to about 50-60%Yep, best tech purchase I made in the last 5 years I use them all the time.
Yes, and then they fully recharge in like 15 minutes in the case. You just need to charge the case like once a week.

Pretty cool! Gonna get two for my wife and myself. Thanks!Yep, best tech purchase I made in the last 5 years I use them all the time.

Why would even mention this in this thread? This is like a terrible glimpse of an even darker timeline.
Nah, airpods look better
I have a pair of beats x and the cable that goes round your neck is so gaudyI've tried them at the Apple Store and love the case and seamless connectivity. But they just sound so awful after coming from the Bose Soundsports and now the BeatsX. Lovely as they are, I can't compromise on such bad sound.
Oh surprise, the Sony also look dorky on non-cherrypicked headphone models
No one ever denied that.Say what you will about Apple they do make it hard to leave their ecosystem.
I have the official brown leather onesI've had them for around 12 months now and they're fantastic. It's perfect for me at the gym. I put them on before I leave the house (I don't need the case at the gym). When I get in the car and plug my phone into CarPlay, the audio switches over. When I get to the gym, double tap and it's on again in my ears. They've NEVER fallen out while on the treadmill. Left side pauses, right side skips track. Then it's the same again when I drive home.
AirPods on throughout the whole trip! My life is perfect now: iPhone X, AirPods and CarPlay. What more could you want?
[edit] Oh and my iPhone X also has an official iPhone X silicone case. On a scale of 9 to 10, how jealous are you?
I haven't given leather a shot this time. I tried a couple of times with old iPhones but they get dirty too quickly. The silicone cases wear down, so they're kinda always clean looking.
You just select them from the audio drop down on Mac or the control center audio widget on iOS.Wow, it's rare to see a product get such glowing impressions across the board!
How exactly do you have it Switch between multiple devices? Like, jumping between my mac, iPad and iPhone?
Ive had mine for six months and use them at the gym 3 days a week. They seem to handle it fine so far.
