I do like GR2 had more animated cutscenes. It's clear though that the comic panels, despite being there for technical reasons, is part of the games identity now. We're too far gone, I am more than fine w/ the comic book stuff, that's clearly GR's thing.
I have no idea which mission that's supposed to be, even though I just finished the game a couple of days ago. :P

me walking trying to not get suspicious.
Treasure hunts, photos rating and challenge missions where you send/receive a challenge and play against other player's ghosts. The latter is the only interesting one for me but there are many fans of treasure hunting in the thread.
Once you get rocket jumps down and start abusing quick shifts to other styles it becomes one of the most useful ways to traverse the environment.Lunar mode is way too floaty. Don't know why anyone would enjoy it that much on its own.

Hey guys, I finally got round to starting this. I'd platinumed both the first on Vita and remaster but had forgotten they were turning online off soon otherwise would have gotten to it sooner.
So I've literally just started, besides making my way through the story what should I be concentrating on that won't be there when it goes offline?
Presumably not, since you can find treasures randomly sometimes, even without hints or sounds. It's very rare and hard to find though, and since there's a lot of stuff in these treasure boxes you're much better off trying to get it all before the servers go down. If you're on post-game you can do that fast and easy since there is no 4 treasures per day limit (at least there was none for me).I have all the Dusty Token since February, but are some gestures, photo items and furniture that you get from treasure boxes lost forever when the servers will go down ?
Yeah, I really liked the comic book stuff in GR1, not everything has to be animated if it's drawn well. Like the painting-style backgrounds used to tell the story in Okami. We're too far gone, I am more than fine w/ the comic book stuff, that's clearly GR's thing.

So how do I check how many Dusty tokens I have, other than the reward messages?
Everytime i read statistics, I think you're telling people to go do statistics instead of what you're actually saying, which is to check statistics in the game. Regardless it makes me laugh everytime.
It is done. Now I just have to do more treasure hunts to get the last of the furniture.
Yeah, I wasn't expecting the singing bit to be where it was, but it gave us red dress Kat, and Kat's beautiful voice, and that's all that matters.Just got to the singing part. That one trailer made it seem like a bigger deal lol. It just sorta happens randomly.

Forgot about that, that was really sad :(My favourite part about the singing is when it props up again later with some of the girls after the Old Man side quest.
Kat sings in the dress
The song somehow became really popular in Jirga Para Lhao but no one knew who the singer was and it was never heard again
Later during a side quest Kat sings her song again at the little music party in the slums. Someone had recorded Kat and though they don't recognise her they now have the song and some bands reproduced it. Its popularity spreads throughout Heskeville.
Kat finds two girls singing her song and ask how they know it. When they tell her about the song and how it became popular Kat is really happy but then one of the girls says the lyrics are pretty easy and Kat's voice is pretty similar and encourages Kat to try singing. Kat panics and runs away leaving the girls wondering if Kat was the original singer.
Of course this was all setup for the finale and explains how everyone knows the song.
Side quests, main quests and treasure hunts.
Do you need to get to a certain point to start getting furniture or something? I've done a bunch of side quest and treasure hunts and I've only gotten gestures and photo items.

I made it to the epilogue, or whatever this wonderfully overlong post-credits thing is.
I love how epic this game is!
Sidequests for starters. Some stuff you need Dusty Tokens for, like treasure hunts, and accepting/sending challenges.
The nice thing withLast night I just got to (Chapter 13 spoilers)I feel like the story needs to start wrapping up soon as it's still introducing questions when we even have lingering plot threads from GR1 that haven't been answered yet (like who is Kat? What are the Nevi? Who was Alias? And so on).Hekseville, and I'm enjoying it a lot more already. I find this city better designed and more enjoyable to explore, with better music too.
I'm just having a blast transversing.
Also having huge fun with photo mode.
Hmm I don't remember that happening however Tripod mode is more like Kat using Stasis mode, that is, it needs to stay within a certain distance otherwise it closes. If you are quick you might snap a shot before it shuts off but yeah. It is frustrating because there is no warning that you are getting close to the limit or anything like that. That last photo is great.
I love the camera, but I really wish it would automatically close after a few seconds of inactivity in tripod mode. You barely have time to position Kat.
