"Mmmm... Sasuke" - An Akatsuki member, probably.Hah, I do wonder what sounds the panel would make each week if they had to make Akatsuki noises.

Neither of them are amazing. Pop Tarts probably win out of convenience. They're a simple go-to thing whether you heat them or not. Toaster Strudels can be better, but you have to nail the preparation. Since they're stored frozen, you can end up having cold spots, they can wind up soggy, or get easily burnt.
Yeah but what about the Princess Bride, it is obviously better than ShrekPeople trying to figure out the whole pop tart and toaster strudel thing is probably hilarious to Kyle.
I'm hoping for a more in depth deliberation for the Easy Allies Awards, more akin to what happens in Giant Bomb.
Probably not their style though.

I was excited for Trailer Jones until I saw the execution. That wasn't really $45k-worthy. Over skype with not so great microphones? Nah. For such a high goal I expect them to come together and discuss the trailer in person. Or the trailers. That's another thing. I always liked it more, when they discussed several trailers at once ("Let's go all to the Trailers" style) and the description of the goal on Patreon makes it sound like it would be exactly that:
Yeah, Trailer Jones just didn't hit the spot for me, at all. There's no reason at all why that's a $45k goal - it just seems to be there for the sake of having something at $45k.
Hopefully an intern of some description becomes a goal at some point. Someone who can maybe do some editing, produce things to a higher standard even, and free up everyone else's time for their shows / reviews etc..
It'll probably be similar style but scaled way back obviously. Doesn't GB post like 5 3 hour shows worth of deliberations?
Haven't listen to this year goty podcasts. Only a few categories in.Hope not
This was my first gb goty deliberations and it was... not good
Whatever Brad and Jeff pushed, won
Same. But I assume they would taste too artificially sweet and gross.
It wasn't so sudden for me because you posted about it before :(Akatsuki should've been the team name. I laughed so hard when Kyle said that name, especially due to how sudden it was.
Was that part of the latest podcast where Kyle said, after Brandon said he and Kyle don't get on, "That's a bit" a bit? I feel like those two really do hate each other and Bosman only said it was a bit to try save face.
Seriously!
See that's the biggest problem with the betting format Kyle chose. If he had gone with my idea of Team Kyle vs. Team Brandon we could've had both Meme Monkeys and Akatsuki at the same time :(I'll tell you this for nothing; had "The Meme Monkeys" been drawn out of the hat as the name for the team I'd stop watching the podcast for the year.
For real? Again with this "does X ally hate Y ally?" stuff? There are still people who honestly think Kyle's breakdown in that Easy Update was not acting, and it's exasperating. Was that part of the latest podcast where Kyle said, after Brandon said he and Kyle don't get on, "That's a bit" a bit? I'm hoping it is otherwise I would lose hope in humanity (if I had any left to lose of course).

Let me put it this way: I find it exceptionally unlikely that two people who hate (or even dislike) each other would voluntarily choose to sit down in a garage and build models together for 4.5 hours on a regular basis, when there are so many other things they could choose to do with their time.
They get paid to do that, it's an obligation. People work with people they hate constantly. For real? Again with this "does X ally hate Y ally?" stuff? There are still people who honestly think Kyle's breakdown in that Easy Update was not acting, and it's exasperating.

Kyle and Brandon don't get paid specifically to sit down with each other and build models together for hours on end. They could easily find other outlets, away from each other, which would still justify the Patreon money they receive. They get paid to do that, it's an obligation. Is this a bit?

Ian has a really nice idea with this easy update, I would be down for a full series.
*A game Ian/they think they'd hate. The element of trying something they haven't tried before is necessary for it to be entertaining.just make an Ally play a game they hate.
Does Huber hate any games? Does Huber hate anything for that matter? Other than Ben, obviously...
As I just watched it happen, if you still need it, here is a link:Heard this in the Q&A, does anyone have a link for when Damiani finds out Becky?
