Have a look at the recent posts in the community and add those people that have also just joined, new people are likely to be quite active.
You can get furniture from treasure hunts after episode 14.
There are 6 gestures from treasure hunts - Back flip, Tongue Out, Wink, Hip Attack, Donut & Skewer.
Some side missions award them also, so if you have all the above you know it's in a side mission.
One of the later side missions "A Game of Gravity" unlocks a gesture for sure.
The final unique item you get from treasure hunts is the Ultimate Explorer talisman, once you've received that you'll only get gems as a reward and you know you've got everything from the hunts.
Just started this after buying both games during last week's sale. Got the platinum for 1 and WHOA, going from those graphics to 2's feels like a world apart. I miss the 60 fps but worth the trade imo.
I absolutely loved 1 by the way, it has that feel good, Japanese-ass quirkiness I haven't seen since Mega Man Legends 2 (my favorite game of all time.) I have a soft spot for these kind of worlds and stories.
Any tips or recommendations going from 1 to 2?

Yeah I hardly used stasis in Remastered. It's pretty much all I use in GR2.
The target seeking is still a bit borked, though. Too often it makes a weird sweep when it gets thrown, only to crash into a wall or a random sign.

Conclusive I'd say.
Toyama designed GR2 with the intention of this ending Kat's story.

Thanks for this! I'm definitely missing a couple of gestures from the treasure hunts, then (back flip, tongue out and skewer). I'll keep doing them until I get that talisman.
IIRC, tokens are tied to PSN account rather than save file, but best not to quote me on that.

I'm too nice, but then so is Kat, so I didn't drop the stalker in spite of the game tempting me to do it.

Lool. I don't know why anyone would pick that option given Kat had just vocalised what she wanted to do, but I did notice that there were two direction markers, so it was clear you had a choice.

Does your dog also refuse to return a frisbee if you don't throw it at the exact spot she wants it?
No, she has a completely different problem where she starts running before you throw it and has no idea where it is until it lands.
Edit: Also it's hilarious what Kat uses her powers for sometimes. You have arms Kat. Throw the frisbee.
We already got way too many sidequests that don't let Kat use her powers. Let her live!

I've currently collected a total of 25.000 gems with minimal mining. Just exploring every nook and cranny of Jirga Para Lhao nets you a lot of gems. If Hekseville features about the same amount of gems, I might be able to get that trophy with relatively little extra effort.
Just joined the community and friended some folks on here. I've only begun farming tonight, chasing my first 500 at the moment.

In may of 2017 i stopped at chapter 20 ( after the credits , did some sub missions and then i put this game down )
Why did i do that ? i have no idea.

That's good too, but it gets old too, doesn't go the distance. Pretty much just the OG look (not the white one, Black > White), Work Clothes, and School outfit (2.0) are the only outfits I use for an extended period of time.
Worst outfit is the Super Star one.
We don't speak of the PSO outfit.
Spy Kat is still my favorite outfit and the one Kat spends most time in. 2B (no visor) is good as well and I always switch back to Shifter 2.0 for story missions. I haven't unlocked it yet, but School Uniform 2.0 looks good, too.
Happens late into the Jirga Para Lhao side missions. Said rich jerk comes back in a Lei Havina side mission about helping him track down his daughter after that, but manages to redeem himself by the end of it.
So I just heard about the server thing and I am now concerned and worried about what all this means below from the OP:
- Sending/receiving challenges.
- Access to the rankings.
- Receiving/posting treasure hints.
- Receiving/posting/reviewing photo ghosts.
- Acquiring Dusty Tokens and rewards.
