Thanks Nate, done it on my first try!
Barry's TLOU-lite chapter is pretty cool so far, I really like Natalie, even her voice acting isn't obnoxious and I think it's a first as far as child characters go for me... def wouldn't expected that from a RE game of all things lol

Good to hear. The game gets really good from that point forward, so glad you'll be able to enjoy the rest of the game now.

Which Raid Mode are most people playing, the one from Rev or Rev 2?

I just started on them today, and I think that they are both pretty great (not very far on either).

I need to do things in order so . . . I'm going through RER1 raid mode and having a blast. Can't wait to try out RER2.

Damn it! It seems I got the bad ending haha (I guess I was in a tense panic playing initially)... Is it possible to replay Claire's Chapter 3 only and then jump into Barry's Chapter 4 to get the good ending?

For some reason, the gyro aiming in REV2 is totally borked for me. Twitchy, stuttery mess. REV1 works fine though. I'm so confused

Capcom PLEASE give us a patch with an option to lock the games at 30fps. Nothing is worse than an unstable framerate. It's 25-60 fps. And that sucks.

Deciding between REv 2, 5, or 6 for couch co-op. Does it even matter? I'm introducing my friend to RE.

IMO RE5 is still the best Coop Experience for RE5. I'd go with that and then move onto either Rev 2 or 6.
Rev 2 is set after RE5 and has a few ties to it. Though coop in that has one player as the gunner and the other as an assister. So unsure if that'll be an issue.

RE6 is more akin to RE5. However the action is increased more so. It can still be a fun time in coop though. Especially if both players are utilizing the mechanics and melee.

^^ This fellow speaks the truth

6 is pretty prolific with cinematic walking and QTE's and it's game balance is somewhat wack. The only upside over 5 is that it has alot of content. 5 generally gets a bad rap, but as a COOP game it's pretty awesome. Played through it a good 3-4 times.

The DLC is worth picking up as well (on discount), as it has a pretty fun call back to RE1.

Still waiting for re 4, 5 and 6 collection...
I would buy this too, but I honestly expect Capcom to try and pull a fast one by selling each separately for $20 a pop. That's what they did with the XB1 and PS4 releases. If they really want to be dicks, they'll be $30 each for physical copies.

That said, I'm holding out for a good sale on this game. I own Rev on 3DS and Wii U, and Rev 2 on PS4. I'm really turned off by the fact Rev 2 is a 26GB download.

What am I missing in the choose the right "door" sequence? There must be a way to know which one's the correct choice but I'm
not seeing it...

Yes, I've read the note on the table but it doesn't really make sense to me?

If that's the part I think it is you can climb above that obstacle and look down on it, revealing what's behind it.

I finally got around to beating Revelations 1 since owning it on the 3DS. Playing it on the Switch with the gyro aiming just fit perfectly. The game wasn't amazing, but I had fun enough all the way to the end. The ship(s) were definitely the highlight of the game with the rest being the worst part for me.
So I've been playing Revelations 2 for the first time and just got to Chapter 3. I kept reading about how much better the story was in the second and I honestly put no stock into that, but having actually played it, I was wrong. The story and combat have been miles better from Revelations 1. I've actually paid attention to the story, where I totally checked out while playing the first Revelations. Loving the little Barry/Claire references from RE1 regarding Barry.

I want to get back to these. I adore these games and they're great on Switch, but I got sidetracked by Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

I know people will think I'm crazy but I've just posted my GOTY list and have Rev2 sitting at #2, above Odyssey. Playing Raid in portable mode is pure bliss, what a fucking great game (and port).

Haha oh wow ok then I'll wait! Were both of these DLC add-ons released after the fourth epidose?

They were; 'The Struggle' in particular is directly linked to the endgame. 'Little Miss' isn't as directly connected but it spoils an endgame twist. My personal recommendation, if you really want to play both, is play 'Little Miss' first and then 'The Struggle', because the former really does suck and would be a pretty sour note to end the campaign on. The latter is a little bit better and has a slightly more interesting plot.

Is there a site that would allow me to purchase a download code for just 2 from America using PayPal? I'd love to get the game, but the price hike in Europe is something I'm really not cool with still, and they still haven't lowered it and it doesn't look like they're planning on changing it anytime soon.

How is selling them at $20 a piece a fast one? You really expect them to sell them for cheaper than that? $20 is basically the bare minimum for major re-releases.

It's hard to disagree that RE5 is the best coop option for RE5, I agree ;)

Are these games canon? They're essentially as legit as CV or any numbered game in the series, right?

Just make a new Nintendo account and buy a $20 eShop code and get the game on the US eShop, that's what I did (best option would've been Canada but I couldn't find a way to buy CND eShop codes without paying a premium or having a bunch of money sitting in my account.
I suggest making a new account instead of just changing region since you'd have like a cent sitting in your account and thus unavailable to switch back to your default region.

literally the title of this thread :D
I was unsure if that was in reference to it's original release as independent titles, or the collection only being available in digital only form originally or if things had changed. It's been a while and it's a collections pack that comes in physical form. I didn't see anything about that in the OP specifically.

Edit: Nevermind, I obviously just missed the line about retail options
North America: Resident Evil Revelations Collection (RER on a card + RER2 download code) (US$39.99)

Assuming the reason 1 is on card, 2 is digital, is so that they could save money by using the 15GB carts.

As is always the case. Nobody is putting stuff in anything larger than 8GB and these games (specifically 2) are huge. Even Rev1 getting its own 16GB card without need to download more is a rare occurrence.

Considering the price of these games compared to their competitors, you'd think that was the point of paying the "Switch" Tax.
