Probably not a buff, but an exotic that extends the 6 shot Golden Gun duration (which is a little op IMO). I wonder why they're raising the level cap? It's not like it affects anything.

Infinite forest sounds like it could be something like an endless mode. Or it could just be a fancy name for a social space.

Saying "new raid content" sounds like theyre adding something to the current raid. That would be a bummer.

I still think it looks cool though

Because the shard calls out to you specifically and bestows Light to you specifically at specific intervals. It's not something that any Guardian could approach and get. There's an entire process to it that's facilitated specifically by The Traveler. It likely has to do with the limited strength the Traveler has due to the restraint placed on it.

Looks a lot like it to me, actually. It looks like a flat pressing of the wolf head. It's just missing the details (teeth, fur lines, etc..). It's what I imagine an early version of the symbol would've looked like when initially forging the armor.

Ana Bray was a Hunter iirc. Or at the very least a Takanome Ranger... which is just a Hunter without Light. Hard to say if that's Hunter armor or not. Neck looks off for Hunter but the asymmetrical shoulders/arm design support Hunter.

It's a pretty safe bet that it's Ana Bray cause she is mentioned a lot during Destiny 2 and in the Tower there is a secret room with a book/datapad regarding her.

They look very different though. I also don't think they'd use a "flat pressed" version of the symbol when trying to depict an Iron Lord, they'd just use the already established one. It could be a wolf, but I doubt it's an early version of the Iron Lord wolf.

It's a heavily redacted journal iirc. And yeah, there's definitely a few seeds planted referencing her. I'm actually super interested in her character, so I'll be happy to see her expanded upon if that's her.

Eh... Snout, chin, and brow are about the same. And you're thinking too much in-line with logo consistency for easy branding. I was thinking along the lines of logo changes over time in-story. But Hawky seems to have the best theory so far in Ana Bray...

Bleh the PC version has ruined the PS4 version for me. I'm no framerate snob and D2 on PS4 felt fine originally at 30 FPS, but going from playing it at 60 to playing it at 30 is noticeable and makes the PS4 version feel so much worse. And I feel like my aim is so off on PS4 now, struggling to aim with controller. Sucks a bit since I am way more invested in Destiny on the Playstation ecosystem with veteran status from D1, almost every exotic, a nearly maxed character of each class etc. And while I play with a bunch of people on PC, my brother on PS4 is a much more consistent person to play with.

Odd complaint I know, but I'm just really surprised at how much worse the game feels now after playing on PC, when I never had any issues with it before.

I know the feeling. My primary account is on PS4 and I spent most of the weekend playing the PC version. Wish I wouldn't have now; the Pro version feels like it's running at 20 fps :/

Yeah, walking away from the PS4 was difficult, but at this point I can't see myself going back. It sucks that my original characters will be left to collect dust, but mouse control has changed the game in a very big way for me. The additional polish is appreciated, but the additional control and precision with k/b makes the game significantly more enjoyable.

Ugh, if only mouse and keyboard were allowed on the PS4...

It could be a HoW-affiliated wolf symbol. Maybe that's an emissary of the Queen. She looks awoken. Maybe Petra's back. Impossible to know.

It doesn't look like the typical Iron Lord wolf stuff though.

So I just ran the raid with a PUG, beat it in 1:15. Luck of the draw I guess, but made me super happy when everyone knows what to do and it goes smoothly.

However I did start a PC account and I'm wondering if there's any easy way to form PUGs? It seems like it's forcing you to add people as friends on blizzard to join them which is the shitty old days of Destiny 1 all over again.

That's definitely not the Iron Wolf on her arm. There's no teeth and there's a strange protrusion at the bottom that's not there on the Iron Wolf. It's got a strikingly similar shape, but once you actually compare it you'll see that they're not the same.
