When is the online stuff going down? Despite getting the game at launch and having got the plat on both the PS4 and Vita versions of the first game, I never got the plat for 2, feel like I need to. Hardly touched the DLC either. May as well complete it while there's actually still a chance to do so.

Got this during the sale and currently on chapter 2. Is it even feasible for me to get everything before the servers go offline?

Absolutely. It will go slow in the beginning, but once you uploaded a bunch of photos and completed some challenges, the tokens come rolling in. I started the game a week ago with about 300 tokens on the first day. Last monday I ended with 3000 tokens. Two days later I'm already at 5000 tokens without even trying.

Just make sure to upload all your (good) photos, preferably at high profile spots, upload every completed challenge mission and do all the treasure hunts you'll receive. You can easily amass 6000 tokens within 7 - 10 days with about 30 - 60 minutes dedicated each day to token collecting.

You'd probably have to step away from story and side missions for a bit to grind Dusty Tokens, but yeah it's feasible.

Nope, only if you want to get furniture/gestures/costumes etc. You don't get dusty tokens for them from what I remember.

So what exactly is so bad about the Raven DLC? I just beat it and I enjoyed it. I guess Episode 2 was a bit too long and Raven's still kick really sucked against certain enemies but those are like the only complaints I have. The boss fights were cool and had great designs and Sachya was cute as hell. I
The ending was good too. I couldn't quite tell when the hell it was supposed to take place though.

Kat and Syd are in Hekseville but Brahman is also the mayor. Though I guess since everything is overwritten at the end, none of that stuff actually happens so maybe it makes sense that way.

So far I have lost 3 of 4 challenges sent out, (they beat me on the timer, by being twice as fast), 4x treasure hunt, and actually quite a few photos to grade have popped up.
665 pts in the first 12hr period, so if I can repeat this every 12hr period I'll get 1000-1300+ (if not winning a challenge occurs the lower number) pts/day, should be quite fast to get to 6000 pts

They seem exactly the same to me.

Yeah it really goes super fast. Keep your eyes open for treasure apples outside of treasure hunts as well. I've found 8 of them so far, so that's another 640 points. I feel they're more common than they were before January 1, but maybe that's just my imagination.

I took two screenshots. First one is 1.0, second one is 2.0:

A few more golden ornaments, that seems to be about it. Definitely not worth the 5000 dusty tokens, but oh well. It's better than locking an outfit like the red dress behind them, as they'll soon be a lot harder to collect.

There are perhaps a hundred locations where they can spawn, so I don't know if it's worth it to spend a lot of time specifically searching for them. But they often spawn on rooftops and the like, so it never hurts to keep your eyes open while you shift from place to place.

What I also do when I start playing is make a quick tour around the three central islands of Lei Colmosna: the two markets and the docks. If an apple spawns, it will be on one of those islands. It will only cost you a few minutes and you might run into other stuff as well, such as photo reviews.

Nope.

You won't be able to fill some of the internal stats that the game tracks, but nothing trophy related.

Yeah sure, however now I know a few places to look even when Treasure Hunter is not running, 1015 pts also in the 12 first hrs.

Finished chapter 17 and I'm at 5330 dusty tokens. Once I get to 6000 (which will probably be tomorrow) I'll focus on getting furniture.

I'm at mission 7 if I remember correctly. Haven't played the frist.
Like:

fresh new setting
fresh new gameplay
cool little online features
Japanese wackiness
rather restrained character waifuisation

Dislike:

gameplay is not very refined: you often end up in weird spots and enemies behave weirdly, some missions are badly designed
camera spazzes out quite frequently. Like if you're in gaps or if the camera hits a wall
the fake language & comic book story telling suck
the characters don't seem to have any depth to them
currency accumulation is tiresome. Some quests and side quests have no rewards at all
world seems small & limited

Even though the cons outweigh the pros I still like playing it, but it doesn't quite glue me to the screen, i.e. It's fun in moderation.

Of course, after complaining yesterday to never (never is a harsh word, more like "only 4") receive any "Nice!" for all the photos I sent, I got 5 photos reviewed with a "Nice!" and 2 treasure hints photos used overnight, lol. That plus the 4 treasure hunts I did today catapulted me from 4980 dusty tokens to a bit more than 6000.

I stopped progressing in the story once I hit episode 14, I just farmed dusty tokens and furniture since then. Now, the tokens are not a problem anymore, but I still have to farm treasure hunts for the furniture that are locked through them (I think I've had 12 so far).

I wish I was at home for over 12 hours to get the next cycle but my boss doesn't know Kat!

P.S. And now I've read about the furniture hunt that's best to do before the servers go offline - damn...

Is there anything that needs to be done online (besides downloading it) to unlock the 2b outfit in GR2? I'm in the middle of playing through Trails in the Sky and still have to play remastered so it's pretty unlikely I'll start 2 before the online is disabled.

No. Costume changes aren't available until you switch locations and get the camera in Chapter II (starts around Episode 4 maybe, I forget), though.
