Now that it is 2018: Limited Run...where is the 25h Ward for PC? 3 months left from release.

Also: seems I missed out on the pS4 version of Night Trap but the PC version is available.

Well, I have an opened copy of the original Special Reserve run that I'm willing to trade if you have anything that you'd like to exchange. If you're interested, consider sending me a PM when you have a chance.
I tried to send you a PM, but I wasn't able to for some reason. I really appreciate the offer, thank you, but I'm not sure I have anything of real value to trade, unfortunately.

I was really banking on that waiting list, LRG. I'm kinda let down... I haven't had any trouble with you guys in the past, and unlike Shizuka, I only have good things to say about the hold shipment service (I kid, Shizuka :P).
I know the waiting list didn't entitle me to a copy, but I certainly hoped you'd get in touch at some point. :(

Sorry about that, we didn't have enough to meet the overwhelming amount of people on the waiting list. We didn't list very many, maybe only a few.

usually how long after asendia stuff passes customs in the uk does it start to move again? passed customs on christmas eve and hasn't moved since

The badness of this idea is amazing. Unless you can just buy it and load it into an account at any time then this is the worst. Picture some d00d trying to enter a gift card when Phantom Breaker. I continue to suspect that they are having cash flow problems and actively soliciting deferred income feels like a manifestation of that. That and the excessive variants, blind boxes, and lack of progress on any of the outstanding Kickstarters. Maybe none of their contractual partners have reached out to them about these games and they don't want to "rush them."

it probably works on a credit basis to speed up purchasing

The badness of this idea? It literally hurts no one. We've been asked by a lot of people last month if there was a gift card option since people wanted to buy them for others.

I can definitely say we don't have a cash flow problem, we are doing well and investing money into localization and full publishing.

When can we expect your first localization and publishing announcement?

Continuing with the current example, I don't think anyone besides the developer was asking for a physical release of Mecho Tales. Review scores range from 40% - 60%. Please feel free to link to any posts of people asking for this game.

It doesn't really matter at all that "nobody" was asking for the Mecho Tales. I didn't buy it because I just don't care. Other people who aren't you or me bought it because they did. I've asked this before in this thread but have yet to get an answer- Can you explain to me how this is a problem?

Localization and full publishing- Will these be digitally as well as physically distributed, maybe on the Lucky Rabbit side of the company?

We will be publishing them digitally and physically from the Limited Run Games side.

Now that's interesting. I suppose digital publishing is a necessity since LRG is in the sole publisher in this case. I'm guessing the print runs for these games will be considerably larger than previous runs due to the increased exposure and commitment to these titles?

I'm expecting ambitious limited editions for those games.

Hey LRG!

This has probably already been asked and answered but when do you anticipate announcing your first Switch title? As a follow up, can we anticipate more Switch titles in the first half of 2018?

Thanks!

I can't even remember when I bought Skullgirls Vita anymore. That didn't ship yet, right? We're still waiting on that one?

Yeah mecho tales and yesterday broke my full LRG collection too, i think it's for the better ^^". I'll continue to support them with the good games (like furi, wonderboy, ys origins and la-mulana \o/) rather than jumping on each release.

Same here, I bought every single LGR's PS4 releases except for Saturday Morning RPG, and I was planning on buying that one from eBay at some point. But Mecho Tales broke the streak, I just couldn't justify paying 35 dollars for that game, especially having no desire to play or collect it. I will still be buying stuff I really want, and looking forward to other great indie games to buy. But I'll just be more picky from now own, and it's for the better honestly.

Because it hasn't been published in North America and we are a North American publisher. Not everyone collects PEGI, some people only want ESRB versions or no rating at all.

I shouldn't be surprised, but I had no idea people were picky regarding the rating label (well, except the huge German one, covers too much of the boxart).

I only buy NA titles because it limits my consumption, and I like seeing everything match. I'm one of those weirdos that does not import games.

You've cancelled Ghost Blade that was a limited print from EAS, but now you release a game that's already widely available and dirt cheap. That's a weird double standard.

Some imports can really clash, in the PS2 days the PAL releases had only text in the spines, and the US games usually had logos - but if that was the only way to get a game I didn't mind much. The US DS cases were thinner than European ones - the "harmony" in boxes does look good (I'm looking at you, JP Gamecube boxes, tsk tsk), but I never though of the rating label as a factor in that.

Any word on if they'd publish SEA games to North America?

Because it would save me so much money from importing English localized titles to NA

I just hope they'll allow pre-orders for it, otherwise I'll need to make sure I'm not in a meeting when it goes live... assuming this happens of course ;)

Preorders for anything would be the ideal situation for me, but chances are it won't be... I'll just have to do my very best to get a hold of it.
