zalae and firebat are usually good to watch.

amnesia is finally streaming more and is pretty good to watch for high level technical play.

Did a hot fix come out to allow Dungeon Runs to help you complete quests?

My DR wins today counted toward the Domination quest (win any 7 games for 100 gold).

This NEEDS to not be a mistake. DRs really need to be able to credit quests and/or yield a chance at dust, gold or cards. It's crazy that they award nothing besides a single card back.

Apparently "Greetings!" is replacing "Well Played" nowadays.

So much toxic trash in this game.

It's kind of funny....I don't know why it has to be toxic? I feel like y'all take it too seriously. Just squelch 'em if it's annoying?

Recruit Warrior is a lot of fun. I think I've decided that Brawl is a ton better than Reckless Flurry in general, though you might still include one Reckless Flurry just for more AoE options.

I still don't know what to think about Scourgelord Garrosh. That weapon + armor is really good, but I tend to miss Armor Up when it's very late game and you're just trying to stay alive through their final burst. Also it's 8 mana, when a lot of games are decided by like turn 5

When do the new Twitch Prime rewards go live?

I was just thinking that yesterday. Is Blizzard really that cheap that they can't put a single card pack behind a long Dungeon Run?

We don't know what the new rewards are. Twitch says the following about the golden classic card pack:
Hearthstone In-Game Loot: Nov 8 – Jan 9

DR or other solo mode wins count for the win 7 quest but not for any other quests. The win 7 quest is unique.

Since Standard is a no good pile of netdecks now, I'll probably try to try-hard Wild this month, starting of with a little Token Shaman inspired by Mason. Only problem is he forgot to put patches in it, so I fixed that up.

Code:
### Totem Shaman
# Class: Shaman
# Format: Wild
#
# 1x (0) Totemic Might
# 2x (1) Bloodsail Corsair
# 2x (1) Fire Fly
# 1x (1) Patches the Pirate
# 2x (2) Flametongue Totem
# 2x (2) Maelstrom Portal
# 2x (2) Primalfin Totem
# 2x (2) Totem Golem
# 2x (3) Mana Tide Totem
# 2x (3) Primal Talismans
# 2x (4) Call in the Finishers
# 2x (5) Bloodlust
# 2x (5) Thunder Bluff Valiant
# 2x (6) Thing from Below
# 2x (7) Corridor Creeper
# 2x (7) Everyfin is Awesome

Call in the Finishers + Everyfin is Awesome is a stupid good combo that should probably be in almost every shaman deck. It's like the Hunter spellstone for 7 mana, but also buffs your other dudes and both combo pieces are fine on their own.

Since Standard is a no good pile of netdecks now,

aint nothing wrong with playing proven decks.

Aggro Murloc Paladin doing quite well. so much more explosive power than the non-murloc variant, can really take advantage of any gaps in a priest or warlock's draw. Tempted to slot in a spellbreaker though.

On my latest priest dungeon run attempt, I ran into Gnosh (first time ever?). I survived and then BARELY survived the Mother Gloop, ending up against Vustrasz (second time ever?).

Thankfully that final boss can be handled in a somewhat strategic fashion. I had a hilarious combo I did in a couple of games with 5-cost deathwing, mimic mask to give myself a bunch of deathwings, and then a 36+ damage turn when the first deathwing eventually died.

All classes completed! Final thoughts: I liked the dungeon mode a LOT. I hardly played any ranked ladder due to it, I had fun with most classes (shaman and maybe one other were kind of miserable), and I love that it's self-contained. I really hope the format gets expanded on and not just in the sense of "a few more random bosses" since that means the slow startup time will stay the same.

Seriously, rank 17 and already all I see are the same 4 decks.

And still need 170 hunter wins for my last golden. Having ok luck with a big hunter deathrattle thing, but need perfect draws to hold off the 1 paladin deck I ever see.

Liking the expansion overall, gotta order a big plate of crow on the warlock weapon. Meta is still young, but looks like weapon removal isn't being run too much yet.

Just play aggro CTA pally in wild or secret mage if you wanna climb quick
I am a little curious about how you would build those for wild.

For Call to Arms, I think it'd fit best with Secret Paladin.
Code:
### Secret Paladin
# Class: Paladin
# Format: Wild
#
# 2x (1) Avenge
# 2x (1) Noble Sacrifice
# 1x (1) Patches the Pirate
# 2x (1) Redemption
# 2x (1) Righteous Protector
# 2x (1) Southsea Deckhand
# 2x (2) Dire Wolf Alpha
# 2x (2) Haunted Creeper
# 2x (2) Knife Juggler
# 2x (2) Shielded Minibot
# 2x (3) Divine Favor
# 2x (3) Muster for Battle
# 2x (4) Call to Arms
# 2x (6) Mysterious Challenger
# 1x (6) Sunkeeper Tarim
# 2x (7) Corridor Creeper

I don't know about wild secret mage. I'd probably add Mad Scientist, and either Dr Boom or Ragnaros. Not sure what else. Possible a more burn oriented deck would be better than secret oriented, since Mad Scientist doesn't get the tick of "played" secret for Kabal Crystal Runner.

There are a few Aggro Paladin lists in Wild. Most of them run a large Pirates Package along with the Knife Juggler and other weenies, plus Ship's Cannon. Ship's Cannon plus Knife Juggler dropping from Call to Arms hurts a lot. :(

I pulled Dragon Soul and made a miracle priestish deck. It's more focused on creatures than is healthy because I don't have Lyra, but it's pretty cool anyway.

The deck I just completed the druid dungeon run w/ was absolute trash. I won all my games w/ the 3 mana treasure that deletes mana crystals and makes them discard.

Just polished off a paladin run. Had this insane dude deck with upgraded hero power to get two dudes for one Mana, permanent stealth, 3x Tarims, 2x Lightfused Stegodons, and 2x Warhorse Trainer.

I was loaded with stealth dudes constantly, loading them up with buffs to punch bosses in the face.

I've been stuck on Paladin dungeon run for a while. The card choices are so bad.

The best combo you can get is the wax elemental plus deathrattle totem.

I finished it with going heavy on silver hand recruits and cards that buff those. Even without the heropower ring or minion stealth the run was very easy with those.

So speaking of dungeon runs, there is a consensus as to the best treasures? I think the best performing ones that I have come across are actually not the flashy ones like Horn of Cenarius (can be insane in a top heavy deck) or Wish, but something kinda mundane like Glyph of Warding.

Glyph of Warding rules. It REALLY screws up the powerful plays of a LOT of the bosses. Ones like Candlebeard all of a sudden become much less frightening when they can't pull of their BS combo on the same turn (AI will play stuff like Ragers without the mana to use the hero power on them). It is immensely powerful in giving you space to breathe against the first crop of bosses which some classes really need (Pally, Priest, Warrior, IMO). It isn't super impactful late game, but it gives you the chance to build a deck with enough late game threats to challenge those final bosses. I love picking that treasure when it makes sense.

The +1/+1 to everything banner is also really amazing, though I suspect everyone knows that already. It is especially amazing in Paladin since it will hit your recruits. Also, I have been really trying to put the Quel'dalar sword together for a while but have never pulled it off yet. And the only deck I've been able to get the fishing pole with, immediately got destroyed the next boss and I never got to use it =(

Man that new aggro paladin is secret paladin levels of braindead and uninteractive.

Also divine favor is still the worst designed game in Hearthstone.

I better ask you what you think is bad with with it.

I can say for sure that DF has actively messed up my game plan as a dead card a lot of times... even worse when it is a dead top deck.

In any card game dumping your hand and ending up without answers/cards is a bad way to play. Card advantage should always count for something. Divine Favor completely negates that.
It makes sure that even if you just dump your characters willy-nilly and loose them, it doesnt matter because DF saves your ass.

I really dislike a card that rewards players for playing suboptimal.

you can only dump cheap cards which, by themselves, are very low impact.

and you can play around it by keeping your hand size low. which is a good strategy because 1 for 1 your cards are better than their cards.

yeah call to arms is way more powerful in general. it puts a bunch of low cost stuff directly into play so you're more likely to draw into powerful cards. and it's rare that it doesn't get you any value.

It's punishing greedy decks, playing a bunch of 1 mana cards wont make a good impact on the game unless you let them all live, besides, the card cost 3 mana, making it quite difficult to manevour in a deck where you want to spend all the mana making threats, preassure is key on this deck and that card is the opposite of what the deck wants.

And if you say me that doesn't matter on turn 8, then the game is pretty decided before that.

Now, call to arms, that's a VERY powerful card that I understand why people have problems, but DF is not a problem at all
