I guess we've already reached most Era folks by now... He gets to keep the funds and already has enough to cover the initial cost, so there's no need to panic though. But it'd be good if we could reach more people from outside this place at this point. If anyone has ideas I'm all ears.

Also yeah, definitely curious about the deadline. Is that the definitive end date or could it be extended? And could we start a new one afterwards? By when would you need the rest of the funds anyway, Talal ? Because I'm pretty confident we could get to the full amount in due time.

I see there are about 650 donations so far and we have 33,000 members. I think if enough people just donate $1 or $2, we will reach the goal in no time. Don't worry about looking or feeling bad or anything like that. You can do so anonymously. This is a situation where literally every dollar counts and will help tremendously. Please everyone, donate $1 or 2 if you can.

The deadline can be extended of course. I'm sure when I'll start treatment, it'll kick off and I will be able to raise everything. A video game developer also gave me 20 steam keys for his games. I'm not sure how to use them.

Fleeing to Europe could have been a good decision a few months ago but when you are feeling ill it's not a good idea. I heard stories about Iraqi children that were being treated in Germany but the preparations took quite long.

So let's hope the doctors are wrong with their estimations.

It would be nice if people could plug this thread in their community threads if they haven't already. I only found out because someone did so in a community thread that I frequent. That could be a good way to raise more awareness. There are a lot of people who almost never check Etcetera.

Maybe do something like, for every person that donated they can be in the drawing for one of the game codes. I'm guessing that is what that developer had in mind.

But you could always just sell the codes directly on a place like ebay as a charity auction or something like that I doubt the developer would mind.
