LRG found a box of Breach and Clear Vita.

They're putting it in the Blind Boxes. Good luck guys. I was hoping for it to be listed on its own. But there goes that. Not going to take $24.99 + 5.50 gamble and get a game I already have/don't want. Heck. I got the ROM cover I detested.

Sony failed Skullgirls Vita for a spelling error. Another reason was if someone's PSN name is super long, it won't show up in the lobby or something like that.

I never understood the rationale behind this. Why not keep the games you're happy with and stop buying new releases? Or just buy the games you actually want to play? Why does it have to be all or nothing?

I'll probable keep a couple, but we're talking Nex Machina and DBCS, maybe. And I'll play those on Steam if I'm being honest.

I liked the idea initially but that has faded and been replaced by a distaste for the brand.

All or nothing is a personality disorder if anything, you don't need to understand it.

I was looking at the vita blind box and I think I'm in for two of them.

Only two dupes (Ys origin and Saturday morning RPG), Darius burst is in the common category and everything else in ok with. Hell a dupe Saturday morning rPG would pay for the whole thing... and Ys Origin being inthere is why I'm trying for 2...

First, we're talking Skullgirls PS4 and not Vita.

Then you won't have 80% chance of having Skullgirls PS4 by buying a blind box. You have 80% chance of having a "common" game, which means either :
Skullgirls: 2nd Encore, Night Trap, Asdivine Hearts, Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae, Mutant Mudds Deluxe, Mutant Mudds Super Challenge, Furi, Pang, Super GunWorld 2, The Flame in the Flood, Absolute Drift, Chariot, CRAWL, Nex Machina, Nova-111, Risk of Rain, RIVE, Stealth Inc., Dear Esther, Ys Origin, Read Only Memories, and Plague Road.

You have 80% chance of getting one of these 22 games.
If games are equally distributed that's 0.8*1/22 chance of getting Skullgirls. Meaning 3.6%.

You're better off having ordered it one year ago than buying 28 blind boxes hoping to get one Skullgirls :p

Hell yes. Can't wait to give LRG my money for night trap instead of a shithead scalper. I've been keeping an eye on ebay waiting for it to drop under the $40 pricepoint or hoping to snag a used copy, and it looks like I won't have to :)

I've already seen some go at a loss, but I hope the rest of them are stuck with their copies

Long story short, got the tripple oddworld pack with firewatch, got my oddworld triple package cancel because they miscaculated number of copy or something like that. So they give me the choice to take only one copy of oddworld + firewatch..... package was suppose to be sent, 3 month later nothing. Ask them if they can resent them I never got a LGR package lost, was doing the full set since the start. Got the message that we don't have any of these 2 game in stock...

That sucks. Try contacting them on Twitter or something. Maybe you can buy one of these copies before they put them up for sale tomorrow. I read some others recommending this as well.

Same with me, My ticket hasn't been responded to in the last couple of days...I'm thinking the helpdesk isn't occupied these days, but they ARE doing the big blowout tomorrow so they can't all be at home. :-/

I've looked at what are the games that could be in the Vita blind boxes, and if I (and LRG) did my calculations right, there's a 28% chance of getting something I really want, 38% chance for something I wouldn't mind getting, a 21% chance for something I don't want, and a 14% chance of getting something I really don't want. Honestly, I like those odds. Will be picking up Mecho Tales and maybe Ray Gigant with it tomorrow.

Edit: Just noticed Rock Boshers DX will put me over the $500 hold limit by $20. Guess I'll have them ship out my stuff on Friday and hope it's everything, though if they hang on to Rock Boshers DX, it's no big deal. Has anyone hit the $500 limit? Do they email you about it with a shipping quote? Do you pay shipping for all the items combined? Or do they wave that? I know if I have it ship with an item I'm ordering, just the cost of shipping for what I'm buying at that moment is enough.

I don't believe you pay any additional shipping, all the $5.50 costs add up to cover your complete order. If you hit the hold release without even ordering anything else, you're still looking at paying a shipping charge to your local country. That's why you hit the hold release with an order, it's basically free shipping on that new order.

They do split orders as they please to maximize the $500 value. But there's no way to tell what they'll leave behind. It seemed like you could make requests with the order comments, but they don't seem to pay attention to that.
I asked them to ship the 4 CE's I had on hold, and ordered 4 CE box protectors with the hold release. They shipped out 3 CE's, seemingly without the box protectors. I'm waiting to see what shows up, maybe they just didn't invoice the box protectors...

How did we sour you? We did Blind Boxes last year and it was incredibly popular. We don't expect everyone to like it but a lot of people seemed to enjoy it and even told us so at conventions.

We didn't have any at the time, some were returned or found when we started packing to move into our new office. We don't have very many being listed, it's probably one of the rarest.

Ray Gigant sold out almost immediately, I was picking up 3 blind boxes, but for some reason I couldn't when the limit is 5. Had to change back to 2 and when I did Ray Gigant was gone. Oh well, not a big deal.

Edit: Looks like they made the right call switching back to 2, even though it was unannounced. Vita blindbox has sold out in 5 minutes.

Picked up Vita Mechnotails and Caldarius Blaze for PS4.

My LRG Vita collection is still 100% complete, but I'm not sure how much longer I will keep it going once they rollout Switch games.

And I'm thinking of dump the majority of my LRG PS4 releases on eBay. I have all of the releases through 2016 and a few random 2017 releases. But I need to buy a new truck and would to increase hmthe size off my down payment. Lots to consider...

As much as anything I hope this year brings an end to releases that aren't ready to ship and back to how it originally worked, it's not a huge complaint especially since I do hold orders so I'm never in a huge rush to get everything but it does make it easier to keep track of when to expect things to ship (I've had shipping held up a month by Windjammers for example).

There goes my last chance to own that game physically, I guess...

I think this is it. I don't remember the email saying anything about splitting the stock in batches. It's a blow out sale, so it goes on for as long as they have stock.

If you made multiple purchases within a day, I think you have 24 hours to send a message to the Support Team with a request to combine them. If you're looking to have something spread out over a longer period of time, you'll probably have to take a chance with the hold service.

I've admittedly never utilized the hold service so I can't speak from experience. LRG has a dedicated page which describes the whole process from what I can tell. If you're looking to fold what you purchased today into a future shipment, you might want to contact Support with some of the adjustments in the aforementioned link. Just be forewarned that it has been met with mixed reception as several folk across the Net have spoken about some packages shipping out with missing items and the subsequent hassle to make everything right through further e-mail exchanges.
