I'm so happy it did. Because over this Christmas break, I had played on replaying it. Then lo and behold, it gets made right before the end of the year lol
So you don't wanna shit on the game cuz it's the OT but you do it anyway? Lol I mean you're free to talk negative on it if that's how you feel about it but I don't see what the point of the facade was.
Like, my mans, you can talk shit about the game as long as it's constructive discussion.
"I won't say that this game is terrible because this is the OT but it's really terrible you guys"
What even is this, lol.
There was just a buzz with the franchise from the forums that came before and always cool when you see Kat avys appear, like you're part of some cool collective that didn't necessary had a home...like Kat, to think about it.I'd like to think this thread kind of came to be out of coincidence and how strong the ending was. I stumbled upon Calfirma post here in the adopt a user thread and got some warm fuzzies at remembering the ending moments of the game. Unfortunately the topic was not quite right so I suggested a LTTP instead. This almost happened but Toon Link came and saved the day by offering to make the OT. So now we have a new home.

Now the year is coming to end and people are now being reminded who started the year off with a bang!
Wow, they really put in some effort into GR2's ad in Japan. Worth a look if you haven't seen it, was quite fun.
Here is something neat I found on a Japanese auction site last year:
Snagged for less than 10 bucks.
I believe it is supposed to be a promotional DVD for retailers to play on a display in their store. Still shrink wrapped so I wont be opening it any time soon if ever.
I'll have to share a few more things from my collection when I have some time.
Throwing them around is incredibly funny.Human fights, well, at least you can easily chuck them at stuff using stasis.

It isn't bad. Quite doable. It will take a bit of time though.Has someone got the platinum for this game? How hard is it? I browsed through the trophy list and some read a little grindy.
Loved this as well.Wow, they really put in some effort into GR2's ad in Japan. Worth a look if you haven't seen it, was quite fun.

Loved the first game so much that I got the platinum on both the Vita and the PS4 version.
Didn't really play much this year but after hearing that they would shut down the online component I had to finally get this.
I only played until chapter 10 so far, but sadly the game is kind of disappointing so far.
I still absolutely love the game's style, it had me hooked from the first minute playing the game and becomes even more awesome once the game opens up and you get this huge city to fly through.
However, the missions/story are not really all that great so far. Fighting human enemies and combat in tight environments is nothing that I really wanted from the game.
Challenges were something absolutely awesome in the first game, but so far the few challenges in the second game have not really grabbed my attention.
Still hoping for an improvement in the second half of the game.

Indeed, it is. I'm already at 2285 as of my fourth day playing.Glad this OT happened. I was in a panic myself to finish Gravity Rush 2 before impending server closure. But to folks just starting now, it's doable! I think i spent a week at most. It's very doable to get the 5000 dusty tokens in that timeframe, just keep at it!
Lots of gems, but you start missing how many there are when you get most of them and are looking for the few you missed.Do I just suck or are the Challenges really hard to get Gold in? The first time battle took so many tries and as of right now the first delivery one feels impossible.
And Jesus there are so many gems everywhere. I don't remember it being this insane in the first game.

Believe some main missions, and certain side missions, both raise gravity gauge and health. There were definitely many gems in the first game as well. In the weirdest places, too.
I got bronze on the first challenge, 50 points short of silver, despite being quite confidant in my skills as I just finished the first game. So I figure it's mostly a case of upgrading your skills.
Speaking of which: I miss the option to power up the gravity gauge and your health. Can this only be done through talismans now or do they improve as you progress through the story?
Several outfits, yes.Is there anything additional unlocked if I played the first Gravity Rush on PS4?
Thanks for the heads up! Now just gotta hope it'll unlock with my HK copy.
The side quests that really irked me were the ones that existed to introduce challenges. I don't get why they were needed, just give me the damn challenges, they aren't that complex that I need side missions to serve as tutorials.Enjoyed this game but the game went a bit too long and alot of the sidequest were pretty bad. Sitll loved flying and the city was gorgeous.
OK, thanks. It was hard going from the fully upgraded gravity gauge in Remastered to the one in the beginning of Gravity Rush 2, but at least it will get better.Believe some main missions, and certain side missions, both raise gravity gauge and health.
I'd prefer them being regular powerups like the first, but oh well.
I don't think so. Just have a Remaster save and start up GR2.Do you have to reach any milestones in GR1 Remastered to unlock these outfits in GR2? I have it, and have a save file for it. But since I already completed the Vita version I never played through it on PS4.
