Improved gravity action
Kat's incredible gravity based powers have been given a boost in Gravity Rush 2. On top of her Normal style, Kat now has access to Lunar and Jupiter styles:
Lunar: Reduces gravity and makes Kat lighter and quicker.
Jupiter: Increases gravity, slowing down Kat's movements but making her more powerful.
Each style offers unique attacks that you can seamlessly switch between and combine to devastating effect.
Tag-team battle system
Partner up with other computer-controlled allies, such as the formidable Raven, and tackle more heavy duty opposition – make sure no one can withstand your spectacular tag-team attacks.
Costumes
Just like in the original game, Gravity Rush 2 allows players to acquire a number of additional costumes for the protagonist Kat.
Additional Gameplay Features
The game also adds a photograph functionality and online asynchronous multiplayer such as treasure hunts and challenges.
There is a new difficulty setting selection, allowing players to make the game slightly harder or easier, and using Gravity Gems unlocks a more diverse moveset for Kat instead of powering up her shifting time or speed.
...and more!
DLC
You can play as Raven in a free DLC titled "The Ark of Time: Raven's Choice."
There are also several free DLC costumes, such as the Dark Angel Costume and the NieR: Automata Collaboration Pack.

Gaming Age - Grade A
Really, that's the overarching theme of Gravity Rush 2: it takes what made the first game intriguing, it builds on the proof of concept that was Gravity Rush Remastered, and it shows what Kat and co. are really capable of doing. It may start out a little slowly, but once it hits its stride, it quickly becomes apparent that the sky's both the literal and figurative limit as to what this game can accomplish.
Digital Chumps - 9.5/10
As I wrap up this review, I find myself in a similar position as I was one year ago when I reviewed GR Remastered — having a ton of fun and finding very little to complain about. That's not to say GR2 is perfect, or that any game can be, but any gripes I have would be minor and far overshadowed by the game's resounding positives. It's fair to say it's 2017's first must-have game.
DualShockers - 9.5/10
It's extremely fun, engaging and even challenging. Due to its production and artistic value, it's definitely one of those titles that you'll want to show your friends when you need to demonstrate why you're proud to be a gamer. They're bound to be impressed.
Destructoid - 9.5/10
Oh, and it's still gorgeous, more so given that this was built from the ground up for the PS4. There's some pop-in but I've always been bigger on draw distances, especially with a game that puts such an emphasis on traversal like Gravity Rush 2 -- I love being able to see where I'm headed while boosting into the sky.
Easy Allies - 4.5/5
Gravity Rush 2 is a gorgeous game with stunning visuals accompanied by a stellar soundtrack that features tunes both old and new. Although there are some rough edges, it's an emotional ride from start to finish and one amazing action adventure game. It's a worthy successor, and an outstanding return to this enchanting world.
GameSpot - 9/10
While its stealth missions are lame and it's disappointing to experience camera issues from time to time, Gravity Rush 2 excels in almost every other respect, making its predecessor seem quaint by comparison. This is easily one of the best video game sequels in recent memory, and an adventure truly worthy of its excellent lead character.
The Sixth Axis - 9/10
Gravity Rush 2 is everything I wanted out of a sequel. It's bigger, better, it's drop-dead gorgeous and it never stagnates.
IGN - 8.4/10
After a couple of story hiccups, Gravity Rush 2 righted itself and pulled me in with the personality of its world and wide variety of activities. The new gravity powers and styles make combat exciting, and well-written side quests and character relationships grant better insight into Kat's universe. After 40 hours I found it hard to put the controller down, and I can't wait to jump back in to finish every sidequest I can find.
Eurogamer - Recommended
Gravity Rush seemed like an oddity on Vita, but then, the entire Vita was an oddity, wasn't it? On the radio friendly unit shifter that is the PS4, however, Gravity Rush 2 still seems wonderfully unlikely and out of place. What a strange delight.
