Very True though. Still love Rich but man his game opinions are trash. It makes him so human, being so vastly different in appeal.
That'd work, it wouldn't be humane but it'd work.
Jack keeps the convo in check most of the time. Rich just talks a lot of nonsense and is inconsistently contrarian too often.
If you've got five minutes, watch Rich Evans vs All of Pokemon Wisdom.
I remember listening to Rich talk about his irrational hatred of JRPGs once, and he said that back in the day someone tried to get him to play one on SNES, saying it was great. But he thought it was crap. And then he vaguely described it, and I realized he was talking about Lufia 2, a genuine masterpiece. And he was mostly upset that the Maxim/Tia childhood-friend shipping crashed and burned just as he was getting into it.I remember after finishing The Last Guardian, loving every difficult, awkward minute with that game and watching the Pre:Rec review straight after. Good Lord, they hated it with a passion and the grumpy bastards proceeded to tear it pieces. But, that's alright. They entertained me and that's all I need from these pieces. If you're there for validation, you're in the wrong place, Jack and Rich all over the map when it comes to what makes a great game. They're not professional reviewers, they're damaged enthusiasts withered by the winds of time etching small sand particles of joy from their soul. To be this dour must be divine.
Seems like Pre Rec is stuck at where many people feel about RLM/Half in the Bag. They want the negative opinions with humorous quips when it's an easy target. When I've heard Rich say that RPGs are for people who hate gameplay, I decided I can probably safely ignore any of their video game related opinions and stick with RLM. I did enjoy watching them literally tear the Mass Effect series to pieces, though. Very cathartic.
It's stock Final Cut Pro music. So I'm on Youtube looking for rice cooker recipes because that's what I do now apparently, and I come across this one. Now where have I heard that music before...
Yeah, it's a song called "Fifth Avenue Stroll".So I'm on Youtube looking for rice cooker recipes because that's what I do now apparently, and I come across this one. Now where have I heard that music before...
Yeah, it's a song called "Fifth Avenue Stroll".
I think it's included in the iMovie editing software so you can hear it in a few things.
I've heard it in another, different youtube cooking show, as well as aJapanese porn.
Mr Booze has been stuck in mine for weeks. The "Devil's Son" song has been stuck in my head for 3 days.
Send help.
You shoulda seen it coming when Josh was the only one who chose it as BOTW.Just here to say that Cathy's Curse is a piece of shit that peaks 2 minutes into it. Can't believe I got it recommended.
Mike also picked a movie that when he was more sober he called it trash, then Mr booze messed with him.You shoulda seen it coming when Josh was the only one who chose it as BOTW.
Has anyone here watched Lake Mungo? Trailer looks fairly good and it's Jay's favorite horror movie. Been curious to do so.
From what Jay discussed and what I'm seeing from reviews, people are saying it's just very unsettling because it's a found footage/documentary where the ghost chasing them down with loud noises never happens. It's just very horrific to see the ghost in the background. Seems the general idea is that it's a supernatural thriller/drama with a sense of dread.I guess I need to watch Lake Mungo then. I could find a crappy trailer on youtube.
Is it really scary?
Alright, what's everyone's favourite episode of Wheel of the Worst specifically?Me personallyI'm a big fan of Everything is Terrible!, so I find it my favourite part of RLM, and is what got me into the channel in the first place (aside from Plinkett).
I'd have to say episode 13, where they watch every tape. Safe Crossing: An 'Egg-celent' Idea is a masterpiece and must be uploaded in its entirety at all costs
Wheel of the Worst #9 with Rainbow's Remedy is probably my favorite.Alright, what's everyone's favourite episode of Wheel of the Worst specifically?
Linda fucking it up for everyone

I'll watch it with friends if we can find it.
Damn it Linda, not everyone has a kitchen counter!
