Played a couple of games this morning...I still have the innate ability to shoot cartoon-esque outlines of the bad guys every time.
Which is amazing considering I was using a shotgun.

I agree with stepping away. I got destroyed all day yesterday. Took a break and then hopped into duos with my brother. I prefer practicing in duos and was able to get my aim back after struggling with the new patch. With a game like this, sometimes it is best to just step away for a little bit.
I'm in the other boat myself. Before the patch, I wasn't getting many kills, but now I'm getting 5-6 a game almost. In solos as well. The aiming seems pretty great to me now whereas before I had to compensate a bit more than now.
I love when people post stuff like this. Thanks for sharing that with us!
That is class Jorge, Microsoft are really getting behind this game!
That's a nice package right there. I like the controller
Yeah, don't worry about the first one if you're far from the play zone. Worry when the circle gets smaller
Also don't forget to join the resetera pubg club. When you request and invite please pm me your xbl name so I know who I'm accepting.
Merry Christmas, hom3land!In other news.. I thought I was #teamAldi as that is where I do most of my shopping.. but they just opened a Lidl here in Raleigh and my allegiance has changed. The store is brighter, chocolate is better, and they have a bakery with a very acceptable croissant. Go #teamLidl
Where are you trying to find loot? Some areas have lower spawn chances for better guns and gear. The Rng gods hate me today. I've found 1 AR in the last 5 games. And it's not like I haven't been looking. I found 4 8x scopes in one building....lol.
Edit: and I find an AR and 2 people team on me in solo. F U.
Go for the apartments to the right of school. Or go to George or somewhere with warehouses. High risk high reward. There's some other great places that are off the beaten path but you'll have to find those yourself >:]In the last few games? I've been dropping near rozhok, away from the school.
I seem to find a dozen shotguns before I can get an AR.
Awesome site! I wonder when we will be able to start seeing xbox stats on stat websites and such.

I get what you're saying for sure lol it's a gift and a curseI sort of hope soon, I sort of hope never--if you know what I mean lol.
Rubber banding all over the place, controls felt unresponsive and it was really hard to aim....wtf has happened?
There are times during a tense battle where my AC kicks in and I get in panic mode because I can't always hear the small sounds in game.Man.. Do not play this game without headphones or at least the sound up high.. Was casually playing a couple rounds with the wife's Christmas music on.. Never even saw (or heard) death coming. Didn't realize how important footsteps sounds etc are in this game!

Having a headset is a pretty considerable advantage for sure. I'm actually thinking about investing in a high quality headset, mostly for PUBG.
I am still trying to understand the logic of team killing your teammates if you don't get points from doing it . Fuck
That's actually the one I'm considering. How is it working out for you?
Also if you don't mind me asking, how are the voice quality and noise cancellation on the mic?
Okay. I posted earlier in the thread I was passing on this game as I do not have time to dedicate to getting good at it. I also had not received the Xbox Gift Card yet that I received from my father in law earlier tonight for X-Mas. Checking things out there is not much it looks like I will be spending this money on until March or so. And I really am very intrigued by this game itself.
So 1 question and a confirmation.
I really do not have a lot of time to play games these days so the above questions really do determine if I will take the plunge or not. The last thing I want to do is sit around watching others play while I am dead. I know I am going to die a lot if I do check it out but I would like to be able to keep the action going at a decent pace. So I just need to know how the general flow of matches goes. This may just not be a game for me and I am 110% okay with that, but as I said I am intrigued as all hell.
- I Googled it and I see matches on average are about 30 or so minutes each? This about right?
- Does one have to sit around after they die? Meaning if a match is 30 minutes long and I die 5 minutes into said match, is the next 25 minutes me just sitting around for the next game? Or can I leave the server and find a new match to join? And will I indeed join that new match in a relatively timely manner? Or is the etiquette once you find a server you stay on said server?
TIA for anyone that can provide some intel.
It's been working out really well. I'm a big fan of the dial that lets you mix voice/game chat--it works wonderfully well to let me roll back game volume in the lobby and then kick it up in more sensitive areas. The drivers seem decent as well, and a bit better than the Stealth 600's I returned and exchanged (left ear can ringing aside).
As far as voice, it seems to work well. I don't think it has any sort of active noise cancellation (or even mic monitoring), but everyone hears me clearly and without a lot of modulation.
Awesome thank you. And can you get in a new match relatively quickly? Like within 10 minutes or so?

If that is the case, I will be buying it tonight to start playing it tomorrow.
Thanks,
