Spoiler mode is an actual podcast (unlike all the other hour-plus videos they have with for some reason aren't on podcast services) so we'll get our audios.

The only hour+ content that is know of that is not in audio form is the Q&A (which should have an audio version), the community showcase, and game streams. Everything else is in audio form. Unless I am misunderstanding what you meant to say.

Hall of Greats, E3/Goty Awards discussions, E3/PSX Impressions, Conference Post-Shows are all discussion-based stuff off the top of my head which aren't on audio services.

I have to listen to those with YT on the background of whatever I'm doing but I'd rather have a podcast feed with those things.

Group stream was a bit underwhelming, but maaaaaaaan I want a new Striker-game so bad. Even a port for the Switch would be enough with a proper framerate. Loved the original.

Also: The cover art is so badass.

I'm watching the Mario Strikers Charged stream and fully expected Damiani to discover and abuse the Dry-Bones teleport cheese.

Now he's already out of the tournament and I didn't even get Hammer Bros. spam.

Yay! Got my Switch today, Mario + Rabbids with it. Seems like a really fun game, also downloaded some demos from the Eshop. Will also borrow Zelda from my friend after I've finished Rabbids.

Haven't had Nintendo home console since N64, Switch feels like a great machine!

Agreed, it'd be nice to have an "EZA specials" type feed with that other stuff.

Just got around to this month's reaction shots, Ian really needs to watch Christmas Vacation.

I have heard stories of Chevy Chase being a massive douche but that movie is so good.

A bit unrelated to EZA (other than I know that their spoiler mode on the topic is going up soon), but I did just finish up a long form piece on Last Jedi at the Hoeg Law blog which some of you may find interesting. Unfortunately, the movie didn't really work for me. (SPOILERS)

"The backlash isn't (entirely) about who Snoke is, or who Rey's parents are, or even how Luke treats his father's lightsaber after 30 years of separation, it's about ordering a pizza and receiving a hamburger. The chef could explain to you that the hamburger is comprised of Wagyu beef on handmade rolls cooked to perfection over open flames crafted solely for this burger experience, and…it still wouldn't be a pizza."

Check it out (if interested) here: https://hoeglaw.wordpress.com/2017/...ke-skywalker-and-heroism-in-the-age-of-trump/.

For me, it was GameCube in 2002 (the same year I bought GBA) and GBA SP in 2003 (I got it along with GBA Player for GameCube). I did have times where I wanted a Wii or a Wii U, but the main draws for me were Virtual Console (for both) and Super Mario Maker (for Wii U). Now I'm hoping so much that both VC and SMM come to Switch.

Nice! Mario + Rabbids is definitely one of the best games of the year.

Btw, I highly recommend checking out MK8 Deluxe. Great for some quick races to break up the Zelda play sessions.

Oh and of course, you should get the GOTY...Odyssey!

end of the year damiani streams are pretty fun. Hard to keep up with the long hours but tuning in once in a while and damiani stream being there is pretty nice.

There is quality control to worry about. It's not a good look to have episodes on podcast services that have people walking in and out, people talking in the background, video demonstrations during the stream, etc.

Before the Switch my last Nintendo console was the NES. I bought the Switch mainly because of Persona 5. It was my 1st Persona game and I had to have what that studio was doing next and I found out about SMT and here I am.

Persona and mainline SMT are very different series, so I hope you know what you're getting into. I love Persona (though 5 was a big disappointment for me) but I'm not much of a fan of SMT, it's way too dungeon crawly for my liking.

My last Nintendo console was the Gamecube. There were interesting Wii and Wii U games that kinda made me interested in picking one of those systems up but no "system seller" that pushed me over the edge. I've owned all Nintendo's handhelds though, mainly for Pokemon, Ace Attorney and the occasional wacky Japanese game, so I'll buy a Switch eventually for that reason (though unless they bring out a revision I can fit in a pocket, I'll probably treat it as a console and never undock it).

Hah yeah it was really difficult to choose a game to start with! I admit that getting the Switch would had been even bit more special if I first booted it up with Botw or Odyssey, but M+R ain't bad either. Also hoping to see more Wii U ports, Mario Maker and Tropical Freeze would be excellent.

We had a Famicom growing up. After that it was the Gamecube, which was the first console I bought with my own money, and it was a very bad investment (bought it for multiplayer, people I played with disappeared). DS was my first handheld.
Got everything post that and they were all great. I bought the Wii U post death to play Mario Maker but barely made any Marios. Got to play BotW at launch without buying a Switch. And I lost my Wii after lending it to nephews so my Wii U has more of a value now ᖍ(ツ)ᖌ

My last and first Nintendo home console was the Wii U
If you take into account Virtual Console and Wii games it's the best singular Nintendo console to own. You get access to all the great Marios, Zeldas, Metroids, DKs, and Kirbys. You even get Breath of the Wild!

Unless you got it for new games, then you're stuck with like 10 games.

Sonic Mania and Mario+Rabbids were my first Switch games. Made getting Odyssey even more special.

I bought it to play Bayonetta 2. I had Rayman Legends, Super Mario Bros. U, Super Smash Bros., Super Mario Kart 8. I got rid of it after playing Super Smash Bros.

I don't think I've ever felt as close to Huber as in that Last Jedi Spoiler Mode. That was me and my friends leaving the movie haha (although I was probably closer to Kyle).

30 minutes hung up on Snoke jesuschrist lol. There are actually other things to criticize this movie for.

At least Huber isn't crazy enough to defend the Canto Bight sequence.

Bosman and Huber deliver dude.

Jones was more positive than I thought he'd be too!

Maybe I'm nuts, but I thought the beginning with the bad comedy was supposed to lure you into thinking you were getting Force Awakens 2, only for it to immediately go in a different direction. Just another part of how the whole movie is basically a metacommentary on reception to TFA.

Just saw the old final bossman E3 special on YouTube so decided to rewatch it and god damn do I miss final bossman.

I wish Kyle had the time to continue it with the allies. I can only imagine the stuff he would come up with now.

I don't like how spoiler mode for Nintendo games are relegated to Friend Code, feels like they should be seperate things and that FC should tackle something else instead of that. Maybe that's just me, otherwise I love FC

It is weird. Breath of the wild was actually in the "Zelda podcast" which is even weirder. If both Zelda and Mario had been labeled and produced as "spoiler mode" videos it would made the series seem more fleshed out because as it stands now it's something that very rarely gets produced due to how rare it is for multiple allies to all finish something and feel compelled to produce a video on it.

I'm planning to get a Switch next year, but I want to get y'alls opinions on something. I like playing a lot of 2d platformers and naturally, I use the Dpad when playing those types of games. For all you Switch owners that like playing 2d games on it, hows the button pad on that thing? ( I don't know what the name of those buttons are). What do y'all think? Thanks in advance.

Edit: I should also note that I plan on playing this thing mostly portable mode. So Pro controller is out of the question.

I'm going Team Kyle & Huber on this one, though I'm flip flopping which one I'm more in line with.

Yeah, i think i'm on #TeamAllofThem, lol. There are so many good things and also bad things, or good ideas with some poor executions. I watched it two times so far and i think it's an excellent flawed film. I for one thought Force Awakens was special, this one isn't.

Because they felt the need to promote/fill Zelda Talk and Friend Code. Frankly neither of these series mesh well with EZA's content in the first place. They aren't a Nintendo fansite.
