Casca won't heal anytime soon. Shit will get more complexed in the next chapter.
That game is cannon unless something has changed in that regard. So its possible. Miura may have very well changed his mind at this point.
I think Casca's awakening is still about 3 or 4 chapters away at the earliest (please?!), but regardless, I'm still ridiculously hyped for the next chapter!

That and a lot has happened since then...if Casca is even tangentially aware of what's going on (which seems to be the case) then she may react differently.
