Traveled a few weeks ago and having the switch on the plane was amazing. Also at an airport in Florida coming home, saw a guy playing the switch. He was playing Stardew Valley. Almost sat next to him, but someone sat down before I did. He looked over later and I was playing Stardew Valley.
Traveling is so much better with the switch. Flying still sucks in general, unfortunately.

Not at all, dude! You're telling me you've never played the Switch in various high priced hotels and planes across the world? In your private jet? The private ranch you own in Tuscany?

Did your dog also react to the BOTW sounds a bunch? Mine freaked out everytime Link ran across a pack of wolves. The little guy also adored the horse sounds.

Shortly after release, took a trip to Bavaria.
It was a great way to test out my new toy.
On another occasion I had the chance to try out monster hunter on the train. I kinda felt bummed that I had to leave after 4 hours lol.
I usually use the switch very often while traveling. Will be taking a lot more pictures now. It is worth it!
I ordered 2 Switches for my bar just so customers can play I'll post pics when I have them.

This was just at home the other morning on a messy kitchen table, but with Hulu on the Switch I think one of its best uses is finally realized. I had Cheerios, coffee, and Golden Girls right at the table. It was great.

I mostly play Switch on my monitor, sometimes in the bed or outside in a pub (usually with some other people) but I did take it on a train trip and was impressed by the stand which is actually a lot more stable than I've ever seen anyone give it credit for.

Unfortunately I use my switch as a home console. I do occasionally use it in the washroom or take it around the house or in bed.
If I do take it outside, it's in the car. I don't portable game outside much.

You don't put the joycons in your other pocket(s)? That's much more manageable than having the whole package in there. Relaxed fit totally helps.
Got lots of pics on planes and at parties, but this is my fave. Tried to Splatfest when I was hiking Mt. Snowdon with friends on a hen/stag due. Needless to say the connection wasn't that great. xD

Did you get that mug at World Market? I have measuring cups with that exact same design.
My friend opened my Switch as I drove home on the highway from Best Buy right after I bought it.

Haha I don't use a screen protector. I've read it could melt within the dock??
Here's my go to whenever someone claims it's not pocket sized:
I tend to wear athletic shorts and it doesn't really sit tight in there, feels like it'll just fall right out. Never tried it with any of my jeans though.
Doubt that. What's the melting point of such a thing anyway? I have a regular plastic one, no tempered glass. Anyway I don't think it would melt at the temperatures that Switch can get to. It mostly just gets a bit warm if anything.
Yeah I've actually had it fall out of athletic shorts, I wouldn't recommend that. Jeans work fine though, as long as they aren't skinny jeans I guess.
Amazing thread, I played my Switch in the garden, the bed, on the couch, airplanes and trains.

I think I took one picture of my Switch on a train when I first got it, but I can't find it now. I have flown around the world with it a few times, been on a bunch of trains, been to a bunch of hotels and whatnot, but never really took the time to photograph it. Maybe from now on I will so I can contribut to the thread.

My Switch life is much like my Vita life before it.
Just a little bulkier, a little less discreet, and a little less battery life.
BUT! It is so much fun to bust off those joy cons and play some games with a friend! I have really enjoyed sharing my Switch and that is something I really couldn't do with my beloved Vita.

Switch has been so awesome on the rare-ish occasion I go out to a restaurant to treat myself.
I don't have pics, but when I was booking at a local bar earlier this year one of the cooks there was kind of enamoured with the Switch. I set up tabletop mode to show him that if we wanted to we could have a Tetris battle right there! He of course was pretty drunk (he was off work) so didn't want to play. Totally understandable.
About twenty minutes later, though, he sat next to me at the bar while I was watching the band and said "Hey.... so I wanna play some Tetris". And we proceeded to play for about a half hour while he bought me shots of Fireball to try and make me lose.
A lot of my co-workers have Switches as well, or at least like the games I have, and I really want to play more with them but they're all obsessed with Hearthstone right now so *shrug*

I hardly ever travel, but those plane/train Switch pics are a joy to behold. I really must get one sooner or later!
